Objective To observe the efficacy of amiodarone combined with enalapril in cardioversion of atrial fibrillation and maintenance of sinus rhythm in patients with hypertension and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.Methods 60 patients with hypertension and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation were selected as study objects.They were divided into study group and control group according to the random number table,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with amiodarone combined with nifedipine,the observation group was given amiodarone combined with enalapril.After 1,3 and 7 days of treatment,the rates of cardioversion of atrial fibrillation were observed.The rates of maintenance of sinus rhythm were observed after 3,6,9 and 12 months of treatment.The left atrial diameter was calculated by echocardiography.The systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were detected by blood pressure monitor.Results The rates of cardioversion of atrial fibrillation in the study group and the control group after 3 and 7 days of treatment were 86.67％ and 63.33％,100.00％ and 86.67％,respectively,the differences were statistically significant (all P ＜ 0.05).The rates of maintenance of sinus rhythm in the study group and the control group after 6,9,and 12 months of treatment were 83.33％ and 57.69％,80.00％ and 53.85％,76.67％ and 50.00％,the differences were statistically significant (x2 =4.487,4.368,4.314,all P ＜ 0.05).There were no significant differences in SBP and DBP between the study group and the control group at 3,6,9 and 12 months after treatment (all P ＜0.05).The left atrial diameter of the study group after 12 months of treatment was (36.73 ± 2.66)mm,which was significantly lower than (38.78 ± 2.64)mm in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05) Conclusion Amiodarone combined with enalapril can improve the conversion rate and the rate of sinus rhythm maintenance in patients with hypertension and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation,and effectively control the atrial enlargement and improve the clinical prognosis.

BACKGROUND:Danhong injection, scavenging free radicals and inhibiting lipid peroxidation, can improve microenvironment injury after cerebral infarction. OBJECTIVE:To explore the influence of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s combined with Danhong injection on expression of GAP-43 and Bcl-2 after cerebral infarction in rats. METHODS:Sixty Wistar rats were selected to prepare models of cerebral infarction by middle cerebral artery occlusion and then randomly divided into control group, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel group, and combination group. Control group received tail vein injection of PBS. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel group received tail vein injection of 2.5×109/L bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel suspension. Combination group received injection of 2.5× 109/L bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel suspension+2 mL/kg Danhong injection, for 5 consecutive days, once a day. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There were no significant differences in the neurological dysfunction scores among the three groups at 24 hour and 3 days after implantation (P>0.05). The neurological dysfunction scores in the ombination group were significantly lower than those in the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel group and control group at 1 and 2 weeks after transplantation (P<0.05). In the combination group, GAP-43 and Bcl-2 expression was significantly higher than the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel group and control group (P<0.05). Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel transplantation combined with Danhong injection can significantly promote the local expression of GAP-43 and Bcl-2 after cerebral infarction, and has obvious inhibitory effects on cel apoptosis in rats with cerebral infarction.

Objective To investigate the formaldehyde pollution in the indoor air in some newly decorated houses in Beijing and analyze the dynamic changes in order to find the change law of formaldehyde. Methods 54 residences were randomly chosen in Beijing to monitor the formaldehyde levels. The temperature and humidity were recorded at the same time. Covariance analysis was used to analyze the influence of temperature and humidity on formaldehyde pollution levels. Results In six consecutive months of monitoring after the decoration, the monthly average concentrations of formaldehyde in the indoor air were 0.04 mg/m3, 0.04 mg/m3, 0.13 mg/m3, 0.15 mg/m3, 0.02 mg/m3 and 0.03 mg/m3 respectively. The influence of temperature and humidity on formaldehyde levels was significant. Conclusion The formaldehyde level in the indoor air after decoration is mainly affected by the season and time. Residents should open the windows more often and it is suggested to live in the newly decorated houses in six months as the decoration finished.

Results The monthly average concentrations of benzene series in six months after decoration changed obviously while the temperature and time changed. Conclusion The benzene series level in the indoor air after decoration is affected by temperature mainly. Residents should open the windows for 3 months at least in order to avoid benzene series pollution.

