1.The influence of PKRP plus titanium laser lithotripsy on PSA and sexual function in prostate hyperplasia patients complicated with bladder stones
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(20):3072-3074
Objective To explore the influence of transurethral plasmakinetic resection of the prostate (PKRP) plus titanium laser lithotripsy on prostate-specific antigen(PSA) and sexual function in prostate hyperplasia patients complicated with bladder stones. Methods 62 patients with prostate hyperplasia and bladder stones were randomly divided into the observation group (n =31 cases) and the control group (n =31 cases). The patients in the observation group were operated through PKRP plus titanium laser lithotripsy, while the patients in the control group were operated through transurethral prostatectomy (TURP) plus pneumatic lithotripsy.Serum PSA was detected before and after operation.Sexual function was evaluated six months after operation. Results The IIEF-5 score in two groups were all decreased after operation.Postoperative IIEF-5 score of the observation group had no significant difference compared with that before operation(t =0.3896,P > 0.05).Postoperative IIEF-5 score of the control group had significant difference compared with that before operation (t =4.2820,P < 0.05).The difference between the two groups was significant (t =3.7473,P < 0.05).Serum PSA in two groups were all significantly decreased 1 month after operation(t =2.0423,15.3077,P < 0.01).It in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(t =13.2142,P < 0.05).Conclusion PKRP plus titanium laser lithotripsy can decrease serum PSA and improve sexual function in prostate hyperplasia patients complicated with bladder stones.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of radical cystectomy with orthotopic ileal neobled-der. Methods 28 cases of bladder tumor treated with radical cystectomy with ileal orthotopic neobladder were studiedretrospectively. Results All patients achieved excellent continence, whereas possessory patients needed time-lapse e-mietion at nighttime. The mean bladder capacity for the entire group was 330 ml. Residual urine was less than 70 ml.All of these patients have been followed up for 4~58 months with a mean of 18 months. They were survival with no re-currences except 1 case. Good urinary stream was reported. A little operative complications occurred. ConclusionThe operation of radical cystectomy with orthotopic ileal neobladder might be an ideal way of bladder replacement, characterized by large capacity, low pressure, orthotopie continent urination.

Objective To investigate the expressions of HBXIP and GRIM-19 in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues and their clinic significance. Methods Hepatocellular carcinoma tissue (n=42) and normal liver tissue (n=28) were collected from Tianjin First Central Hospital, immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressions of HBXIP and GRIM-19 in these two groups. Results Rate of cells with positive expressions of HBXIP in hepatocellular carcinoma and normal liver tissues were 80.95%(34/42)and 42.86%(12/28)respectively;Rate of cells with positive expression of GRIM-19 in hepato?cellular carcinoma tissues and normal liver tissues was 40.48%(17/42)and 75.00%(21/28)respectively, and the difference between these two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);The expression of HBXIP was higher but the expression of GRIM-19 was lower in poor differentiated and stageⅢ-IV cells than those in well and moderate differentiated cells and in stage I-II, cells. What′s more, the expression of GRIM-19 is higher in tissue without portal thrombosis than that in tissue with portal thrombosis. The expression of HBXIP was negatively correlated with GRIM-19 expression(rS=-0.400,P<0.01). Conclusion The abnormal expressions of HBXIP and GRIM-19 may play important roles in the process of development and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
