Fifteen morphologically and structurally complete sacrum specimens of normotrophic adult females were choosen. Distances between posterior sacral foramina and median sacral crest, and between the cores of adjacent posterior sacral foramina were measured. Then statistical analysis was done so as to provide objective anatomical evidence for the surface localization of Baliao points. The average distance between Shangliao (BL 31) and median sacral crest was (2.08 ± 0.19) cm; and the average distance between Ciliao (BL 32) and median sacral crest was (1.75 ± 0.12) cm; Zhongliao (BL 33), (1.59 ± 0.15) cm; Xialiao (BL 34), (1.56 ± 0.15) cm. And the distance of S₁-S₂ was (2.36 ± 0.31) cm averagely; S₂-S₃, (1.98 ± 0.23) cm; S₃-S₄, (1.71 ± 0.18) cm. It is considered that to locate Baliao points, Ciliao (BL 32) needs to be ascertained firstly.

OBJECTIVES:
The long-term trends of cognitive function and its associations with physical performance remain unclear, particularly in Asian populations. The study objectives were to determine cognitive trajectories in middle-aged and elderly Chinese individuals, as well as to examine differences in physical performance across cognitive trajectory groups.
METHODS:
Data were extracted from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. A total of 5,701 participants (47.7% male) with a mean age of 57.8 (standard deviation, 8.4) years at enrollment were included. A group-based trajectory model was used to identify cognitive trajectory groups for each sex. Grip strength, repeated chair stand, and standing balance tests were used to evaluate physical performance. An ordered logistic regression model was employed to analyze differences in physical performance across cognitive trajectory groups.
RESULTS:
Three cognitive trajectory groups were identified for each sex: low, middle, and high. For both sexes, higher cognitive trajectory groups exhibited smaller declines with age. In the fully adjusted model, relative to the low trajectory group, the odds ratios (ORs) of better physical performance in the middle cognitive group were 1.37 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.17 to 1.59; p<0.001) during follow-up and 1.40 (95% CI, 1.20 to 1.64; p<0.001) at the endpoint. The ORs in the high trajectory group were 1.94 (95% CI, 1.61 to 2.32; p<0.001) during follow-up and 2.04 (95% CI, 1.69 to 2.45; p<0.001) at the endpoint.
CONCLUSIONS
Cognitive function was better preserved in male participants and individuals with higher baseline cognitive function. A higher cognitive trajectory was associated with better physical performance over time.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2021;29(4):1236-1241
OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the comprehensive laboratory test data of BCR-ABL1 fusion gene and JAK2 V617F mutation co-expressed in myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN) patients, and investigate its relative clinical significance.
METHODS:
Data of 1 332 MPN patients were comprehensively analyzed, BCR-ABL1 (P190/P210/P230) fusion gene and JAK2 V617F mutation were detected by real time-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technique, the CALR, MPL, JAK2 12 and 13 exon mutations were detected by the First Generation Sequencing, the bone marrow cell morphology and pathological characteristics were evaluated by bone marrow smear and biopsy technique, the immune phenotypes of bone marrow cells were evaluated by flow cytometry, the chromosome karyotypes of bone marrow cells were analyzed by chromosome G banding technique.
RESULTS:
Four of the 1 332 patients were found to have the co-existence of BCR-ABL1 fusion gene and the JAK2 V617F mutation, with a 0.3% incidence and a median age of 70 years old, including 2 cases of polycythemia vera, 1 case of primary myelofibrosis, and 1 case of chronic myeloid leukemia-accelerated phase. The clues of double positive genes of such patients at the time of initial diagnose could not be cued only by age, physical signs and cell morphology, they should be analyzed by comprehensive test data.
CONCLUSION
The co-existence of BCR-ABL1 fusion gene and JAK2 V617F mutation in the same case is a kind of disease with special clinical significance. The application of multiple detection methods can improve the detection of this disease, which is conducive to early detection, reasonable diagnosis and treatment by clinicians.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2020;28(2):81-86
Objective:To investigate the relationship between caspase activation and recruitment domain 8 ( CARD8) gene rs2043211 polymorphism and the age of onset for large artery atherosclerosis (LAA) stroke in Chinese Han population. Methods:Based on Nanjing Stroke Registry Program, patients with LAA stroke from January 2010 to December 2014 were included retrospectively and genotyped. Grouping according to different genetic models, the age distribution among different genotypes were compared, and Kaplan-Meier curve was used to compare the age-related cumulative non-onset frequency of the patients with different genotypes. Results:A total of 738 patients were admitted and 717 (97.15%) were successfully genotyped and included in the study. There were no significant differences in age, sex, body mass index, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, smoking and drinking history among the genotype groups. Patients with T allele had earlier onset under codominant model (AA genotype: 61.68 years, 95% confidence interval [ CI] 59.92-63.45 years; AT genotype: 60.51 years, 95% CI 59.41-61.60 years; TT genotype: 60.44 years, 95% CI 58.96-61.92 years). Kaplan-Meier curve analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the age-related cumulative non-onset frequency between patients with different genotypes (log-rank test, P=0.041). Similar results in the female was observed in the stratified analysis (log-rank test, P=0.001). Conclusions:T allele of CARD8 rs2043211 is associated with the early age of onset of large artery atherosclerosis stroke in Chinese Han population, especially in female patients.

Objective:To explore the association of different obesity measurement indexes on serum C-reactive protein (CRP) in Chinese adult women. Methods:The data were obtained from baseline and follow-up surveys of the urban Breast Cancer Screening Program in Shuangliu District, Chengdu. A total of 441 adult women were included in the study. A questionnaire survey, physical examination, and laboratory testing were conducted on the subjects. Multivariate logistic regression model, two-level mixed effects logistic regression model, and restricted cubic spline method were used to investigate the linear and nonlinear correlation between different obesity measurement indexes and serum CRP in adult women. Results:For every 1 unit increase in BMI, waist circumference (WC), and adiposity, the risk of elevated serum CRP or exacerbation of chronic low-grade inflammation in adult women increased by 16.5%, 5.0%, and 11.1% ( P<0.05), respectively. Both BMI and adiposity were nonlinear correlated with serum CRP. Using BMI=24.0 kg/m 2 as the reference point, serum CRP level increased with the increase of BMI when BMI >24.0 kg/m 2. Using adiposity=30% as the reference point, serum CRP level increased with the increase of adiposity when adiposity >30%. Conclusions:Overall, obesity reflected by BMI had the strongest association with serum CRP in adult women, followed by body fat content reflected by adiposity, and central obesity reflected by WC had the weakest association with CRP. Adult women with BMI >24.0 kg/m 2 or adiposity >30% are at high risk for obesity-related inflammatory manifestations.