Objective To improve the capability identifying the causes of dyspepsia. Methods Standardized questionnaires were used to investigate the 2623 dyspeptic outpatients among four hospitals in Guan-zhong area, Shaanxi Province. All of the patients were followed up for 4-24 weeks, and finally diagnosed according to consistent criteria. Results The frequency rate of functional dyspepsia (FD) was 50.5%, benign organic causes were present in 39.3% and malignant diseases accounted for the remaining 10.2%. In the patients who had marked alarm symptoms, the proportion of benign organic causes and malignant diseases rose to 48.3% and 29.8% respectively, significantly higher than that without alarm symptoms (33.9% and 2.7% respectively)(P

AIM: To observe the change of Guanxi Suhe Pill(GXSH) in cardiomyocytes suffering from hydrogen peroxide-induced injury due to replacement of Aristolochia debilis sieb.et Zucc by Radix inulae. METHODS: Myocardial cells from neonatal SD rats were cultured in dulbecco's modified eagle's medium(DMEM).The primary culture cardiomyocytes were injured by hydrogen peroxide(1 mmol/L) for 4 h,and serum containing GXSH was added to the medium at the same time.The creatine kinase(CK) activity,lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) activity and malondialdehyde(MDA) content in culture medium were determined.Intracellular superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity,the activity of Na~+-K~+-ATPase and Ca~(2+)-Mg~(2+)-ATPase in the cardiomyocytes were also observed. RESULTS: GXSH containing Aristolochia debilis sieb.et Zucc,GXSH containing Radix inulae,and GXSH without above both herbs significantly inhibited the release of LDH and CK,decreased the content of MDA and increased SOD activity,increased the volume of Na~+-K~+-ATPase and Ca~(2+)-Mg~(2+)-ATPase of hydrogen peroxide-injured cardiomyocytes.The effects of TG and BG were stronger significantly than those of QG on some parameters. CONCLUSION: GXSH all has a remarkable protective effect on cardiomyocytes suffering from hydrogen peroxide-induced injury without and with Aristolochia debilis sieb.et Zucc or taking the place of the GXSH containing Radix inulae do not influence its protective effects on cardiomyocytes suffereing from hydrogen peroxide-induced injury.

Objective To study the pharmacokinetics of the active component in series of Guanxin Suhe Pills including the prescription containing Radix Aristolochiae(QG),the prescription containing Radix Inulae(TG),and the prescription without any of them(BG) in Beagle dogs and to compare the pharmacokinetics among the series of prescription.Methods HPLC Method was developed to determine acid in plasma of Beagle dogs.Blood plasma was collected after series of Guanxin Suhe Pills were ig administrated to Beagle dogs 0—8 h later.The concentration of cinnamic acid in the plasma was determined and DAS 2.1 software was used in calculation of compartment model and pharmacokinetic parameters.Results The standard curve was linear from 0.031 25 to 32 mg/L in plasma of Beagle dogs,the lowest detectable limit was 31.25 ?g/L,the recovery rate of the method was over 90 % with satisfactory relative standard deviations(RSDs) of intra-day and inter-day both lower than 5 %.The metabolism of cinnamic acid in plasma of Beagle dogs after medication of series in QG,TG,and BG all fitted in a first order absorption of two-compartment model.The peak concentration and the area under curve in TG and BG groups had the higher tendency than those in the QG group,but there was no significant difference among the three groups.Conclusion The series of Guanxin Suhe Pills all have a similar pharmacokinetic process.Taking away the Radix Aristolochiae from the previous prescription that including the Radix Aristolochiae or taking the place of the Radix Aristolochiae with Radix Inulae does not influence the pharmacokinetic process of the main active component.

Oblective To observe the effect of bile reflux on the intragastric pH. Methods We used ambulatory intragastric pH monitoring along with simultaneous Bilitec 2000 to measure the pH and absorbance of the mixed gastric juice diluted with bile with increasing bilirubin concentration in vitro and the yellow and clear gastric juice aspirated under endoscopy. In vivo,we studied 20 functional dispepsia patients for 24 h with simultaneous intragastric pH and bilirubin monitoring. Results In vitro dilutions,the absorbance value reached to 0. 900 while the concentration was only 20% ,but when the pH of the solution was more than 4,it′s concentration was already up to 60％. The mean absorbance of the yellow gastric juice(0. 348± 0. 131) was significantly higher than that of the clear juice (0. 008 ± 0. 003)(P＜0.05). The pH of 80％ yellow gastric juice was less than 4, the percentage was not significantly different from the clear samples (81％) (P＞0. 05). The pH showed no correlation with the absorbance in the yellow and clear groungs. Eight of the 12 patients with the spontaneous nocturnal episcodes of alkalinization had simultaneous increase of absorbance,4 of the 8 subjects with no aikalinization had increase of absorbance. Gonclusion In some concentration,bile reflux affect little on the intragastric pH.
