Intramuscular lipomas are benign soft-tissue mesenchymal tumors which rarely occur in the region of the head. These tumors present as slow-growing, generally painless masses and are easily misdiagnosed initially as epidermal inclusion cysts. We describe a 44-year-old woman who presented with an intramuscular lipoma of the frontalis muscle.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1986;24(6):798-805
This is an analysis of 174 patients classified as generalized vitiligo by Ortonnes' classification during the period from May till December in 1985. The retults are summarized as follows. There were 89 females(51.l%) and 85 males(48, 9%). 2. The mean age of onset was 24.2 years(male: 23.4, female: 24. 8). 3. The mean age at the first visit was 33 years(male: 32. 2, female: 34, 8) 4. The mean duration of t.he disease was 10. 8 years (male: 10. 3, female: 11. 3). 5. The mean interval between onset and visiting was 9 years(male: 8. 8, female: 10). 6. Mode of onset was unicentric in 90, 2% and multicentric in 9. 8% 7.The most common site of initial involvement was abdomen(15. 0%). 8. The most common precipitating factor was trauma(11%). 9.The most common previous treatment was sunlight irradiation after application of topical oxoralene(33.3%). 10. The most common degree of depigmented lesion was 5~10%.(39.7%). 1l. Family history was present in 12% and thyroid disease was associated in only one case.

We report one case in which delayed enhanced computerized tomography (1.5 hr. later) contributed in detecting a dysplastic kidney with a single vaginal ectopic ureter that had been nonfunctioning on excretory urography and had not been detected by other diagnostic methods.

The digital dust indicator (Sibata P-5), one of the direct-reading instruments was evaluated for the respirable dust in the underground coal mine environments. As a reference, respirable dust was determined using three cyclones and/or impactors. All the tests were performed on aerosol in twenty underground coal mines. The coefficients of mass-relative concentration were 0.067+/-0.054 (Mean+/-Standard deviation) (range: 0.006-0.172). The relationship between relative concentration and temperature was not significant statistically. Also, the relationship of relative concentration and relative humidity was not significant. Mass concentration and relative concentration were 5.31+/-5.22 mg/m3 and 162+/-163 CPM (Mean+/-Standard deviation) respectively. The range of mass concentration was 1.22-22.69 mg/m3; relative concentration 16-628 CPM. The relationship of mass concentration and relative concentration was not significant in these ranges.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: We determined the localization of leukocyte-type 12-lipoxygenase (L-12-LO) in murine nasal mucosa and to investigate the expression of L-12-LO according to the development of murine nasal mucosa. MATERIALS AND METHOD: Immunohistochemical staining was done on the nasal mucosa of mice at gestational days 16, 17, 18, and mice at postnatal days 1, 3, 7, 14, and adult mice. Alcian blue (pH 2.5)-periodic acid Schiff staining on murine nasal mucosa was performed. RESULTS: In murine nasal respiratory mucosa, the expression of L-12-LO was noted in ciliated epithelial cells, basal cells, serous acini, and secretory ducts, but it was not found in the mucous acini and goblet cells. In olfactory mucosa, the expression of L-12-LO was noted in the olfactory receptor cells, supporting cells, and basal cells. The expression in respiratory mucosa according to the development was strongly noticed from the gestational day 16 through postnatal day 7. The expression in postnatal day 14 and adult mice was weaker than in the previous time point. The expression in olfactory mucosa showed no difference throughout the developmental stage. CONCLUSION: As a result of this study, we found the exact localization of L-12-LO in murine nasal mucosa, and we also found the different expression of L-12-LO between the respiratory and olfactory mucosa. This fact suggests the possible involvement of L-12-LO in the development of murine respiratory mucosa.

Nutrition Research and Practice 2013;7(1):66-71
This study analyzes important factors of foodservice in school through comparison of students' satisfaction of using foodservice in Korea and US in order to meet students' expectations. The survey was composed of 4 categories including menu, service, hygiene, and facility and it was carried out in both countries to evaluate satisfaction. First, comparison of satisfaction between two countries was made using t-test. Secondly, multiple regression was performed to identify factors affecting satisfaction. As a result Korean students were more satisfied than American students in all aspects. However, regardless of nationality, the top three factors affecting the students' satisfaction were the same. The predictors were food taste (Korean 0.375 and American 0.350), menu variety (Korean 0.305 and American 0.278), and service line (Korean 0.226 and American 0.192). Despite the similarity of the predicators, it can be concluded that the difference in satisfaction level between the two nationscan be explained by the approaches to create comfortable and acceptable changes in schools' foodservice. Korea has been increasing the foodservice quality based on their objectives to provide students comfortable and positive environment when eating nutritious meals. However, US have made their main objectives on making changes to decrease youth obesity. Foodservice improvements according to continuous evaluations and surveys are necessary in order to increase students' satisfaction.

10.Case Report of Recurrent Osteoma at the Grafted Bone.
Journal of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons 2006;33(3):367-370
Surgical curettage or en bloc excision are the usual choice of treatment for osteoma. Local recurrence of osteoma after surgical treatment is not very common. We report a case of osteoma recurred at the grafted bone. A 5 x 8 cm sized osteoma of frontal bone was excised and then the defect was covered with calvarian bone and rib bone. Six years after reconstruction, recurrence from grafted area was noted. We completely removed the osteoma with enough normal tissue around it, after checking that the grafted bone has changed into an osteoma through a bicoronal incision. Then we covered the defect with a rib bone. The tissue was confirmed histologically as an osteoma. The recurrence of the tumor at the bone grafted site after osteoma excision is probably due to the fact that we covered grafted bone with periosteum left over osteoma. Therefore, we can learn that when we excise osteoma, galea should be carefully separated from the periphery of the tumor and that the periosteum should be completely removed, to prevent the osteoma from recurrence.
