Doctor WANG Zhi-zhong in the Southern Song Dynasty proposed the acupoint view of "location of disease", which explained the connotation of acupoints from the angle of clinic. Its meaning included two levels, one level meant pathological change on the body surface, that was the location of acupuncture diagnosis-treatment, and the other one indicated that the body surface which was the reflecting point of pathological change on the distal area or inside the body was the location of acupuncture diagnosis-treatment. The specific connotations of clinical acupoints were: location of pathogenic factors or reflection of pathogenic factors, regularity between acupoints un- der disease and specific organ, morphological differences and positioning variability after acupoints under disease, and acupoints examination, diagnosis and treatment.

3.Effect of chronic intermittent hypoxia on genioglossus and its intervention by adiponectin

Objective To investigate the effects of chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) on electromyograph (EMG) and uhrastructure of geniogloasus (GG) and the interventive effects with adiponectin supplement. Methods Forty-two healthy male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control(A), CIH (B) and adiponeetin treatment (C) groups with 14 rats in each. CIH was performed 8 hours per day for5 weeks in both group B and C. In group C, transvenous injection of adiponectin of 10μg dosage each time, twice a week for 5 weeks. While in group A and B, transvenous injection of saline was performed twice a week for 5 weeks. At the beginning of 6th week the GG EMG voltages were measured before, during and following hypoxia stimulation by inserted bipolar needle electrodes and compared among three groups. Transmission electron microscope was used for observation of uhrastrueture of GG. Results The serum adiponectin level in group B (1226.0±112.0) ng/ml((-)x±s) was significantly lower than that in group A (2491.8±117.9) ng/ml, q=38.2, P<0.01), and adiponectin level in group C (1988.3± 114.7)ng/ml was significantly higher than that in group B(q=23.0, P<0.01). Comparison of GG EMG activity showed that the baseline amplitude of GG EMG before hypoxia stimulation was significantly lower in group B than that in both group A and group C (all P<0.01). At the 5th min of hypoxia stimulation the GG EMG activities were significantly enhanced among three groups (all P<0.01). Such an enhancement was the most evident in group A but the least remarkable in group B, with a significant difference among three groups(q_(ab)=17.5;q_(ac)=8.9;q_(bc)=8.6, all P<0.01). 15 min,30 min and45 min after hypoxia stimulation the amplitude of GG EMG remained at relative higher levels in group A and C, significantly higher than that in group B (all P<0.01). CIH could cause significant ultrastructural pathological changes such as myofibril discontinuities, lysis of myofilament, edema of mitochondria and disruption of cristae, vacuolus and lysis of some mitochondria in group B. Venous supplement of adiponectin could improve pathological changes resulting from CIH. Conclusions CIH could resulted in pathological changes in EMG and ultrastructure of GG, which might be associated with hypoadiponectinemia caused by CIH.

5.Computer simulation by passenger wound analysis of vehicle collision.

OBJECTIVE:
To reconstruct the course of vehicle collision, so that to provide the reference for forensic identification and disposal of traffic accidents.
METHODS:
Through analyzing evidences left both on passengers and vehicles, technique of momentum impulse combined with multi-dynamics was applied to simulate the motion and injury of passengers as well as the track of vehicles.
RESULTS:
Model of computer stimulation perfectly reconstructed phases of the traffic collision, which coincide with details found by forensic investigation.
CONCLUSION
Computer stimulation is helpful and feasible for forensic identification in traffic accidents.

6.Characteristics and biomechanical mechanism of riding injuries in accidents of bicycles collided by motor vehicles.

OBJECTIVE:
To study the characteristics and biomechanical mechanism of riding injuries involving bicycles collided by motor vehicles.
METHODS:
The real traffic accident cases of bicycles collided by motor vehicles, including the information of scenes, bicycles, motor vehicles, rider wounds and traffic directions, were collected. Retrospective method was used to study these riding injuries. In addition, typical cases were selected to simulate traffic accident courses with computer simulation software, and the dynamic data like acceleration, force, moment were cxtracted to compare with those in the real cases.
RESULTS:
There were no difference of occurring frequency between cases with or without riding injuries, as well as between one-side-collision and front- or back-collision. The riding injuries seemed less in accidents involving large-scale vehicles. The frequency of riding injuries increased with vehicle speed. The wound location was low on collision side and high on opposite.
CONCLUSION
Analysis of riding injury characteristic in traffic accidents and their biomechanical mechanism would be helpful for estimation of traffic manner.

