Objective To analyze the prevalence of hypertension in coal mine male workers and its influencing factors.
Methods A total of 1 772 coal mine male workers from a coal mining group were selected as research subjects using multi
stage
complex sampling method. The prevalence of hypertension and its influencing factors were analyzed. Results The
prevalence of hypertension was 33.0%(585/1 772). Logistic regression analysis of complex sampling showed that body mass
index, family history of hypertension, alcohol-drinking, tea-drinking, and snoring were independent risk factors for
hypertension(all P<0.05),after adjusting for the effects of other inclusion factors on the basis of age. The risk of hypertension
in coal mine male workers was higher in those with overweight and obesity than in normal weight(all P<0.01),higher in those
with family history of hypertension than in no history of hypertension(P<0.01),and higher in tea drinkers than in no tea
drinkers (P<0.05). The more the alcohol consumption and the higher the frequency of snoring, the higher the risk of
hypertension(all P<0.01). These factors have a dose-response relationship. Conclusion The body mass index, family history
of hypertension,alcohol-drinking,tea-drinking and snoring can affect the prevalence of hypertension in coal mine male workers.

AIM:To investigate the renal function and pathological changes in Npc1 mutant ( Npc1-/-) mice. METHODS:Different genotypes of Niemann-Pick disease type C1 (Npc1) mice were identified by PCR.Subsequently, the renal function of Npc1-/-and Npc1 +/+mice at postnatal day 60 ( P60) was evaluated by measuring the activity and con-tent of important indicators in the serum including ALT , AST, LDH, urea, UA and Cr.Furthermore,β-galactosidase stai-ning and Masson staining were performed to examine the aging and fibrosis of the renal tissues , respectively .RESULTS:Compared with the Npc1 +/+mice, the body weight and kidney weight had a significant reduction ( P<0.01) in the Npc1-/-mice.The results of hepatic and renal functions showed that the activities of ALT , AST and LDH, and contents of urea, UA and Cr had marked increases (P<0.05) in the Npc1-/-mice.Moreover, the results of senescence-associatedβ-galacto-sidase staining in the renal tissues demonstrated accelerated aging in the Npc1-/-mice (P<0.01), and these results were confirmed by Masson staining, which clearly showed the formation of collagen fibers (P<0.01).CONCLUSION:Muta-tion of the Npc1 gene results in abnormal lipid metabolism , which accelerates kidney senescence by promoting fibrosis in the renal tissue and subsequently causes reduction in renal function .

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of fire-needle acupuncture in treating chronic cough after a cold. Method Totally 120 eligible subjects with chronic cough after a cold were randomized into two groups: 60 cases in the treatment group were intervened by acupuncture with fire-needles, while the other 60 cases in the control group were by acupuncture with ordinary filiform needles plus cupping. Result The recovery rate was 85.0% in the treatment group versus 65.0% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Fire-needle acupuncture can produce a significant efficacy in treating chronic cough after a cold, and it has a rapid onset of action, lower cost, and it’s easy-to-operate.

Objective To investigate the design of cuffed pediatric tracheal tubes and compare the effects of different tracheal intubation depth placement strategies on the position of the tracheal tube tip and cuff of 5 tracheal tube brands. Methods A total of 180 children who were admitted to Tianjin Children's Hospital from October 2020 to December 2021,with endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia, aged 1-6 years, were enrolled. The length of the subglottic airway was measured by electronic bronchoscopy.Dimensional data from 5 cuffed pediatric tracheal tube brands were recorded, including the length of the tracheal tube cuff, the distance from the tip of the tracheal tube to the upper edge of the cuff, and the tip of the tracheal tube to the lower edge of the tube glottis marker line the distance.Calculation of the required cuffed endotracheal tube internal diameter(ID)for 180 pediatric patients was performed based on the Motoyama formula, the positions of tracheal tube tip and upper cuff border were calculated for each of the 180 tracheas using depth mark to based tracheal tube placement, placement of the tracheal tube tip at 2 cm above the carina, and mid-tracheal tube placement. Results There were differences in the dimensional data of the 5 cuffed pediatric tracheal tube brands.Depth mark-based tracheal tube placement resulted in the incidence rate of tube tip to carina placement less than 1 cm was 3.9%-67.8%,and the highest incidence of bronchial intubation is Ruijing,up to 17.8%.The tracheal tube tip was placed 2 cm above the carina, and no improper placement of the tracheal tube cuff and tube tip was found in all brands.Mid-tracheal tube placement led to 100%subglottic and supraglottic tracheal tube cuff positions, except Weili. Conclusions There are differences in design between different brands of cuffed pediatric tracheal tube, and some of the design deficiencies may lead to the risk of airway complications. The method used to guide the insertion depth and the brand of cuffed tracheal tubes can affect the tracheal tube position.Placement of the tracheal tube tip at 2 cm above the carina allowed safe tracheal tube placement in children aged 1-6 years.

Translationally controlled tumor proteins (TCTP) and SNF1- related protein kinase (SnRK1) are conserved and widely present in eukaryotic cells. TCTP regulates cell division, plant growth and development, and mediates plant resistance against pathogen infection. SnRK1 participates in a range of physiological processes including sugar metabolism and resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses. Previous work in our laboratory demonstrated that wheat TCTP can respond to Puccinia triticina infection and induce host defense responses. In order to further investigate the mechanism of TaTCTP in wheat resistance to Puccinia triticina infection, we used TAP (tandem affinity purification) and mass spectrometry to screen the potential interactants of TaTCTP. A SNF1- related protein kinase (SnRK1) was identified as a potential interacting protein of TaTCTP. The results of yeast two-hybrid assay showed that TCTP could interact with SnRK1 in yeast, and the yeast carrying TCTP and SnRK1 could grow on SD/-Leu/-Trp/-His/-Ade (SD/-LWHA) medium. The fluorescence signal of the interaction between TCTP and SnRK1 was found to be distributed in the cytoplasm in the Bi-fluorescense complementation experiment. Co-IP experiments further showed that TCTP and SnRK1 could interact in plant cells. This study lays an important foundation for further studying the mechanism of TaTCTP in the interaction between wheat and Puccinia triticina, and it play a great influence on further improving the molecular mechanism of wheat resistant to Puccinia triticina.
