1.The Survey on the Occupational Exposure of Undergraduate Nursing Students In Kunming Medical University

Objective To understand the undergraduate nursing students’ awareness of the basic situation of occupational exposure in Kunming Medical University, and to understand their knowing status of occupational exposure knowledge. Methods We used self- designed questionnaire to investigate 449 undergraduate nursing students in Kunming Medical University to obtain the status of occupational exposure and protection knowledge level of students.Results (1) 449 students were investigated, and 258 of them had been in clinical practice, and occupational exposure occurred in 48.8% of them. (2) Occupational exposure factors included grade, washing hands and wearing gloves;The results showed that:Grade was a risk factor and wearing glove and washing hands were protective factors. (3) There was relevance between accepting the occupational protection education and the occupational exposure. Conclusions A useful measure to reduce the occurrence of occupational exposure is Pre-service training for undergraduates nursing students. Operation should be in strict accordance with operating specifications. Schools and departments should implement occupational protection system, so as to strengthen the related knowledge vocational education,enhance self-protection awarenes,and reduce or minimize the occurrence of occupational exposure.
2.Forensic Analysis of 9 Cases with Enterovirus 71 Infection

Objective To investigate the forensic characteristics of death cases of EV71 through retrospective analysis of 9 death forensic cases of Enterovirus 71 (EV71) . Methods Nine cases of EV71 death cases were collected,and the population characteristics, histopathological change,toxicology,pathology and causes of death of these cases were discussed. Results All 9 patients had fever, cough, emesis, and were treated as influenza or hand-foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in local hospitals, the condition was still deteriorating and finally died. The 9 autopsy cases were diagnosed as brain stem encephalitis and death in forensic diagnose. Conclusion The HFMD disease caused by EV71 infection progresses rapidly often leads to medical disputes, the patient's family and hospital's opinions on the causes of death in patients are often different,identifying the cause of death is conducive to resolve the disputes.
3.Auricular Composite Tissue Flap for Repairing Nasal Ala Defect

Objective To discuss the effects of repairing nasal ala defects by free transplantation of autogenous auricle composite tissue flap. Methods 50 cases with nasal ala defects were repaired by free auricular composite tissue flap transplantation from Janu 2003 to May 2013. The defects size was 0.5cm x 0.7cm~1.3cm x 1.5cm. According to the size of the defects, full thick wedge-shaped auricle composite tissue flap were cut off, then inserted into the nasal ala defects area and fixed stablely, the donor sites were sutured directly avoiding ear cartilage. Salvianolate and hyperbaric oxygen were used in postoperative treatment for 5-7 days. Results 48 cases achieved good results, 2 cases had partial necrosis of composite tissue flap after operation, also achieved good results after reoperation. Over 3 months~5 years follow-up, all cases had satisfactory results. The volume of auricle composite tissue flap reduced less than 10%. Surgical incisions had a linear scar, good color matching, nostril symmetry. All patients were satisfied with the overall appearance. Conclusions Autogenous auricle composite tissue flap free transplantation for repairing middle and small size of nasal ala defects can recover ala formation and structure very well, nasal appearance can be improved greatly with nostril symmetry. There is no hypertrophic scar in donor sites. This method is simple and easy,and is also a good method for repairing nasal ala defects.
4.Clinical Research on Treatment of Oligospermia and Asthenospermia with Guiqishengjing Capsule

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Guiqi shengjing capsule on infertility caused by oligospermia and asthenospermia. Methods All of 126 oligospermia and asthenospermia outpatients in theDepartment of Andrology from Sep 2011 to Dec 2012 were divided into 2 groups randomly:experimental group and control group (63 patients in each group), which were taken Guiqishengjing capsule and Huangjing zanyu capsule respectively, with a course of 3 months. Then we observed and compared the clinical efficacy and semen parameters of the patients in the 2 groups before and after treatment. Results There was no significant differences in semen parameters between two groups before treatment ( >0.05) .And also there was no significant differences in total clinical effective rate and semen parameters between two groups after treatment ( >0.05) .But, the extremely significant difference presented in sperm activity and density before and after treatment in two groups (<0.01) . Conclusion Guiqishengjing capsule can promote spermatogenesis, improve sperm quality, and has definite effect on oligospermia and asthenospermia in infertility .
5.Clinical Observation on Treatment of Adult Serious Chronic Periodontitis with Periocline Ointement as Auxiliary Therapy

Objctive To evaluate therapeutic effect of periocline ointment as an auxiliary treatment of adult serious chronic periodontitis. Methods 56 patients were divided into the test group and the control group in register sequence. Following initial therapy, patients in the test group were treated with PERIOCLINE into the periodontal pocket once a week for 4 weeks, while patients in the control group were treated with iodine glycerine. At the baseline level, the indexes of PLI,SBI,PD,AL were recorded and compared between the two groups on the 1st month, 3rd month and 6th month. Results All the indices of both groups were improved, compared with the baseline ( <0.05) . The results of the test group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (<0.05) . Conclusion Periocline ointment as an auxiliary treatment of adult serious chronic periodontitis is superior to compounded iodine glycerine in the amelioration of all the indices.
6.Analysis of Characteristics and Data Collection Sources of Featured Literature Databases in Higher Schools in Yunnan

