1.Network values: theoretical construct and preliminary development of questionnaire
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2012;21(6):564-566
ObjectiveTo explore the theoretical construct of network values and design the network values questionnaire.MethodsThis research was to design the network values questionnaire based on an open-ended inventory survey, overviews of former studies and counseling of experts.Through stratified sampling,832 college students were investigated by the network questionnaire. The data were examined by item analysis, factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis.ResultsThe network values was a multi-dimensional construct which had three factors. The three factors cumulative total explained variance was 50.719%,52.545% and 50.510%.The questionnaire's internal consistency reliability was 0.931 and 0.809-0.874 for the three subscales. The questionnaire's split-half reliability was 0.902 and 0.772-0.864 for the three subscales.ConclusionThe theoretical construct of network values is rational. The questionnaire has good reliability and validity.
2.Effects of arsenic exposure during pregnancy on maternal and neonatal health: a review
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2023;35(7):591-595
Arsenic is a toxic metalloid, which may enter the human body through a variety of routes, including drinking water, food, and air. Previous studies have shown that arsenic exposure during pregnancy may cause pregnancy complications and adverse pregnancy outcomes, and maternal arsenic levels correlate with neonatal neurodevelopment and adult health. However, the negative impact of arsenic exposure during pregnancy on maternal and child health has not been widely accepted because of inconsistent study conclusions and unclear mechanisms. Based on international and national studies pertaining to the effect of arsenic exposure during pregnancy on maternal and child health during the period between 2007 and 2022, this review describes the influencing factors and biomarkers of arsenic exposure during pregnancy, associations of arsenic exposure during pregnancy with pregnancy complications and adverse pregnancy outcomes and impact of arsenic exposure during pregnancy on neonatal neurodevelopment, and discusses the mechanisms underlying negative health effects caused by arsenic exposure during pregnancy, so as to provide the evidence for assessing the hazards of arsenic exposure during pregnancy and formulating the control strategy.

At present, there are some problems about teaching acupuncture and massage elective course in colleges of western medicine, which are caused by student's specialty, thinking mode and the teaching material of elective course. To improve the quality of the teaching in acupuncture and massage,it is necessary to reorientate the teaching intention, adjust the course plan.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2013;29(9):798-800
The clinical data of patients with hypoparathyroidism accompanied by elevated and normal muscle enzymes were analyzed retrospectively. The results showed that there were no differences in age, gender, pathogenesis, etiology, and parathormone level between groups with elevated muscle enzyme and normal muscle enzyme.Serum calcium concentration in the group with normal muscle enzyme was within normal range.Serum calcium concentration in the group with elevated muscle enzyme was significantly lower than that in the group with normal muscle enzyme (P<0.01).As the serum calcium concentration rose, the elevated enzyme level gradually returned to normal range, suggesting that the decrease of serum calcium concentration resulted in the elevated muscle enzyme levels in patients with hypoparathyroidism.

Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2010;16(10):761-763
Objective To summarize the experience in diagnosis and treatment of primary splenic neoplasm (PSN) to promote understanding of the disease. Methods The clinical data of all admitted patients with PSN treated in this hospital from February 1989 to February 2004 were retrospectively analyzed. Results A total of 63 patients were treated by surgery and pathologically confirmed as PSN. Twenty-one patients were treated by splenectomy alone. Twenty-seven patients underwent distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy. Fifteen patients received splenectomy combined with excision of tumor, the 5-year survival rate was 35.9%(15/42). Conclusion PSN should be diagnosed mainly according to clinical manifestations, image examination, and fine needle aspiration biopsy. CT and angiography play an important role in the identification of benign and malignant splenic mass. Early diagnosis, radical resection and comprehensive treatment are important for improving the prognosis of PSN.

0.05).【Conclusion】Acupoint application shows a therapeutic effect for bronchial asthma in non-acute attack stage by reducing the attack frequency, and its mechanism may be related to the regulation of cellular immune function thus inhibit the airway inflammatory response mediated by EOS.

Objective: The study was to reveal the inhibition of neovascularization by Tongbiling. Methods: Rat model were established by injecting CFA at the root of the tail and divided into model control group, Indomethacin group and Tongbiling group at random. The serum and paws were collected after seven days treatment. 10ng/L VEGF solution was added I into CAM to stimulate the neovascularization, and to observe the influence of each group of serum on the first and second order new vessels. RT-PCR method was taken to determine the expression of mRNA of VEGF and VEGFR-1 of paws in different groups. Results: The number of vessels in the model control group was significantly more than that in the Indomethacin group and the Tongbiling group (P
