On the basis of status and technical characteristics of rehabilitation training instrument in China, this article summarized theconcept and significance of reliability-based design, introduced the technical target of rehabilitation training instruments and the procedureof building a reliability model. The future prospect of applying reliability-based design to rehabilitation training instruments is also discussed.

Objective: To investigate the effects of histone deacetylase inhibitor trichostatin A (TSA) on radiosensitivity of human cervical cancer cell line HeLa under hypoxia condition. Methods: Under hypoxia condition, the HeLa cells were treated with different concentrations of TSA for 12, 24, 48 and 72 h, respectively. The survival rate of HeLa cells was detected by MTT assay. The half inhibitory concentration (IC50) and IC10 values for TSA were calculated. The radiosensitivity in HeLa cells treated with TSA (IC10) for 24 h under hypoxia condition was detected by colony formation assay. The expressions of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) proteins were measured by immunocytochemistry. Results: The survival rate of HeLa cells induced by TSA and hypoxia was decreased in a concentration and time-dependent manner. The radiosensitivity of HeLa cells under hypoxia condition was increased by treatment with TSA (IC10) for 24 h (P <0.05). The expressions of HIF-1α and VEGF proteins were higher in HeLa cells exposed to hypoxia than that in HeLa cells exposed to normoxia. The expressions of HIF-1α and VEGF proteins in HeLa cells under hypoxia condition were decreased by treatment with TSA (IC10) for 24 h. Conclusion: TSA can significantly enhance the radiosentivity of HeLa cells under hypoxia condition. This effect may be related with the down-regulation of HIF-1α and VEGF protein expression. [Objective]To statistically analyze the citations of papers in "The Orthopedic Journal of China"published during 2004~2006.[Method]Using the biblio metric method to calculate the citation rate,number of citations per paper,types of citations,language-based citation number,Price index and self-citation rate.[Result]During 2004~2006,the average citation rate was 94.32% and the number of citations per paper was 6.31.The number of citations in English was significantly higher than that in Chinese or other foreign languages.Meanwhile,the citation rate of papers published in journals was markedly higher than that of those published in books and other materials.The Price index and self-citation rate were 71.48% and 8.74%,respectively.[Conclusion]"The Orthopedic Journal of China"is shown to be a hight professional academic journal in China,with good novelty citation,high level of authors' education and extensive social influence.

Objective To investigate the effect of astragalus injection on serum oxygen free radical, TGF-β1 and vascular endothelial function in diabetes mellitus.Methods 120 cases of type 2 diabetic patients were selected from December 2010 to December 2014 as the object of study, 2 groups of patients underwent diabetic education and diet, exercise therapy, the control group were treated with metformin hydrochloride tablets, and the observation group were combined with astragalus injection, the contents of SOD, MDA and GSH-PX were compared between the 2 groups.The serum levels of TGF-β1, VEGF, ANG-1 and AOPP were compared between 2 groups.Results After treatment, comared with control group, the serum MDA and AOPP were higher, the GSH-PX and SOD were higher; the TGF-β1 were lower; the VEGF and ANG-1 were higher in observation group ( P <0.05).Conclusion Astragalus injection could improve the function of vascular endothelium in patients with diabetes, reduce the transforming growth factor β1, improving the free radical aggregation state.

Objective To discuss the efficacy and safety of decitabine plus aclacinomycin/cytarabine/ G-CSF (CAG) regimen in the treatment of patients with relapsed refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Methods 17 cases with relapsed refractory AML were collected.They were given decitabine (25 mg/d,d1-5) plus CAG regimen (aclacinomycin 20 mg/d,d3-6; cytarabine 10 mg/m2,d3-9; G-CSF 400 μg/d,d0-9).Results After one course treatment by decitabine plus CAG regimen,10 patients (58.8 ％) achieved complete response (CR),1 patient (5.9 ％) achieved partial response (PR) and 6 patients (35.3 ％) displayed no response (NR),the overall response rate was 64.7 ％ (11/17).For karyotyping of chromosomal abnormalities,only 1 case (100 ％) in CR showed normal karyotype.8 cases (66.7 ％) in CR,1 case (8.3 ％) in PR showed medium karyotype.1 case (25.0 ％) in CR showed bad karyotype.Statistical analysis revealed that there were significant differences among different groups (P ＜ 0.05).Follow-up to January 31,2013,15 patients survived,2 patients died early.The median overall survival was 67 d (14-307 d),and the median relapse-free survival was 47 d (14-152 d).Conclusions The combined regimen of decitabine and CAG in the treatment of patients with relapsed refractory AML has a high response rate,little non-hematologic side effects and good tolerance.

