3.Inoculation of murine bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells induces tumor necrosis in mouse with orthotopic hepatocellular carcinoma
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To observe whether murine bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)implantation improves the survival of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)-bearing mice, and to investigate whether MSCs can differentiate to hepatocytes in HCC microenvironment in a mouse model of orthotopic HCC and its effects on tumor cells. Methods:Murine bone morrow MSCs were obtained through adherent culture method combined with magnetic cell sorting CD45-,CD11b-cells,labeled with CFSE in vitro.Phenotypes of MSCs were analyzed by flow cytometry.A murine model of orthotopic HCC was induced by intrahepatic injection of 5?105 murine H22 hepatoma cells in a BALB/c mouse. In this experiment, twelve BALB/c mice were randomly divided into MSCs implantation and saline administration groups on the 7th day after establishment of orthotropic HCC.CFSE labeled MSCs were injected into tumor and/or normal liver tissue in MSCs implantation group. The life span of HCC-bearing mice was observed. After three weeks, albumin was determined by immunohistochemistry. The livers of HCC-bearing mice were observed by light microscopy. Results:In MSCs group, the mean survival time was 25 days(95%Confidence interval:22-28 d),while,in the control group, mean survival time was 21 days(95%CI:20-23 d).However, the statistical difference was not obvious between the two groups(P=0.0713).It showed that the CFSE labeled cells mainly localized in the border of tumor, also a few in the tumor bed,and expressed albumin.Interestingly, there was a larger area of necrosis in the tumor bed, compared with that in the controls. Conclusion:It can be concluded that MSCs not only could engraft in livers of carcinoma-bearing BALB/c mice, but also could differentiate to hepatocyte-like cell.At the same time,MSCs might induce tumor cells necrosis.Further mechanism need to be studied.
4.Sodium hyaluronate injection immediately versus 2 weeks after arthroscopic debridement for knee osteoarthritis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(35):6375-6380
BACKGROUND:Sodium hyaluronate injection after arthroscopic debridement of knee osteoarthritis can reduce postoperative pain and improve joint function, but there is a controversy on the time for the hyaluronate injection after arthroscopic debridement of knee osteoarthritis.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the time of hyaluronate injection after arthroscopic debridement of knee osteoarthritis, and to compare recent rehabilitation effect of knee sodium hyaluronate injection for knee function after
arthroscopic debridement of knee osteoarthritis between injection just after knee arthroscopy and injection 2 weeks after knee arthroscopy.
METHODS:The clinical data of 100 knee osteoarthritis patients undergoing sodium hyaluronate injection
immediately and 2 weeks after arthroscopic debridement were analyzed with prospective randomized control ed trial method, and the preoperative visual analog scale score, Lysholm score, 6 weeks postoperative visual analog scale score, 3 months postoperative visual analog scale score, and 3 months postoperative Lysholm score were recorded. The effects of recently rehabilitation of knee joint after surgery in two groups were compared.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There was no significant difference in postoperative visual analog scale score between immediate injection group (6.52±2.38) and 2 weeks postoperative injection group (6.54±2.37). The preoperative Lysholm score in the immediate injection group (43.44±16.18) was lower than that in the 2 weeks postoperative injection group (51.12±16.3). The 6 weeks postoperative visual analog scale score in the immediate injection group (3.2±2.46) was significantly higher than that in the 2 weeks postoperative injection group (5.1±2.68). The 3 months postoperative visual analog scale score/Lysholm score in the immediate injection group (2.72±2.70)/(80.58±15.63) were significantly higher than those in the 2 weeks postoperative injection group (4.72±3.07)/(64.96±21.68). The results indicate that sodium hyaluronate injection immediately after arthroscopic debridement of knee osteoarthritis is more favorable for recent rehabilitation.

Methods: To make some improvements without changing the structure and performance of existing infant incubators. Results: Built-in disinfection device is designed to overcome the difficult operation, poor effect and inconvenience in use. Conclusion:It has been awarded“the state utility model”for its safety and convenience (patent no:ZL200520117573.9).
6.Analysis on Operation Selection to Myomectomy of Child-bearing Period (Report of 200 Cases)
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2013;(7):886-888
[Objective] To compare the clinical cure effects of different operations on myomectomy, and screen out best clinical treatment for hysteromyoma in child-bearing period. [Method] Trace back and analyse 200 cases of such patients, divide them into laparotomy group, laparoscope group, vaginal group and UAE group under different therapies, compare cure effect analysis. [Result] On operation time, operation bleeding and evacuation time, the UAE group ,vaginal and laparoscope groups were successively better than the laparotomy group; but on post-operation medication rate and average in-hospital days, the UAE group was successively less than laparoscope, vaginal and laparotomy groups. On complication rate, the laparoscope was successively less than UAE, vaginal and laparotomy groups.[Conclusion] 4 therapies have respective advantages, UAE and laparoscope myomectomy have little trauma, quick re-covery and reliable cure effect, however, laparotomy can't be completely replaced owing to its wide indications.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(07):-
Objective To analyze reasons of common malfunctions of air compressor and the handling during the mechanical ventilation for elderly patients. Methods 87 cases of malfunctions of air compressor of ventilators from June 2005 to June 2007 were analyzed. Results unsteady pressure:31cases(account for 36%); low pressure: 28 cases (account for 32%), startup failure: 15 cases (account for 18%); dead halt: 13 cases (account for 14%). Conclusion Well grasping principles of the air compressor of ventilators, and timely & correct analysis of malfunctions reasons play key roles in solving all kinds of malfunctions associated with the air compressor of ventilators.
10.Status and Controversy on Skin-Sparing Mastectomy for Breast Cancer
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(03):-
Objective To review the status and controversy on skin-sparing mastectomy (SSM) for breast cancer. Methods The pertinent literatures about SSM published recently to comprehend its relevant techniques and improvements in comparison with non-skin-sparing mastectomy (NSSM) were analyzed and also the safety of SSM by analyzing the relationships between SSM and ductal carcinoma in situ, restrict nipple-areola complex reservation, and postmastectomy radiotherapy were discussed. Results Skin-sparing mastectomy combined with immediate breast reconstruction is a safe operative modality for T1/T2 tumor without skin adhesion, multicentric tumors, and ductal carcinoma in situ. What is more, it does not defer adjuvant therapy. However, it may be prudent to reserve the nipple-areola complex only for peripherally located T1/T2 tumors and some other less serious invasion degree. Since the effect of SSM and immediate breast reconstruction on postmastectomy radiotherapy is confusing, there are still controversies on whether the patients who have already been operated should take radiotherapy. Conclusion SSM is a safe operative modality for selected patients with breast cancer, and delayed reconstruction may be a good choice for patients who would take postmastectomy radiotherapy.
