To explore the characteristic features of morpho logical changes of neurons in the spinal dorsal horn result from different types of spinal cord in jury, the adult Srague-Daweley fat models of crushed, hemi-sected and transected spinal cord injury established in our laboratory were used, and the intact spin al cords were as control. These rats were sacrificed after 24 hours, 7 days and 2l days of operation, and the L3, segments were removed out and sectioned continuously into sections of 20 μm in thickness. The sections were stained by hematoxylin and observed under . microscope. In addition, neurons in the dorsal horn were counted. Results: In the crushed spinal horns, bodies of neurons were atrophy, but neuron counting did not decrease markedly; in the hemi-sected and transected dorsal horn, a batch of empty cavities were presented, and neuron counting decreased greatly. The results indicated that different injuries of spinal cord resulted in different damage to neurons in the dorsal horn, i. e. the crushed one, the bad, the hemi-sected one, the worse; and the transected one, the worst.

To probe into psycho-social factors related to relap se of heroin addict and to find main factor of effect on relapse. 186 cases of heroin addict had been devised into first and relapse group. Addict condition, family condition, motive of drug abuse and MMPI of addict had been studied. The results showed that relapse group were early and long time user, most of them with intravenous, the times per day of use, dosage and fee more then first drug abuse group. The motivation of relapse was strong dependent. Psychological dependent and release of depression and adolescence are high danger factor of relapse. Rehabilitation measure must be personal depend on cause of relapse of Individual.
4.Long Term Results of Inoperable Stage ⅢB, Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2001;22(1):95-96,99
The long-term results of 118 cases inoperable stage ⅢB non-small cell lung cancer were reported. All patients received CAP regimen or MVP regimen chemotherapy. 97 patients received radiotherapy, The results showed that 1-, 3-, 5- year survival rates were 53.4%, 19.5% and 8.5% respectively. The 3-, 5- year survival rate for squamous cell carcinoma were higher than those adenocarcinoma (P<0.05). The 3-, 5- year survival rate for T4N0 M0 were higher than those T3 N3 M0,T4 N1~2 M0 and T4 N3 M0, (P<0.05~0.01). There was no differencein the 3-, 5-year survival rate between CAP regimen and MVP regimen.
5.The Development of Research on the Carboplatin Polymer System
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2001;22(1):100-102,107
Glioma is the most common tumor in craniocerebra l neoplasms. It is hard to deal with for every neurosurgery not the difficulty o f operation, but the poor outcome. Many efforts was made in this area include ne w drugs in chemotherapy; intratumoral radiation, stereostatic radioneurosurgery in neuroradiation, and the new strategy of operation direct to tumor. Local intratumoral implants carried by biodegradable polymer provide a new promising approach for more selective and less neurotoxic in chemotherapy. The polymer microsphere carried with carboplatin is much powerful to glioma in vitro and in vivo. The disadvantages of carboplatin during delivery systemically disappeared.

Objective To explore the development requirements and tentative ideas on the standardized teaching wards in the internship course of undergraduate nursing students. Methods 134 nursing undergraduate students before the internship and 70 nursing teachers were recruited in this study. A self-made questionnaire was distributed to these students and teachers to explore their requirements and needs in the development of the standardized teaching wards. Results The majority of students and nursing teachers thought that it was necessary to design and develop the standardized teaching wards for the nursing students and the six items of this study were accepted by them. Conclusion The standardized teaching wards will be designed and developed according to the six items of this study.

Objective To explore the value of the electronic colposcopy Reid Score in diagnosis of cervical lesions and HPV infection in women with HIV infection, so as to find out an inexpensive, convenient and feasible screening methods. Methods 95 cases of HIV-infected women were screened by cervical liquid based cytology, HPV testing, colposcopy and Reid Score. The patients with abnormal results in any one test mentioned above underwent cervical biopsy. The colposcopy was combined with pathological as a gold standard for case-control study. Results There was a statistically signi?cant correlation between colposcopic ndings and histopathological ndings and the score was increased as parallel as malignancy grade (r=0.753,P=0.00) . The specificity of Reid score for high grade CIN was better than high-risk HPV testing for CIN diagnosis and the sensitivity was better than liquid based cytology. Acetic acid staining has relatively high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of cervical lesions. Conclusions Colposcope Reid score for cervical lesions has a predictive value, especially for high grade cervical precancerous lesions. Colposcopy for HIV-positive women cervical cancer screening is an efficient and feasible way, especially for the area where lack of medical resources.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2013;(9):29-30,37
Objective To investigate the effect of gastrodin on brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression in Alzheimer's disease ( AD) tree shrew. Methods AD tree shrew model was established by intracerebroventricular injection with amyloid-βpeptide (Aβ) . Since the eighth day after injection, the tree shrews were treated with gastrodin for thirty days. The expression of BDNF in tree threw hippocampus was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) . Results The expression of BDNF mRNA in the treatment group was higher than that in the model group ( <0.05) . Conclusion Gastrodin can increase some degree of the expression of BDNF.

Objective To investigate the differences of protein and mRNA expression of matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) in osteoclasts (OC) and osteoclast-like cells (OLC) obtained by mechanical and inducement methods. Methods Mechanical separation method was used to separate mature osteoclasts from long bones of SD rats aged one-day;and inducement culture method was applied to induce OLC by using RANKL (100 ng/mL) and M-CSF (100 ng/mL) . The protein expression of MMP-9 was measured by immunocytochemistry and mRNA expression of MMP-9 was assayed by in situ hybridization. Results The integral optical density (IOD) and average optical density (AOD) of positive cells in the visual field were higher in the 12-d group of inducement method as compared with the 3 d-group of mechanical method. Conclusions It is suggested that the protein and mRNA expression of MMP-9 in OLC obtained by 12 d inducement method is much high than in OC obtained by 3 d mechanical method. OLC obtained by inducement method can be applied in the study of osteoporosis.
