Observe and study the morphological changes and effects on yoleperoxidase (MPO) of traditional Chinese medical complex Intestine-clearing Suppository (ICS) in preventing and treating ulcerative colitis (UC).Method.. Divide the experimental rats randomly into 6 groups, i.e., blank, salicylazosulfapyridine (SASP), model, high, middle and low dosage of ICS, except the blank group, makeother rats experimental UC model with albumen immunologic method of rabbit colon mucosa, further divide them randomly into 2 experimental groups, i. e. , prevention and treatment, afterwards at 2nd~21st day, give prevention group the medicine, 22nd~35th day, treatment group, then decapitate them and take the colon tissue, and observe it morphologically under optical microscope, measure active MPO, analyse statastic results. Result: Through general morphological observation ,we found there were serious congestion ,edema, mucosa erosion, many large ulcers in the rats of model group; less serious mucosa erosion and quantity of ulcers in SASP and low-dosage ICS groups: small ulcers, not serious mucosa erosion, low degree of congestion and edema in high-and middle-dosage ICS groups; the scores of inflammatory injury of ICS groups were markedly lower than that of model (P<0. 01), meanwhile, the preventive and reating effectiveness of high-and middle-dosage groups was better than that of SASP (P<0.05). Under the optical microscope, there were large area of mucosa coloboma in the rats of model group, the ulcer penetrated to muscular layer and serous coat; in SASP group and low-dosage ICS group, there were erosive mucosa and inflammatory cell infiltration, granulation on the base; in middle-and high-dosage groups, large part of colon mucosa recovered, granulation formed on the base, ulcers were obviously less than that in model group (P <<0.01); there had marked difference compared with that in SASP group (P<0.05). The MPO active values of high-and middle-dosage groups were markedly lower than that of model group (P < 0.01). Conclusion: Traditional Chinese complex ICS had good prevention and treatment to rats UC, itseffectiveness was positively correlated with dosage and better than that of SASP suppository.
2.Originolkogycal Analysis of Theory"Will Stored in the Kidney, Corresponding to Fear"
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2001;25(1):5-9
This paper aims to discuss that the origin of the concept “physique existing with spirit” is the starting point of the origino logical study of “will stored in the kidney, corresponding to fear”, the definition of “physique existing with spirit” factually is one of many detailed reflections of TCM returning and suing for peace to traditional culture, its originological basis lies in “knowing interior from exterior” and the observation to the life course of “birth, growth, strength, senior, death”; “will” has broad and narrow meanings, the one I'n Classics has the narrow meaning, I. E. , will and memory ; the origin of “will stored in the kidney” is based on the theory of “essence of life stored in the kidney”, which depending on “subject thinking” method grasping the relatin of will and action, meanwhile, the antiproof of treatment to amnesia can also be induced to the basis of “will stored in the kidney”; “fear” belongs to the kidney, the basis of the theory “kidney corresponding to fear” comes from the observation to the symptoms caused by too much fear, and the interpromoting relationship of feeling and will practice to the reasonable and scientific matching proof of kidney-fear.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2014;(8):955-958
Objective]To explore the essence of doubts differentiation from‘Neiwaishangbianhuolun’,the monumental work of the medical practitioner Dongyuan Li in Jin and Yuan Dynasties, and relativity between internal damage and exogenous diseases.[Methods] By means of researching the background of‘Neiwaishangbianhuolun’, analyzing the 13 main differentiations, think about the essence of doubts differentiation; meanwhile, by connecting to the explicate of mechanism of ascending yangqi belonging to exterior-releasing medicine(wind-expel ing drugs) in his representative work‘Piweilun’, discuss the contrary and transforming relationships between exogenous wind-cold and internal damage of the stomach and spleen, comparing to academic thoughts of Zhongjing Zhang’s‘Shanghanlun’. [Results]Realize essence of doubts differentiation from ‘Neiwaishangbianhuolun’ is not exterior or interior of disease location, but deficiency and excess of disease character.By analyzing the functional mechanism of wind-expel ing drugs and relationship among exogenous diseases,wind-expel ing drugs and the stomach and spleen, raise the relativity between internal damage and exogenous diseases. [Conclusions] The revealing of the essence of deficiency and excess differentiations from‘Neiwaishangbianhuolun’, together with knowledge of the functional essence of wind-expel ing drugs and the relevance of internal damage and exogenous diseases, may open the mind partly for syndrome differentiation and medications in the clinic.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2014;(8):948-950
Objective] To analyze the application of the idea of Stomach Qi of Treatise on Cold-Induced Disease in the differentiation of disease and pulse. [Method] To choose and analyze the articles, line by line, related to stomach Qi, including trying to treat, diet, stool and pulse, and to conclude the application of stomach Qi thought in disease diagnosis, cure and predicting the condition of disease.[Result] Treatise on Cold-Induced Disease advocating trying drug and food, if there was fever after drug and food, it meant stomach Qi was impaired, and it was hard to cure the diseases. On the contrary, there was stomach Qi, it was easy to cure the diseases. By using Xiao Chengqi Tang to try, if there was flatus to turn, it meant that stomach Qi was strong, and Catharis could be used. On the contrary, catharis could not be used. Being able to eat meaned that there was sthenic fever in middle energizer,or stomach Qi was recovering, or middle energizer was very deficient. Being not able to eat meaned the different condition of stomach Qi, according to the accompaning symptoms. Though observing the amount, shapes, colours, smel and frequency of feces, the conditions of heat and cold, deficiency and excess of a disease could be concluded. If syndrome and pulse were consistent, it meant that Stomach Qi stil existed, and a serious il ness could be cured. conversely stomach Qi was extremely deficient, and it was hard to cure a mild il ness. Floating FuYang pulse and too creek pulse being smal er than ChongYang pulse al meaned stomach Qi existing.[Result] Treatise on Cold-Induced Disease often judged the ups and downs of stomach Qi according to the differentiation of disease and pulse ,to predict the condition of disease.