Objective To explore the characteristics and data collection sources of featured literature databases in universities/colleges in Yunnan in order to provide evidence for building featured literature databases. Methods Key information about three types of featured literature databases was retrieved online, which included those being constructed jointly by some universities or colleges in Yunnan, owned by universities or colleges in Yunnan, and already in use in China Academic Library and Information System ( CALIS) , respectively. Comparison was performed among these featured literature databases in regard to data characteristics and collection sources. Results Among all the featured databases being constructed, 58.8% were based on literature on local resources, 17.6% on disciplines and specialties, and 11.8% on library literature. In-use featured databases in Yunnan were mainly based on local resources and disciplines, and the data were collected within their own organizations or through multi-sources. The featured databases in CALIS were of local resources, disciplines, and people, while their data were collected mainly within their own organizations, through other organizations and multi-sources. Conclusion Yunnan featured databases are of unique characteristics, but more should be done to define Yunnan style data, while it is necessary to collect data from a wider range of sources.
7.Application of Case-based Learning (CBL) Method in Clinical Practice of Internal Medicine

Objective To investigate the effect of Case Based Learning (CBL) method in clinical practice of internal medicine. Methods 88 clinical medicine students were divided into CBL teaching group and traditional teaching group. Traditional teaching method was introduced to traditional teaching group while CBL teaching method was carried out in the other. The test papers and questionnaires were analyzed in both groups. Result The students in CBL teaching group mastered internal medicine knowledge better than the other group. Conclusion CBL teaching mode helps improve the overall teaching quality of internal medical in clinical practice,and the interns' interest in learning and their clinical practice ability can be greatly enhanced.
8.Research Progress of Cyclin D1,P16 and CDK4 in Gastric Cancer

Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor with the second highest incidence and mortality in the world, and China is one of the countries with the highest incidence of gastric cancer in the world. Research on the regulation of cell cycle protein can provide effective evidence for the mechanism of tumor and gene therapy.G1/S phase is the key point for cell cycle regulation,Cyclin D1 and CDK4 gene and P16 play important roles in this phase and have great correlation with gastric cancer,but the exact relationship between these genes and gastric cancer is still unclear. In order to better understand the expression of Cyclin D1 and CDK4 gene and P16 in gastric cancer, the related researches in recent years were summarized in this paper.
9.Comparative Analysis of the Comprehensive Effect of All-ceramic Crowns and Metal Ceramic Crowns in the Application of Full Denture Prosthesis

Objective To observe the effect of all-ceramic crowns and metal ceramic crowns in the application of full denture prosthesis. Methods 86 patients who received full denture prosthesis in the Yunnan Transportation Center Hospital of Yunnan Province from January 2012 to September 2012 were chosen as the research object. According to the order of patients admission tag,patients with the odd tag were as the control group,patients with the even were as the observation group, and 43 patients in each group. Patients in the control group received metal ceramic crown repair, and patients in the observation group received all-ceramic crown repair. Patients in the two groups were followed up for 12 months to 24 months, and the black line on the gingival cervical margin, periodontal damage and porcelain crowns crack were compared between the two groups. Results The cervical margin black line ratios in the observation group and the control group were 2.33%(1/43) and 18.60% (8/43), the difference was statistically significant ( <0.05) . 11.63% (5/43) of patients in the observation group appeared cracks and fracture, compared with the control group of 2.33% (1/43), there was a statistically significant difference ( <0.05) . Conclusion Compared with etal ceramic crowns, all-ceramic crowns in full denture prosthesis have less injury in periodontal tissue and weaker anti-crack intensity, so the clinicians should choose the all-ceramic crowns based on the patients' indications.
10.The Significance of Minimal Residual Disease Detection in Acute Leukemia

Objective Investigate the clinical significance of bone marrow minimal residual disease (MRD) detection to prognosis and therapeutic evaluation in acute leukemia (AL) after complete remission (CR). Methods Forty-three cases of bone marrow specimens in patients with acute leukemia were collected from 209-2012. The MRD was detected using multiparameter flow cytometry (FCM). The detection was performed from the beginning of induction chemotherapy by CR,and detected at 1,3,6 and 12 months. According to the CR detection for the first time, the induced MRD levels were obtained after treatment, then 43 patients with AL were divided into negative (MRD<10-4) and positive (MRD>10-4) two groups. Results The recurrence rate after three years of the two groups was 0 and 80%, respectively. There was a significant difference in the recurrence rate ( <0.05) . The recurrence rate of positive group was significant higher than that of negative group ( <0.05) when the morphologic of MRD was complete remission. Conclusion Using FCM to detect AL MRD, MRD>10-4 AL-CR have the high recurrence rate, and the recurrence of positive group have appeared early than traditional MRD bone marrow morphology. The continuous MRD detection of AL-CR has important clinical significance in the prognosis and early prediction for recurrence.
