2.Relationship between genetic polymorphism of dopamine receptor and schizophrenia and its forensic significance.
Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;30(3):202-206
Schizophrenia is a common but complex mental disorder affected by multiple factors. Forensic psychiatric assessment of schizophrenia involves evaluations on many aspects, but there is no effective biological identification index for schizophrenia. Researches indicate that dysfunction of dopaminergic neurotransmission plays an important role in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia. Our study reviews the classification, genetic structure of dopamine receptors and the recent pertinent studies between the dopamine receptors and schizophrenia and its forensic significance.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2009;21(3):159-162
Objective To investigate the proliferation inhibition and apoptosis induction effect of thalidomide(Thal) and its joint effect with 5-Fu on MGC-803 cell line. Methods The morphological changes of MGC-803 cells with AO/EB stain were observed under fluorescence microscope. The proliferation inhibition effeet was evaluated with MTT. The apoptosis induction effect was determined by FAM. Results The results of MTr array were as below: the difference was significant between Thai groups of 25 mg/L or above concentration and the control group (P<0.05), 5-Fu of all testing concentrations showed significant difference compared with the control gToup(P<0.01). For combined groups with the same concentration of 25 mg/L 5-Fu,combined groups showed distinct difference from the corresponding 5-Fu group (P<0.01), but two combined groups showed no distinct difference with each other (P>0.05). For combined groups with the same concentration of 5-Fu 12.5 mg/L, 5-Fu plus 50 mg/L or 100 mg/L Thai showed no distinct difference from 5-Fu group of 25 mg/L(P>0.05). With FAM study, all test groups showed significant difference compared with the control group (P<0.01). There was also significant difference between two test groups arbitrarily (P<0.01).Conclusion Both Thai and 5-Fu could inhibit the proliferation and induce the apoptosis of MGC-803 cells. The effect is reinforced with the combination significantly. Combination with Thai could decrease the concentration of 5-Fu but have the similar effect.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the contents determination of cholic acid, hyodeoxycholic acid and deoxy-cholate acid in Naoxueshuan tablet. METHODS:HPLC-ELSD was performed on the column of SHIMADZU VP-ODS C18 with mo-bile phase of acetonitrile-0.2% formic acid(gradient elution)column temperature was 30 ℃,at flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,and the vol-ume injection was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 0.039 84-0.398 4 mg for cholic acid,0.032 064-0.320 64 mg for hyode-oxycholic acid and 0.0339 52-0.339 52 μg for deoxycholate acid(r≥0.999 0),and the logarithm value of volume injection and peak area showed good linear relationship;RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%;recoveries were 101.33%-104.05%(RSD=0.95%,n=6),95.56%-101.38%(RSD=2.54%,n=6)and 96.07%-97.12%(RSD=0.44%,n=6),re-spectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple and accurate, and suitable for the contents determination of cholic acid,hyode-oxycholic acid and deoxycholate acid in Naoxueshuan tablet.
5.Preparation and Antibacterial Effect of Polyamine Cotton Fiber Loaded with Cu~(2+)
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
Objective To study the method for preparing the polyamine cotton fiber loaded with Cu2+ and to test the antibacterial effect of the cotton fiber. Methods The natural cotton fiber was treated through basification, epoxygenation, alkene amination and Cu2+ adsorption. 8 kinds of microorganisms were used for the bacteriostasis test. Results The modified fibers showed a good antimicrobial effect to gram-negative bacteria and the bacteriostasis value achieved 6. The minimal sterilization concentrations of the Cu2+-diethylene triamine cotton fiber, Cu2+-triethylene tetramine cotton fiber and Cu2+-tetraethylene pentamine cotton fiber were 12 mg/ml, 14 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml respectively. The antibacterial process of the cotton fiber included two parts, adsorption and sterilization. The acting site was on the cell membrane. A positive relationship was seen between the concentration of antibacterial cotton fiber and the dissolved rate of bacteria. Conclusion The metal ion fiber shows an excellent performance of broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, especially to gram-negative bacteria and may be the "contact killing" is the acting manner of the antibacterial cotton fiber.

35) and the third strategy of providing diagnosis to those tested positive at screenings in mid-term pregnancy could, respectively, lead to the diagnosis of 0.93 and 1.47 cases of DS per 10 thousand pregnant women, but they could also induce, respectively, 1.58 and 0.28 cases of miscarriage of normal fetuses due to diagnosis procedures. The costs of one DS diagnosis were, respectively, 108890.98 yuan and 443683.11 yuan. Conclusion Taking into consideration both cost-effectiveness and safety factors, priority ought to be given to the third strategy.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1993;0(03):-
Objective To study the expression of BMI-l gene in children with acute leukemia and its clinical significance. Methods The clinical specimens of 46 children with acute leukemia who were diagnosed lately in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University and other hospitals in Zhengzhou from Jul.1,2008 to Apr.30,2009 were collected, while peripheral blood specimens of 30 healthy children were collected as control group. With the guardians′ informed consent, the experiment was approved through the hospital ethics committee. The level of BMI-1 mRNA′s expression was tested using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),while data were analyzed through the application of SPSS 12.0 statistical software. Results 1.The level of BMI-l gene′s expression in children with acute leukemia was significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05),after complete remission,BMI-1 mRNA was not detected in the 2 groups;4.Compared with the complete remission group, expression of BMI-1 mRNA in the untreated group and the recurrence group was significantly higher(P0.05).Conclusions BMI-1 gene was highly expressed in children with acute leukemia, and the level of the gene expression in patients of complete remission normalized, which suggests that the gene may be involved in the occurrence and the development process of leukemia;therefore,it is possible to regard the gene as a molecular marker to evaluate the development, relapse and prognosis of the patients with acute leukemia.
9.Treatment and analysis of risk factors of suprachoroidal hemorrhage induced by intraocular surgery
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(8):739-742
Background Suprachoroidal hemorrhage (SCH)is a rare but devastating complication of ophthalmic surgery, and it is crucial to be aware of the risk factors and select effective treatment. Objective Present study was to assess the treatment and risk factors of SCH induced by intraocular surgery. Methods Retrospective case series were carried out to investigate the clinical data of 15 eyes from 15 patients with SCH at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The risk factors of SCH were analyzed.Written informed consent was obtained before any medical examination and treatment.SCH was occurred in 10 eyes during intraocular surgery, while the SCH was diagnosed in other 5 eyes 1-3 days after operation.Surgical drainage was carried out in 8 eyes,of which 3 eyes combined with vitrectomy besides surgical drainage and other 5 eyes were treated with medication alone. Results SCH was completely removed and absorbed in 12 eyes. The visual acuity was improved in 6 eyes, unchanged in 6 eyes and decreased in 3 eyes.Nine eyes complicated with retinal detachment and reattached in 6 eyes after treatment.Seven eyes combined with hypermyopia,6 eyes combined with glaucoma, and 1 eye was aphakia.Four patients combined with hypertension, and 2 patients had diabetes mellitus. Conclusions SCH induced by intraocular surgery develops rapidly and violently, and it can result in vision loss without effective treatment.Suturing surgical incision immediately, applying hypertonic agents and sclerotomy drainage are the urgent approaches to treat SCH.Medicines and/or sclerotomy could be optional according to the amount of bleeding and other ocular complication. The risk factors of SCH include myopia, glaucoma and the instantly dropping of intraocular pressure.
