Objective To use Q value method to assess the effect of combination therapy with vitamin E and vitamin C for idiopathic asthenospermia. Methods 76 patients diagnosed as idiopathic asthenospermia by computer-assisted semen analysis according to the WHO criteria were selected at the andrology clinic from August 2012 to November 2013. Malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration was measured by using thiobarbituric acid (TBA) assay. The patients were randomly divided into three groups. Vit C group received vitamin C 200 mg thrice daily, vit E group received vitamin E 100 mg thrice daily , and the combination group received vitamins E and C for 12 weeks. Repeat semen analysis and MDA measurement were conducted after treatment, and the Q value which evaluated whether a synergistic interaction existed was calculated. Results MDA concentration decreased in all the groups, with the lowest concentration in the combination group. While all the groups achieved improvement in term of progressive motility , with the combination group presented far more better than the other two groups , exhibiting a synergistic interaction, with a Q value of 1.18. Conclusion Combination therapy with vitamin E and vitamin C has a marked internal synergistic effect on antioxidation in the treatment of idiopathic asthenospermia.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between lymph node metastases and the prognosis of uterine cervical cancer patients diagnosed at Ⅲ C1p after abdominal surgery. Methods:The clinical data of 350 uterine cervical cancer patients preoperatively confirmed as 2018 International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage Ⅰ B-Ⅱ A who underwent abdominal hysterectomy followed by postoperative concurrent chemoradiotherapy between January 2012 and December 2019 at Subei People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province were retrospectively analyzed, and there were 81 patients postoperatively diagnosed at stage Ⅲ C1p. Kaplan-Meier method was used to analyze the survival of patients stratified by different factors, and multivariate Cox proportional risk model was used to analyze the factors affecting the prognosis of patients. Results:Among 81 uterine cervical cancer patients diagnosed at stage Ⅲ C1p after abdominal surgery, 79 cases were successfully followed up. Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that patients with parametrial infiltration, the number of metastatic lymph nodes > 2, metastatic lymph node rate > 20 and common iliac lymph node metastasis had worse disease-free survival (DFS) and the overall survival (OS) (all P < 0.05). Multivariate Cox proportional analysis showed that the number of metastatic lymph nodes > 2 ( HR = 5.38,95% CI 1.30-22.20, P = 0.020) was an independent risk factor for OS; the number of metastatic lymph nodes >2 ( HR = 5.99, 95% CI 1.45-24.77, P = 0.013), common iliac lymph node metastasis ( HR = 4.91, 95% CI 1.17-20.55, P = 0.029) were independent risk factors for DFS. Conclusion:Lymph node metastasis may be associated with the prognosis of uterine cervical cancer patients diagnosed at stage Ⅲ C1p after abdominal surgery. The number of metastatic lymph nodes > 2 is a adverse influencing factor for OS and DFS.

Objective:To study the effect of internal drainage tube and T tube in laparoscopic common bile duct exploration. Methods:The data of 103 patients who underwent laparoscopic common bile duct exploration for the treatment of choledocholithiasis from January 2016 to April 2021 in Dongguan Kanghua Hospital were analyzed, including 50 males and 53 females, aged (50.3±17.2) years old, the age range was 15 to 90 years old. A total of 103 patients were randomly divided into T tube group ( n=60), who received laparoscopic cholecystectomy + choledocholithotomy and stone removal+ T tube drainage, and self-dropping stent group ( n=43), who received laparoscopic cholecystectomy + choledocholithotomy and stone removal + placed with self-dropping stent. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage, postoperative hospital stay and incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The operation time of self-dropping stent group was (107.2±26.1) min, intraoperative blood loss 10(5, 10) ml, and postoperative hospital stay (6.5±3.5) d, which were better than those of T tube group (143.5±52.7) min, 10(10, 20) ml, (8.8±3.8) d, the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). There were no significant difference in postoperative drainage volume and postoperative complications between the two groups (both P>0.05). Conclusion:The internal drainage tube in laparoscopic common bile duct exploration is a safe and reliable surgical method for the treatment of choledocholithiasis, which can significantly shorten the hospitalization time of patients.

Objective To evaluate the potential clinical value of T2 mapping and mDixon Quant in the diagnosis of early interver-tebral disc degeneration. Methods A total of 79 volunteers who underwent lumbar MRI examination were enrolled. All subjects were examined for 3.0T MR with T2WI,T2 mapping, and mDixon Quant while recording the condition of low back pain. The differ-ences between T2 mapping(map)value and fat fraction(FF)values of the vertebral(V)and nucleus pulposus(NP)within the Pfir-rmann Ⅰ and Pfirrmann Ⅱ intervertebral disc(grade Ⅰ 76,grade Ⅱ 87)were statistically analyzed.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analyses were performed for meaningful parameters. Results V-FF showed a mild positive correlation with degenera-tive intervertebral disc lesions, and NP-FF and NP-map values showed a mild negative correlation with lesions. There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in V-FF(P<0.001),NP-FF(P=0.005),and NP-map(P<0.001).Some measure-ments had statistically significant differences when different intervertebral disc segments were compared. Conclusion V-FF,NP-FF,and NP-map are associated with intervertebral disc degeneration.T2 mapping and mDixon Quant are potentially valuable as diagnostic tools to quantitatively assess early intervertebral disc degeneration and help diagnose.
