Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2015;(2):3-6
Objective To study metabolism of glucose and lipidin patients with hyperandrogenism and analyze the risk of their cardiovascular disease. Methods Object of study:firstly, choosed 118 cases of women of reproductive age from April 2013 to July 2014.Then detected their serum Testosterone (T),Estradiol (E2),fasting plasma Glucose (FPG),fasting plasma insu-lin (FINS),triglycerides (TG),total cholesterol (TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low-density lipopro-tein cholesterol (LDL-C),lipoprotein (a),body mass index (BMI).Finally, divided them into different groups and analyzed the results using SOSS19.0 software and two independent samples t-test statistical method. Results BMI,T,FPG,HOMA-IR and TG were significantly more higher (P <0.05)in the group of hyperandr-ogenism than in the group of normal con-trol.However,E2,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C and LP(a)had no significant difference (P >0.05)in statistics between the group of hyperandrogenism and the group of normal control.Hyperandr-ogenism group was divided into PCOS group and non-PCOS group according to etiology. In those two groups,BMI,T,E2,FPG,HOMA-IR,TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C and LP(a)had no significant difference in statistics (P >0.05).According to the definition of obesity adults in china,78 patients with hyperan-drogenism were divided into 2 group, one with BMI normal (BMI<24 kg/m2 )and the other group with overweight and obe-sity (BMI≥24 kg/m2 ).In group with overweight and obesity,BMI,T,FPG,HOMA-IR,TG,TC,LDL-C and LP (a)were significantly higher than the group with BMI normal (P <0.05),moreover,HDL-C was significantly lower than the group normal (P <0.05).E2 had no significant difference in statistics between the two groups (P >0.05).Conclusion Investiga-tion of the relation between hyp-erandrogenism and metabolism of glucose and lipid, can not only practically guide life style and drug therapy, but also prevent cardio-vascular disease.
3.Gastrin releasing peptide in chronic stress and tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(12):894-897
Some hormones and glucocorticoid in chronic strss feedback are demonstrated to have significant effects on cancer progression.Recently,as a typical neuropeptide, gastrin releasing peptide (GRP) could mediate chronic stress to promote carcinogenesis through four conceivable mechanisms, such as regulating circadian rhythms, suppressing immunity system, acting as a mitogenic effect and mediating cancer-related psychiatric disorders,et al.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(1):35-38
The present study used the experimental patterns of Go/No Go and no motion contingent negative variation (CNV) task into the research in order to study whether the CNV can express the implication of expectation. Through comparing the CNV under different conditions, the data collected from experiment showed that the key to evoked CNV was close to the warning signal and command signal. Whether the command signal was related to the task would impact on the amplitude of the CNV. This characteristics responses to the subjects' expectation. On this basis, CNV can be used as the electrophysiological index for the reflection of expected value in the conditions of this experiment.

Objective:To investigate the effects of deguelin on the viability and apoptosis of Neuro-2A ( N2A) cells. Methods:The cell viability of N2A cells with the density of 5 × 104 ·ml-1 on the time points of 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours after 1 × 10 -8 mol ·L-1 deguelin treatment using CCK-8 kits was determined, and that on the time point of 48 hours after 0, 1 × 10 -11 , 1 × 10 -10 , 1 × 10 -9 , 1 × 10 -8 , 1 × 10 -7 , 1 × 10 -6 or 5 × 10 -4 mol·L-1 deguelin treatment was also detected. The activity of caspase 3 was deter-mined in N2A cells treated by 2 × 10 -8 mol·L-1 deguelin for 24 hours. Results:N2A cells with the density of 5 × 104 ·ml-1 reached the peak level in the growth curve 48 hours after the incubation in DMEM medium with 10% fetal bovine serum. The cell viability of N2A cells was decreased after the treatment of 1 × 10 -8 mol·L-1 deguelin for 24-72 hours in a time-dependant manner or after the treatment of 1 × 10 -8 ~1 × 10 -6 mol·L-1 deguelin for 48 hours in a dose-dependant manner (P<0. 05) with IC50 of 1. 6 × 10 -8 mol ·L-1 . The activity of caspase 3 was increased after the treatment of 2 × 10 -8 mol·L-1 deguelin for 24 hours, which was 5. 6-fold of that in the control group. Conclusion: Cell viability of N2A cells is inhibited by deguelin in a time- and dose-dependent manner, which may be related to the activity increase of caspase 3.
