Abstract?AlM: To study the effect of Danggui Shaoyao Powder combined with trabeculectomy and bevacizumab on neovascular glaucoma? METHODS: Neovascular glaucoma patients were enrolled from January 2011 to February 2014 in our hospital, according to the different methods of treatment were divided into observation group given traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine combined with trabeculectomy, and control group received Western medicine combined with trabeculectomy. Syndrome of Inappropriate Antidiuretic Hormone Secretion (SIADH) was a common complica-tion of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Recent studies have suggested that the origin of this disease is related to seceration of tumor cells and application of medecine. The inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion can lead to disturbance of metabolism of water and sodium, resulting in hyponatremia. Because the symp-toms are atypical, the diagnosis is difficult. Many cases are misdiagnosed or misseddiagnosed. The primary tumor must be treated and the restriction of water intake is the main and effective method to deal with SIADH. Prognosis of SCLC patients with SIADH is poor in most reports.

Objective:To observe whether murine bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)implantation improves the survival of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)-bearing mice,and to investigate whether MSCs can differentiate to hepatocytes in HCC microenvironment in a mouse model of orthotopic HCC and its effects on tumor cells.Methods:Murine bone morrow MSCs were obtained through adherent culture method combined with magnetic cell sorting CD45-,CD11b-cells,labeled with CFSE in vitro.Phenotypes of MSCs were analyzed by flow cytometry.A murine model of orthotopic HCC was induced by intrahepatic injection of 5?105 murine H22 hepatoma cells in a BALB/c mouse.In this experiment,twelve BALB/c mice were randomly divided into MSCs implantation and saline administration groups on the 7th day after establishment of orthotropic HCC.CFSE labeled MSCs were injected into tumor and/or normal liver tissue in MSCs implantation group.The life span of HCC-bearing mice was observed.After three weeks,albumin was determined by immunohistochemistry.The livers of HCC-bearing mice were observed by light microscopy.Results:In MSCs group,the mean survival time was 25 days(95%Confidence interval:22-28 d),while,in the control group,mean survival time was 21 days(95%CI:20-23 d).However,the statistical difference was not obvious between the two groups(P=0.0713).It showed that the CFSE labeled cells mainly localized in the border of tumor,also a few in the tumor bed,and expressed albumin.Interestingly,there was a larger area of necrosis in the tumor bed,compared with that in the controls.Conclusion:It can be concluded that MSCs not only could engraft in livers of carcinoma-bearing BALB/c mice,but also could differentiate to hepatocyte-like cell.At the same time,MSCs might induce tumor cells necrosis.Further mechanism need to be studied.

Objective To discuss the possibility of application of embedded system to medical equipment. Methods The principle and actuality of embedded system were explained, and a concrete example was presented. Results The application of the embedded system to medical equipment reduced the cost of medical equipment, and increased the realtime capability, reliability and longevity of medical equipment. Conclusion More and more embedded systems are being applied to medical equipment. Medical equipment based on embedded system have been developed ceaselessly.

Objective To analyze reasons of common malfunctions of air compressor and the handling during the mechanical ventilation for elderly patients. Methods 87 cases of malfunctions of air compressor of ventilators from June 2005 to June 2007 were analyzed. Results unsteady pressure:31cases(account for 36%); low pressure: 28 cases (account for 32%), startup failure: 15 cases (account for 18%); dead halt: 13 cases (account for 14%). Conclusion Well grasping principles of the air compressor of ventilators, and timely & correct analysis of malfunctions reasons play key roles in solving all kinds of malfunctions associated with the air compressor of ventilators.

Objective:The purpose is to observe the clinical results of the continuous douche and negative pressure drainage technic in treating the large hypodermal infected lacuna. Methods: The simple mini-size perfusion cannula for continuous douche and negative pressure drainage was handmade and used on 23 patients suffering from large hypodermal infected lacuna. Results: All of the 23 patients achieved primary healing from large hypodermal infected lacuna. Conclusion:The use of self-made mini-size perfusion cannula for continuous douche accompanied with negative pressure drainage is a good method to treat large hypodermal infected lacuna. It is very economic、efficient and easy.

Objective To investigate the expression of sex hormone receptor (SHR) in meningioma and its relationships to the origin of tumor central artery.Methods The expressions of sex hormone receptors, including progesterone receptor (PR), androgen receptor (AR) and estrogen receptor (ER) in 43 cases with meningioma were detected by immunohistochemically streptavidin-peroxidase (SP) method. These data combined with the characteristics of digital subtraction angiography (DSA) were analyzed.Results The expression of ER in meningioma was not related to the origin of tumor central artery.