Objective To construct RhoA siRNA plasmid expression vector.Methods According to the computer aided design,RhoA-specific siRNA gene was synthesized and cloned into the RNAi-Ready Pgenesil-1 Vector.The constructed RhoA-RNAi plasmid were transfected into human HEPG2 cell.Western blot was used to detect the effect of RhoA-RNAi plasmid.Results The recombinant was cloned and the se- quence was obtained.RhoA-RNAi plasmid can down-regulate the expression of RhoA in human hepatocel- lular carcinoma cell line HEPG2.Conclusion Successfully cloning the recombinant makes it possible for searching new mechanism of RhoA in hepatocellular carcinoma.
8.Changes in genioglossus and their association with serum adiponectin levels in rats subjected to chronic intermittent hypoxia.

BACKGROUNDThe genioglossus (GG) is involved in the maintenance of an open airway for effective breathing. Although the pathogenesis of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) was closely associated with GG dysfunction, its causes and possible treatment have not been elucidated. The aim of the study was to investigate the effects of chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) on serum adiponectin levels, electromyograph (EMG) activity and ultrastructure of GG, as well as the effect of an adiponectin supplement in anesthetized rats.
METHODSForty-two healthy male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control (A), CIH (B) and adiponectin treatment (C) groups, 14 rats in each group. CIH was performed eight hours per day for five weeks in both groups B and C. Group C received transvenous injection of adiponectin at the dosage of 10 microg per injection, twice a week for five weeks. At the end of the 5th week the GG EMG voltage was measured and compared among the three groups. Transmission electron microscope was used to observe the ultrastructure of the GG.
RESULTSCIH caused significant hypoadiponectinemia, weakened activity of GG EMG at both baseline and hypoxia stimulation, and induced ultrastructural pathological changes, such as, myofibril discontinuities, lysis of myofilament, edema of mitochondria and disruption of cristae, vacuolus and lysis of some mitochondria. Venous supplement of adiponectin improved the above pathological changes resulting from CIH.
CONCLUSIONCIH resulted in pathological changes in GG's EMG and ultrastructure, which could be improved by supplement of adiponectin and be associated with hypoadiponectinemia caused by CIH.

9.Synthetic study of vonoprazan fumarate

Objective To develop a practical synthetic process of vonoprazan fumarate with high-yield and lower impurities to meet the quality requirements. Methods By using 5-(2-fluorophenyl)pyrrole-3-carboxaldehyde as the starting material,the qualified vonoprazan fumarate was synthesized via the following steps:①N-sulfonylation and the chloride impurity was removed by recrystalli-zation from MeOH;②the aldehyde was converted to amine by reductive amination,followed by forming the vonoprazan chloride to re-move the dimethylamino impurity;③vonoprazan free base was obtained by neutralization and then converted to fumarate at room tem-perature and finally recrystallized from MeOH/H2O(1:1). Results An impurity controllable synthetic process was developed with a 4%total yield improving. The final product was confirmed by ESI-MS and 1H NMR. Conclusion The synthetic process with single im-purity less than 0.1%and purity above 99.5%was obtained and suitable for scale production of vonoprazan fumarate.
10.Surveillance on Keshan disease in Huangling County, Shannxt Province in 2007

Objective To monitor the prevalence of Keshan disease in Huangling County, Shaanxi Previnee in 2007. Methods All local residents in surveinance area of Keshan disease in Diantou and Yaoping Township of Huangling County, were surveyed and given overall examinations by electrocardiography. The patients of latent and chronic Keshan disease were examined by X-ray. The selenium contents in blood and hair were monitored by fluorospectrophotometry in surveillance and non-surveillance areas. Results No new ease of acute or sub-acute patient was found. Latent and chronic patients detected accounted for 3.92% (35/893). Only 1 ease of new latent Keshan disease was newly found. Major feature of electrocardiographic abnormality was ST-T change. By X-ray, there were 27 eases with a normal heart, 20 eases with mild enlargement, 20 eases with medium enlargement, and 16 eases with marked enlargement. Serological selenium eoncentrations were (38.67±19.58), (48.55±22.36), (67.29±17.32)μg/L, respectively in patients, internal and external eontrols(F=16.291 ,P<0.01). Selenium contents of children's hair were (0.376±0.101), (0.372±0.085), (0.436±0.085)μg/L, respectively(F= 17.032, P<0.01). Conclusions Cases of diagnosed Keshan disease were decreased compared with the previous years. There were new eases of latent Keshan disease in Huangling County, Shaanxi Province.
