Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2017;24(10):113-114
The chief physician MEI Da-zhao uses TCM for treatment of children with incurable diseases, which is accurate in syndrome differentiation and with obvious efficacy. This article selected 4 cases (liver wind syndrome, convulsion disease, cough, palpitations), and carried out in depth analysis.
2.Nutrition support during stress response period after tumor extirpation in middle-aged and elderly patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors
Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2009;17(1):45-48
Objective To investigate the nutrition support during stress response period after tumor ex-tirpation in middle-aged and elderly patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors. Methods Sixty patients who had undergone maxillofacial tumor extirpation were randomly divided into nutrition therapy group (n = 35) and control group ( n = 25 ). Patients in nutrition therapy group received enteral nutritional treatment, while patients in control group fed themselves. The nutritional status of the two groups before operations were evaluated with Concise Nutritional Assessment Indicators of human body measurement and biochemistry were used to evaluate the nutritional conditions. The incidence of post-operational complications and recovery time ( from the operation to discharge) were analyzed. Results The weight and arm muscle circumference in the nutrition therapy group significantly decreased after operations (P <0. 05). However, in the control group, all the nutritional indica-tors except the total lymphocyte count were significantly lower than the baseline levels after operations (P < 0. 05 ) ; particularly, of the average body weight decreased by about 6 kg. The incidence of complications in the nutrition therapy group was significantly lower than that in control group (5. 7% vs. 12. 0% , P <0. 05). The recovery time was significantly longer in the control group than that in the nutrition therapy group [ (28. 62± 2.38) vs. (22. 76± 3. 24) d, P < 0. 01 ]. Conclusion The nutritional support during the stress response period can satisfy the demands of high catabolism after maxillofacial tumor extirpation operation in middle-aged and elderly patients.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
The effects of morphine and its antagnoist naloxone on the VRR were studied. Morphine, at lower concentration (3.5 ? 10~(-7)~10~(-5)M), enhanced the VRR of toad spinal cord. This effect is proportional to its concentration within certain range, even though it depressed the ARR at higher concentration (5.3?10~(-5)-8.08?10~(-5)M). When naloxone was given alone. it did not excite or depress the VRR. While the VRR was enhanced by morphine, naloxone could antagonixe the exciting effect of the former. Experiments showed that naloxone could antagonize the exciting effect on the VRR produced by morphine.
4.THE EFFECT OF SODIUM SELENITE ON DORSAL ROOT POTENTIALS IN ISOLATED SPINAL CORD OF THE TOAD

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
This paper reports the effect of sodium selenite on dorsal root potentials(DR-DRP; VR-DRP)in the isolated toad spinal cord. The results indicate that selenite has a double phase effect or dorsal root potentials, that is, increasing the amplitude first, and then decreasing it. Using sucrose gap technique, we have proved that selenite has a dcoplarization effect on the dorsal roots. Further experiments indicate that spontaneous dorsal root potentials induced by selenite are attributed to its actions on the interneurons activities of the spinal cord. In addition, the mechanism of selenite's effects was discussed.
5.THE EFFECTS OF SODIUM SELENITE ON VENTRAL ROOT REFLEXS IN THE ISOLATED TOAD SPINAL CORD

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
The effects of sodium selenite on ventral root reflexs in the isolated spinal cord of the toad were investigated. It was found that the effects of selenite on ventral root reflexs were excited first and then inhibited gradually. Using sucrose gap technique, we have found that selenite produced a significant depolarization on the rentral roots. Mg~(2+)ion markedly reduced this effect, which indicated that selenite had an importment action on interneurons activities of the spinal cord. Sodium selenite could antagonized the post-tetanus hyperpolarization of the ventral roots, which gave another evidenoe for proving its depolarization. The data described above suggest that the actions of sodium selenite on toad spinal cord are exciting first and then inhibiting gradually.
6.Changes of Serum Complement 3 and Complement 4 in Neonates with Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy and Its Clinical Significance
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(14):-
Objective To detect the changes of serum complement 3(C_3) and C_4 in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) and its effects on non-specific immunological function. Methods Sixty-seven neonates with HIE and 30 normal full-term infants were recruited in the study.According to characteristic of immunological function and severity of HIE,the neonates were divided into 1-3 day group(n=32)and 4-6 day group(n=35).In each group,it was divided into mild group and moderate-severe group. The complement in serum was detected by radial immunodiffusion assay with Behring Nephelometer 100 Analyzer. Results In 1-3 day group, levels of C_3,C_4 in serum were lower than those in control group(P
7.Therapeutic efficacy observation on auricular point sticking therapy for cardiac syndrome X in women
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2020;18(3):203-206
Objective: To observe the clinical effect of auricular point sticking therapy for cardiac syndrome X (CSX) in women. Methods: A total of 64 patients were randomized into two groups by the random number table, with 32 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received conventional treatment for angina, while patients in the treatment group received auricular point sticking therapy on the basis of conventional treatment. After 8 weeks of treatment, the levels of serum estradiol (E2), nitric oxide (NO) and endothelium-1 (ET-1) were compared to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results: After 8 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate and markedly effective rate in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significance (both P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of chest pain and tightness in the control group dropped significantly, and the intra-group comparisons showed statistical significance (both P<0.05); the scores of chest pain and tightness, palpitations, weakness and shortness of breath in the treatment group dropped significantly, and the intra-group comparisons showed statistical significance (all P<0.05); there were significant inter-group differences in the scores of chest pain and tightness. After treatment, the intra-group comparisons of E2, NO and ET-1 contents in the control group showed no statistical significance (all P>0.05), while the E2, NO and ET-1 contents in the treatment group changed significantly after treatment and were significantly different from those in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion: Auricular point sticking on the basis of conventional treatment was effective for CSX in women, and is worth clinical application.

0.05).In 4-6 day group:percentages of CD3+ and CD4+ cells and ratio of CD4+/CD8+ in neonates with HIE were all obviously lower than those in control group(P0.05).The level of percentages of CD3+ and CD4+ cells and ratio of CD4+/CD8+ in 9 subjects with moderate-severe HIE were remarkably higher during recovery stage than those during acute stage(P
