1.Advance of the relationship of iron deficiency and pulmonary arterial hypertension
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2014;(9):1002-1005
Pulmonary hypertension has now become a common diseases threaten to human health .There are many factors that can cause pulmonary hypertension , such as heredity, immune injury, inflammation and endothelial function damage , etc.In recent years, studies have found that patients with pulmonary hypertension commonly have the phenomenon of iron deficiency , and intravenous iron agent can improve that , but the specific mechanism is unclear .Iron in the human body mainly is controlled by a protein called hepcidin, it inhibits iron flow from the gastrointestinal to the blood .Thus, intravenous iron administration can provide new options for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension .This paper reviews the progress of the iron deficiency and pulmonary hypertension .
2.Value of Enhancement Patterns for Characterization of Focal Hepatic Lesions
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of the enhancement patterns for characterizing various focal hepatic lesions (FHL). Methods Forty-seven patients (50 lesions) were included into the study. The morphologic features and the dynamic enhancement patterns of FHL were observed in the early arterial phase, late arterial phase and portal venous phase. The degree of FHL enhancement was analyzed by calculating the contrast-to-noise ratio. Results 70% of the HCCs presented “fast-filling and rapid-washout” feature; 67% of the cholangiocarcinomas showed slight enhancement in arterial phase, and 33.3% had delayed enhancement on portal venous phase; All hemangiomas presented peripheral nodular enhancement in arterial phase, which then demonstrating centropedal “push-on” enhancement in portal venous phase; Hepatic abscesses mainly presented a slightly enhanced rim around the lesion with fibrous septa inside and an edematous zone outside. Conclusion The enhancement pattern and the dynamic evolution of FHL enhancement had a great diagnostic value for different FHL by using MRI 3D-VIBE sequence.
3.Preparation and Antibacterial Effect of Polyamine Cotton Fiber Loaded with Cu~(2+)
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
Objective To study the method for preparing the polyamine cotton fiber loaded with Cu2+ and to test the antibacterial effect of the cotton fiber. Methods The natural cotton fiber was treated through basification, epoxygenation, alkene amination and Cu2+ adsorption. 8 kinds of microorganisms were used for the bacteriostasis test. Results The modified fibers showed a good antimicrobial effect to gram-negative bacteria and the bacteriostasis value achieved 6. The minimal sterilization concentrations of the Cu2+-diethylene triamine cotton fiber, Cu2+-triethylene tetramine cotton fiber and Cu2+-tetraethylene pentamine cotton fiber were 12 mg/ml, 14 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml respectively. The antibacterial process of the cotton fiber included two parts, adsorption and sterilization. The acting site was on the cell membrane. A positive relationship was seen between the concentration of antibacterial cotton fiber and the dissolved rate of bacteria. Conclusion The metal ion fiber shows an excellent performance of broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, especially to gram-negative bacteria and may be the "contact killing" is the acting manner of the antibacterial cotton fiber.

Objective To understand the prevalence of disinfectant-resistant gene qacA/B in the clinical strains of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) .Methods A total of 123 clinical consecutive MRSA strains were collected for PCR assay to detect qacA/B gene and mecA gene .Results The qacA/B gene was identified in 19 (15 .4% ) of the 123 MRSA strains . The mecA gene was positive in 89 .4% (110/123) of the MRSA strains .Conclusions The disinfectant-resistant gene qacA/B is prevalent in the hospital-acquired MRSA strains .Monitoring measures should be strengthened for appropriate selection of disinfectants in clinical practice .

0.05). Conclusion XST could be safety and effective to HBS, the mechanism of which is obviously decreasing platelet face activation, inhibiting platelet adhesion and aggregation, decreasing blood viscosity, improving microcirculation and inhibiting thrombosis. XST is much better than Aspirin in improving traditional Chinese syndrom.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
Objective To establish a method for the isolation and preparation of forsythoside B and acteoside reference substances from Lamiophlomis rotata. Methods Forsythoside B and acteoside in L.rotata were isolated and purified by macroporous resin,Sephadex column, and preparative HPLC.Results Analysis with HPLC showed the content of the prepared acteoside and forsythoside B reached to 98.93 and 99.91%,respectively.Conclusion This method is effective for the high purity of prepared acteoside and forsythoside B.It can be used as reference substances for the qualitative and quantitative analyses of Chinese herbal medicine.

Objective To explore the significance of serum cytokine interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) ,interleukin-4(IL ) ,transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1) ,interleukin-9 (IL-9) ,interleukin-17 (IL-17) in detection of youth first-episode depression .Methods Ninety cases of youth first-episode depression as the experimental group were equally divided into 3 groups according to different disease courses(<6 months ,6 months to 2 years ,>2 years)and other 30 normal persons served as the control group .The levels of serum cytokines were measured by ELISA .The level of each cytokine and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) score were per-formed the Spearman correlation analysis .Results The IL-9 level in the 6 months to 2 years group and > 2 years group was high-er than that in the control group (P< 0 .05);the IFN-γlevel was negatively correlated with psychic anxiety (P<0 .05);the IL-9 level was positively correlated with the somatic anxiety and systemic symptoms (P<0 .05);the IL-17 level was positively correla-ted with the depressive mood and suicide (P<0 .05);the IFN-γlevel was positively correlated with difficulty falling asleep ,early a-wakening ,work and interest in the 6 months to 2 years group ,while positively correlated with somatic anxiety (P<0 .05);the IFN-γ level was positively correlated with depressive mood and block in the >2 years group(P<0 .05);the IL-4 level was positively correlated with the depressive mood (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Different cytokines play different roles in youth first-episode depres-sion ,cytokines may involve in the occurrence and development of depression .

Objective To evaluate the cefoxitin screening test in detecting(MRSA)with the real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)for detecting mecA gene as the golden standard. Methods Staphylococcus aureus strains iso-lated from various bacterial infection specimens were collected, which were amplified by RT-PCR and detected by the cefoxitin screening test respectively. The results were compared. Results In 121strains of MRSA,66 strains carrying mecA gene were detec-ted by RT-PCR(P >0.05),accounting for 54.55%(66/121).There was no statsitcal difference in the detection results between the cefoxitin screening test and RT-PCR.The sensitivity of the cefoxitin screening test was 93.93%,the specificity was 81.82%,the positive predictive value was 84.93% and negative predictive value was 91.83%.Conclusion The RT-PCR technique can accurate-ly and rapidly detect MRSA.
