1.Tumor associated gene PFTK1
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(2):100-102
PFTK1,an important member of cyclin dependent kinase Cdc2 family,is over expressed in many malignancies.PFTK1 involves in multiple processes, such as regulation of cell cycle, tumor invasion and metastasis, and the Wnt signal transduction pathway, which has a significant impact on prognosis of tumor.
2.Effect of 8-nitrochyrsin on the proliferation and apoptosis of HL-60 cells
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the effect of 8-Nitrochyrsin on cell proliferation and cell apoptosis of HL-60 cells in vitro. Methods 8-Nitrochyrsin on proliferation of HL-60 cells was detected by MTT assay; The trypan blue exclusion method was used to count the number of viable and dead cells, then the survival rate and growth curve were achieved;DNA ladder bands were observed by DNA agarose gel electrophoresis;HL-60 cell apoptotic percentage was detected by flow cytometry with PI staining. Results 8-Nitrochrysin inhibited proliferation of HL-60 cells in a concentration-dependent manner;8-Nitrochyrsin possess the inhibitory effect on the proliferation and growth of HL-60 cells;8-Nitrochrysin possess the significantly effect of inducing apoptosis of HL-60 cells. Conclusion 8-Nitrochyrsin possess the inhibitory effect of the proliferation and growth of HL-60 cells and significantly induces apoptosis of HL-60 cells.
3.Advances in the stem cell-like side population cells
Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(4):505-508
Recently, stem cell like side population (SP) cells have been found in many normal organizations and malig?nant tumors, which have the proficiency of differentiation and self-renewal. These cells play an important role in cancer stem cell research, though they occupy a low proportion in total cells. Here, we reviewed the foundation of SP cells, and their rela?tionship with stem cells, and the clinical application in the future.

Objective To understand the common complications of PICC in olinical use. Methods Retrospectively summarize the data of PICC used in patients of SICU in 1999. Results In 1999, there were 14 pateints using PICC, among them 12 patients were male and the others were female. The average age was 71 years old. Embolus 4 cases' PICC were pulled out. Phlebitis occured in only one case. There are 2 patients presenting hyperpyrexia pulled the PICC out. But the cultures of PICC were negative. Conclusions The common complications of PICC are embolism, phlebitis and infection.

7. Chemical constituents of Vitis thunbergii var. taiwaniana
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(6):660-664
Objective: To study the chemical constituents in Vitis thunbergii var. taiwaniana specially grown in Taiwan, China. Methods: The compounds were isolated by repeated HP20 macroporous adsorption resin column combined with Sephadex LH-20, ODS, and silica gel column chromatography. Their structures were identified on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analysis and by comparison of their spectral data reported. Results: Twelve compounds were identified as resveratrol (1), trans-ε-viniferin (2), (7R, 8R)-threo-4, 7, 9, 9'-tetrahydroxy-3, 3'-dimethoxy-8-O-4'-neolignan 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), (7S, 8R)-urolignoside (4), schizandriside (5), vitisin A (6), vitisin B (7), davidiol A (8), 3, 5, 4'-trihydroxystilbene 4'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (9), ampelopsin C (10), (7R, 8S)-dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol 9-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (11), and epicatechin (12). Conclusion: Compounds 3-5 are separated from the plants of Vitis L. for the first time, and compounds 8, 9, 11, and 12 are separated from V. thunbergii var. taiwaniana for the first time.

Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics of human brucellosis in Baotou City of Inner Mongolia from 2008 to 2011.Methods Datas were collected from surveillance and investigation of human brucellosis in Baotou City during 2008-2011,and analyzed by descriptive study and statistics methods, including the main outcome measures:incidence, time distribution, endemic distribution, occupation distribution, age and sex distribution. Results About 2 338 cases were reported during the 4 years, the average annual incidence rate was 25.52/one hundred thousand, the annual incidence rate was in the range of 5.37/one hundred thousand to 38.65/one hundred thousand, and the incidence rate was rising year by year. The incidence mainly concentrated from April to August, and total reported cases were 1 423,accounting for 60.86%(1 423/2 338).Damaoqi and Guyangxian were regions with high prevalence rate of human brucellosis, and total reported cases were 1 652,accounting for 70.66%(1 652/2 338).The incidence of farmers was higher, accounting for 75.53% (1 766/2 338).The 31-60 years old group had the highest incidence, accounting for 75.02%(1 754/2 338).The incidence of male was higher than that of female, male accounted for 75.19% (1 758/2 338).Conclusions The infection of human brucellosis in Baotou City shows an increasing trend and widening scope. The incidence of human brucellosis has significant seasonal, regional, gender and age differences.
