Acute non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding (ANVUGIB) is one of the most common medical emergencies worldwide. In 2009,the first edition of "Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding"was published in China. These guidelines were updated in 2015,which aimed to provide the standard diagnosis and management for patients with ANVUGIB.Based on the rapid development of multiple disciplines and latest understanding of ANVUGIB,this new edition of guidelines was therefore released for standardizing the diagnosis and management process of ANVUGIB.
2. Research of protein phosphatase 2A inhibition by norcantharidin on radiosensitivity enhancement of nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE1
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2016;51(18):1579-1585
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the radiosensitizing effect of PP2A inhibition on nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells and its xenografts. METHODS: Co-immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry were used to examine PP2A activity, cell cycle analysis and apoptosis of CNE1 and its xenografts, in order to explore the effect of radiosensitization in CNE1 cells. RESULTS: Cell cycle distribution and apoptosis were measured by flow cytometry 24 h after treatment. The combination of 8 Gy and 40 μmol < L-1 norcantharidin produced significantly accumulation of cells in G2/M-phase( 45.71 ±2.015)% and more apoptosis(75.63 ± 6.11)% in CNE1 cell lines compared with norcantharidin alone and to radiation alone, norcantharidin in combination with radiation produced the greatest effects on tumor growth slowing and decreasing tumor weight by 87.64% relative to vehicle in CNE1 xenografts. Our data demonstrate that inhibition of PP2 A with radiation significantly sensitizes nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo. CONCLUSION: The inhibition of PP2A with norcantharidin inhibited xenograft growth obviously. Our results support further exploration of PP2A inhibition as part of radiotherapy regimens for NPC and potentially other solid tumors.

7. An expert consensus on the adjustment of treatment strategies in patients with chronic hepatitis B treated with non-first-line nucleos(t)ide analogues
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2019;39(06):529-532
Oral nucleos(t)ide analogues(NAs) is one of the main and efficient way for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Considering the antiviral potency of drugs and drug resistance, in the domestic and foreign guidelines, NAs are divided into first-line and non-first-line drugs. “An Expert Consensus on the Adjustment of Treatment Strategies in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B Treated with Non-first-line Nucleos(t)ide Analogues” is mainly aimed at those patients who are currently using non-first-line NAs drugs. In addition, the folliwing is presented: how to standardize the adjustment to first-line NAs drugs of choice, how to strengthen the effectiveness of initial antiviral treatment to obtain better antiviral efficacy and improve patient compliance, and at the same time avoid occurrence of serious drug adverse reactions in patients with CHB.
8.Influence of journals indexed by Science Citation Index (SCI) on Chinese medical journals based on the data of published articles by Chinese authors from 2000 - 2009.
Chinese Journal of Pediatrics 2011;49(4):276-281
OBJECTIVEThis study was designed to investigate the influence of journals indexed by Science Citation Index (SCI) on Chinese medical journals.
METHODArticles on medicine written by Chinese and the journals that published these articles from 2000 to 2009 were searched using Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) database, and the status and variation tendency of the impact factors (IF) of these journals were analyzed. Data of articles on medicine included Chinese Scientific and Technical Paper and Citations Data (CSTPCD) from 2000 to 2008 were searched (the data of 2009 have not been released). The included articles and the time-dependent changing profile were studied. These outcomes were evaluated as the fixed base relative or link relative when compared with the data of 2000 or those of last year, respectively. Geometric mean was used when mean increase was calculated and IF distribution was described with median.
RESULTTotally 3774 articles from China were published by journals indexed by SCI-E in 2000, and the number of articles published by Chinese authors increased every year. In 2008, 16 714 articles were indexed by SCI-E, 442.87% higher than those of 2000. The increment was 161.54% higher than that of articles published in the journals indexed by CSTPCD (281.33%) during the same period. From 2000 to 2009, the geometric mean of increase in the number of published articles from China in journals indexed by SCI-E was 20.87% but it was 18.21% in CSTPCD. From 2000 to 2009, the median of IF of SCI-E indexed journals that published Chinese medical articles was 1.866, 2.073, 2.390, 2.702, 2.409, 2.496, 2.380, 2.218, 2.280 and 2.331, respectively, and they did not increase or even decreased.
CONCLUSIONThe number of the articles indexed by SCI-E increased year by year, much faster than that of CSTPCD. However, it does not necessarily mean the increase in impact.

Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2022;57(3):333-337
Objective: To analyze the citation of articles in Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and to explore the strategy for running scientific journals. Methods: Using the Citation Database of Chinese Biomedical Journals, the citations of articles in this journal from 2009 to 2019 were statistically analyzed, and the characteristics of highly cited articles were analyzed. Results: From 2009 to 2019, Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery published 2 814 papers. Cited papers accounted for 75.69% of all papers, and each paper was cited 7.24 times. The citation rate of published papers was consistent with the variation trend of citation frequency. Non treatises such as guide consensus and original articles for special issues were cited better. There was no obvious correlation between paper funding and citation. Conclusion: Improving the content quality and optimizing the column setting are important measures to enhance the influence of scientific journals.
