α-Galactosidase A (α-Gal A ) activities in plasma and peripheral blood granulocytes of 100healthy subjects and one patient with Fabry disease was determined by means of fluorogenic substrate. The results showed that the enzymatic activities of peripheral blood granulocytes and plasma in 100 subjects were (51.97 ± 15.24)and(148.08±26.30) nmol · h-1 · ml-1 respectively. The α-Gal A activities in plasma and granulocytes were positively correlated( r=0.533,P<0.01 ).The enzymatic activities in peripheral blood granulocytes and plasma of the patients with Fabry disease were 1.05 and 10.06 nmol · h-1 · ml-1 respectively, both much lower than those of 100healthy subjects. These results suggest that α-Gal A activity in plasma and peripheral blood granulocytes can be used for diagnosis and screening of Fabry disease.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2014;(1):155-157
Objective Through comparing the traditional teaching rounds model with innovation model, explore appropriate teaching rounds model for Radiotherapy. Methods From September 2009 to June 2010, 82 students of Kunming Medical University were randomly divided into two groups, 41 students in test group with innovation teaching rounds model, and 41 students in control group with traditional model. The results of the two groups were compared. Results The differences of survey and test scores were statistically significant ( <0.01) between the test and control groups. Conclusion Test group could effectively improve the clinical thinking, practice operating capacity and teaching quality, mobilize the initiative and enthusiasm for learning. The teaching rounds model needs further exploration, improvement and evaluation.

Objective To study the relationship of tumor necrosis factor beta (TNF-?) polymorphism with human IgA nephropathy of Chinese Han nationality in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Methods The A→G single base mutation polymorphism in TNF-?1096 locus were analyzed among 80 normal controls and 79 IgA nephropathy patients by using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). Results The genotype frequencies of TNF?* 1/1 and TNF?* 2/2 in IgA nephropathy patients were significantly higher than that in normal controls (x1/12=5.58,P

International Eye Science 2015;(1):86-88
Abstract?AlM:To investigate the effects of the MUC5AC levels and ocular function of the patients with glaucoma and cataract with combined surgery.? METHODS: Twenty - eight patients treated with glaucoma and cataract combined surgery were chosen as the observation group from December 2011 to June 2014 in our hospital, and other 28 cases of glaucoma and cataract did not undergo surgical treatment were selected as the control group, 30 healthy subjects were as healthy control group. the MUC5AC level and ocular surface score of the three subjects before surgery 1d, after 3 and 6mo were compared.?RESULTS: The NUC5AC of the two groups of patients was significantly lower than that of the healthy control group before surgery (P<0. 05), the ocular function score was significantly higher than the healthy control group ( P<0. 05). After 1mo, the MUC5AC of the observation group were significantly lower than that of before surgery ( P<0. 05), after 3mo MUC5AC content gradually increased to preoperative levels, after 6mo the MUC5AC were significantly higher than before surgery (P<0. 05). After 1mo, ocular function scores were significantly higher than the preoperative ( P< 0. 05 ), while after 3mo, ocular function scores decreased after 6mo of ocular surface function scores were significantly lower than the preoperative (P<0. 05). While the control group after 6mo, with the passage of time, the MUC5AC content gradually reduce, ocular function score increased gradually. ?CONCLUSlON:To treat the patients with glaucoma and cataract with combined surgery, the level of MUC5AC can temporary decrease. Ocular function score can temporary increase in, but after 3mo, it can be gradually improved.

Objective To study the screening value of color doppler flow imaging (CDFI) for gastroesophageal reflux(GER).Methods Through the window of left lobe liver, the abdominal esophageal length, the phenomenon of GER and the frequency of GER were detected by CDFI in 55 children with GER and 55 control group. Results Abdominal esophagus was identified by CDFI in every children. The abdominal esophageal length was shorter in refluxers than that in control group. A significant correlation was found between its length and the age of control group. To diagnose GER with CDFI ,its accuracy was 98.18%,and its specificity was 76.36%.Conclusions Visualization and measurements of the abdominal esophagus are readily achieved with CDFI in children.Abdominal esophageal length is shorter in refluxers than that in control group. CDFI is a rapid method of screening GER.

Objective To study whether gastric liquid emptying is delayed in children with gastroesophageal reflux and its clinical significance. Methods At different times after meal, the gastric antral diameters were measured by real - time ultrasonography in 55 children with gastroesophageal reflux and 55 controls. Results At 20 min,60 min after meal , there was a significant difference in gastric emptying rate between case groups and control groups, respectively(P

ObjectiveTo observe the efficacy and safety of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) with morphine and fentanyl after cardiac surgery.MethodsSeventy patients operated with cardiac surgery were randomly divided into morphine group (group M) and fentanyl group (group F). The beginning efficacy time of analgesia, efficacy of analgesia, patient's evaluation, heart rate, respiratory rate, mean arterial pressure, and incidence of nausea and vomiting were assessed.ResultsThere were no significant differences in efficacy and patient's evaluation between two groups. In group G,the beginning efficacy time of analgesia was significantly shorter than those in group M (P<0.05),and the times of nausea and vomiting were significant less than those in group M (P<0.05).ConclusionPCIA with fentanyl and morphine for postoperative pain relief after cardiac surgery is efficient and safe. Compared with morphine, the beginning efficacy time of fentanyl is significant shorter, and times of nausea and vomiting are little.

10.Alteration of serum lipids in patients with acute leukemia and its clinical significance.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2002;10(4):371-372
To explore the clinical significance on alteration of serum lipids in acute leukemia (AL) patients, the level of serum lipids was monitored in 86 AL cases by using of automatic biochemical analyzer. The results showed that TG was significantly higher (P < 0.05) while TC, LDL-C and HDL-C were obviously lower (P < 0.05) in AL patients than those in normal controls. After chemotherapy, TG decreased but TC, LDL-C and HDL-C were still higher (P < 0.05) as comparing to pre-treatment in complete remission cases. There were no changes of those parameters in non-remission patients. It is concluded that determination of serum lipids level in AL patients is a simple and important accessory index to evaluate curative effect and monitor patient's condition.