Objective To summarize the experience of examination and treatment of 237 cases of eye diseases with portable slit lamp in earthquake area of Dujiangyan, Sichuan Province, from May 14 to July 8, 2008. Methods 237 cases of the eye diseases were examined and diagnosed. With portable slit lamp, the foreign bodies in 25 cases of conjunctival foreign body and 62 cases of corneal foreign body were removed. Results Of the 237 cases, 39 were diagnosed as conjunctivitis, 25 as conjunctival foreign body, 13 as pterygium, 27 as keratitis, 11 as corneal ulcer, 62 as cornea foreign body, 24 as cornea injury, 7 as hyphema, 16 as iridocyclitis, 5 as glaucoma and 8 as cataract. With portable slit lamp, the foreign bodies in 25 cases of conjunctival foreign body and 62 cases of corneal foreign body were removed in one lump with no corneal perforation or infection. Follow-up examination showed that the wounded cornea repaired pretty well. Conclusions With portable slit lamp, ophthalmologists can not only make a precise diagnosis for the eye diseases in the anterior segment, but also are able to timely to remove foreign bodies in conjunctiva and cornea. Portable slit lamp is a useful and convenient instrument for ophthalmologists in the field of earthquake disaster relief.

Aim To investigate the protective effects and mechanisms of a 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO) inhibitor zileuton on the acute lung injury (ALI) induced by focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (CIRI) in rats.Methods The right middle cerebral artery in rats were occluded by inserting a thread through internal carotid artery for 2 h,and then reperfused for 24 h.Zileuton(10,50 mg?kg-1) was orally administered 2h before ischemia and 0,5,10 h after reperfusion.Morphological changes of the lung tissue were observed by hematoxylin-eosin (HE)staining technique. Lung wet/dry weight ratios were detected to observe the water content of the lung. The mRNA of cysteinyl leukotrienes recepor1 (CysLTR1) was detected by RT-PCR. The content of Leukotriene B4 (LTB4) in serum was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. The expression of TNF-? protein was measured by immunohistochemical technique. The activities of MPO, T-AOC, and Na+,K+-ATPase from the lung tissue were measured by biochemical method.Results With the use of zileuton 10, 50 mg?kg-1,the pathological changes of the lung were alleviated. and the wet/dry weight in the lung tissue was reduced(P

OBJECTIVE To study air disinfection methods in unremitting operating room,we compared effect of using trioxide disinfector(used in operating room "A") with YKX/G100-type medical air disinfection and purification machine(used in operating room "B") in disinfecting air inside unremitting operating room.METHODS To observe the killing effect on air natural bacteria of the two methods,we used natural sedimentation monitoring the different stages sampling before and after sterilization and at the beginning stage of the unremitting operation.RESULTS Both the two methods could achieve the air natural bacteria eradication rate above 85%.The air bacteria colony number obviously upgraded after the beginning of unremitting operation in operating rooms "A";but in operating rooms "B",the number fell-off slowly.CONCLUSIONS The medical air disinfection and purification machine can shorten the interval of operations,it is the better approach of continuous air disinfection in solving the unremitting operating room with personnel existence.

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD) is a common chronic respiratory disease in preterm infants.Severe BPD(sBPD) features a high mortality rate, while for survivors, sBPD usually results in developmental retardation of the nervous system, cardiovascular complications, and long-term respiratory problems that affect the quality of life.At present, there are no effective treatment measures, and comprehensive treatments are adeptly more commonly, including nutritional support, fluid restriction, respiratory support, glucocorticoids, pulmonary surfactants and so on.Yet the effectiveness and safety of these treatments are still controversial.The article reviewed the current status of sBPD management.
