Clothing dermatitis is a rare disease. The distribution of the eruption coincides with the places on the skin where the garment fits most snugly. It is developed by the chemicals and the dyes rather than textile itself. We experienced 2 cases of clothing dermatitis, one of which was caused by formaldehyde in clothing.

Annals of Dermatology 1995;7(4):324-326
We report a case of herpes zoster with generalized varicelliform eruption. A 56-year-old male presented with rice-sized erythematous grouped ruptured or crusted vesicles with a band-like distribution on the left chest and back and generalized rice-to-pea-sized erythematous vesicles on his whole body. Histologic examination revealed ballooning degeneration and multi-nucleated giant cells in the epidermis and leukocytoclastic vasculitis in the dermis.

Atrial septal defect is one of the most common congenital heart diseases in adult, of which absolute causes is not confirmed, but explained by multifactorial inheritance. In Korea, there has been no case report of atrial septal defect in identical twins in spite of some reports of atrial septal defect in relatives and twins in other countries. We present a first case of atrial septal defect in identical twins whose mother had no infection or medication history during pregnancy.

Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society 1985;14(1):211-216
An intracerebral aneurysm usually bleeds into the subarachnoid space in addition it may also rupture into the subdural space or into the brain, and it is reported that approximately 2-8 percent of all ruptured aneurysm have an associated subdural hematoma. We had experienced 4 cases of subdural hematoma following ruptured intracerebral saccular aneurysm from 1983 to 1985. They were distal anterior cerebral artery aneurysm and middle cerebral artery aneurysm, and 2 cases of anterior communicating artery aneurysm. There were no relationship between the amount of subdural hematoma and clinical course. With a view to the clinical course, 3 cases were acute, and one was chronic.

We reported 3 cases of intestinal anisakiasis. The patients had abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, after eating raw sea-fishes 1 to 5 days before. Intestinal resection was performed under the impression of mechanical obstruction or cancer. The resected intestines showed marked edema, congestion or hemorrhage in the mucosa. Microscopically the larvae were found in the submucosa or inner muscle layer, and surrounded by phlegmonous inflammation with intense eosinophilic infiltration. The larvae were identified as Anisakis spp. by multiple sections.

Eccrine poroma is a benign skin appendage tumor originating from the intradermal part of the sweat duct. It is found commonly on the hairless surface of the feet, although eccrine poroma of the hands, head, trunk, and legs have been reported. Histopathologically, the tumor extends from the lower portion of the epidermis into the dermis as broad, anastomosing bands. The tumor cells are smaller than squamous cells, having a uniform cuboidal appearance and a round, deeply basophilic nucleus, connected by intercellular bridges. In eccrine poromas, narrow ducta1 lumina and occasional cystic spaces are found within the tumor bands, but a large cystic space is very unusual. We report a case of eccrine poroma with a large cystic space extending from epidermis into the reticular dermis.

10.Pyomyositis of Pyriformis Muscle Caused by Vigorous Exercise and Acupuncture in a Healthy Boy.

Journal of the Korean Pediatric Society 1997;40(11):1608-1611
A case of pyomyositis of right pyriformis and iliacus muscle in a healthy 13 year old male patient is presented and discussed. Pyomyositis is a primary acute bacterial infection of large skeletal muscles, associated with abscess formation. Since pyomyositis has been reported mainly in tropical countries and is rare in temperate climates, the name 'tropical myositis' is often used. Outside the tropics, pyomyositis is often associated with immune compromised state, and vigorous muscle acivity may have a role in some cases of pyomyositis. In this case, thirteen year old healthy boy developed severe right buttock pain after vigorous gymnasium activity and was treated with acutpucture, then showed high fever and aggrevation of pain. This case was thought to be associated muscle injury due to vigorous gymnasium activity and transient bacteremia following cutaneous acupuncture. He was treated with ultrasono guided needle aspiration and parenteral antibiotics successfully.
