1.Pham Ngoc Thach and his researcher on BCG at 43oC.
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2000;(4):3-6
This paper introduced systematically the classic knowledge of the anti-tuberculosis immune, the reasons, objectives and situation of researches on died BCG in the foreign countries. The studies on the rate of infection and immunization for live BCG, BCG at 43oC, fatty lost BCG and standard BCG in experimental mice have shown that the immunal rate by hypodermic and intradermic injection of died BCG due to the long keeping or keeping at 43oC was the same as this by the live BCG injection. In addition to, the died BCG showed further some advantages.

2.Recommendation of Asia - Pacific region Agreement 1997 on the management of H. pylori infection
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 1999;2():11-13
The Asia - Pacific region Agreement 1997 on the management of H. pylori infection recommended the diagnosis and treatment of H. pylori. For diagnosis, urease test was the best technique. The histological tests only used when the unease test was negative. The treatment involved some guidelines: guideline 1 (PPI + clarithromycin 500mg + amoxycilline 100mg), guideline 2 (PPI + clorithromycin 500 mg + metrinidazole 400 mg), guideline 3 (RBC 400mg+ clarithromycin 500 mg + metronidazole 400mg), and guideline 4 (PPI + amoxycilline + metronidazole) within 7 days x 2 times a day.

3.Arrhythmias in elderly
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;(11):13-16
Changes of cardiac structure and action in elderly led to the arrhythmia such as extrasystole (symptoms, treatment and prognosis), arterial fibrillation (anticoagulation for reduction of the risk of cardiovascular accidents, reduction of ventricular rhythm, normalization of sinal rhythm), sick sinal syndrome and transmission disorders were studied.

4.Management of sterility and infertility in Vietnam-Present and Future
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 1998;1(1):26-30
The rate of infertility in Vietnam is 13% of couples of reproductive age, in which the primary infertility is 1.5%; the secondary infertility with childless is 1.5% and with at least 1 living child is 2%. It means there are 5% of couples needing a treatment of infertility. The principal cause of infertility is the infections of genital tract leading to tubal occlusion in 40% of female infertility; the hydrotubation is done the proximal tubal occlusion. Surgery with coelioscopy is the most proper method for tubal occlusion; Pregnancy rate is 30% of the tubal occlusion cases. The rate of anovulation and dysovulation about 25%. The treatment of these cases is clomiphene citrate of HMG-HCG. The rate of hyperprolactinemia is 30% of amenorrheic women having galactorrhea or not. Bromocryptine pregnancy rate is more than 30%.

5.Contribution to the study of ecopathology related to human enteritis necroticans (EN)
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;(11):29-32
Methods: Isolating Cl. perfringens (C.P.) from pig faeces, pigsty floor, pathway between pigsty-kitchen, foodstuffs for pig, waste water among households, which divided into 2 groups: A (endemic region) and B (control). Specimens were cultured by standard technique at the microbiological Lab of the Nat. Inst. of Veterinary in order to identify C.P. Results: In the endemic group: the positive rates of C.P. in pig faeces was 76.74%; in pigsty floor was 93.33%; in nearby pathway was 100%; in foodstuffs for pig was 75% and 100% in waste water, while at the some time, in the control group, this rate was only 16.66% in pig faeces (p<0.01). The percentage of C.P isolated from pig faeces of the endemic group was 5 times higher than that of the control group. Perhaps, the severe contamination with C.P in living environment would be an important factor for the EN occurrence in humans, as well as in animals.

6.Men - special risk in particular risk
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2000;(4):1-3
Men were susceptible to HIV in the special condition. The HIV/AIDS prevention and control program of United Nation recognized some groups of men that should be considered including men working in dangerous sites, army, far from their home, continuous changed there offices, prisoner and street men.

7.Men - special risk in particular risk
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 2001;(11):31-34
A study on the changes of blood cells and lymphocyte T and the relation of the reduced lymphocyte TCD4 and some hematological indicators in patients with HIV/AIDS has shown that the amount of the lymphocyte T CD4 was reduced in patients with the HIV infection and was reduced significantly in patients with AIDS comparing with these in the normal people. The amount of the lymphocyte T CD8 was increased which lead the increase of lymphocyte TCD3. The amount of neutral leukocytes and thrombocytes in patients with HIV and/or AIDS were reduced when compared with these in the normal people. The amount of leukocyte and erythrocyte were reduced. The reduction of the lymphocyte TCD4 was closely related with the reduction of the thrombocytes and leukocytes.

9.Clinical and paraclinical features and the treatment of ureterocele
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 1998;(1):34-47
Between April 1992 and March 2001, a total of 52 patients (58 ureteroceles) was diagnosed and treated at National Pediatric Institute. For ureterocele, female to male ratio was 5.2:1. Complete duplication was found in association with the ureterocele in 50 cases. Urinary tract infection was the most frequent mode of presentation (64%), abdominal mass (12%) and prolapsed ureterocele (13%). The diagnostic procedure included ultrasonographic examination, voiding cystourethrography and excretory urogram. Of 52 patients, 82% and 77% were less than 2 years old at presentation and operation respectively. The elective surgical policy was individualized, based on renal function and presence of vesicoureteral reflux. Overall results within various groups were generally satisfactory regarding the eradication of urinary tract infection, the preservation of renal function in 73% cases after the first procedures

10.It should be attention in the use of traditional native medicines
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 1998;(1):15-17
41 patients with the allergy due to the traditional native medicines in Bach Mai Hospital were monitored closely the clinical symptoms and their total IgE were determined. It was difficult to identify precisely the compounds that caused the allergy. In addition to, the allergy to the traditional native medicine usually related with the renal, hepatic lesion or other lesion therefore, the mortality rate of this allergy was higher 3 times than this of other allergy at the same time. The study also introduced some measurements for limiting the accidents due to the traditional native medicine in the community
