The hydrosoluble active constituent of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge has a wide range of physiological activities and pharmacological effects.Endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) comprise a cell population that has the capacity to circulate, proliferate and differentiate into mature endothelial cells but that has not yet acquired characteristic mature endothelial markers nor formed precursor cells of blood vessels.It was found that the hydrosoluble active constituent of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge could protect endothelial functions through modulation of EPCs functions, thus exerting therapeutic effects in endothelium injured related diseases.This paper reviewed the effects of the hydrosoluble active constituent of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge on EPCs functions.We hope that the paper could provide a reference for further utilization of hydrosoluble active constituent of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.

Xuan Fei Run Zao Decoction was used for treatment of 486 cases of psoriasis with a total effective rate of 90. 3%, so as to test and verify the TCM theory of the lung being in charge of the hair and the lung being closely related with derma tosis. Clinical study found that in patients of psoriasis there was humoral immunological hyperfunction, manifesting increases of IgG and IgA; trace elements copper and ferrum levels increased and zinc, manganese and calcium decreased In the hair: packed cell volume and viscosity of whole blood increased, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate increased. It is suggested that psoriasis is possibly related to changes of immunity, blood rheology and trace elements in the body.

Objective To propose A brain computer interface paradigm based on the combination of the motion-onset visual evoked potential(mVEP) and the steady state visual evoked potential(SSVEP).Methods By designing a 3 ×3 character spelling matrix,a vertical white bar in the column of matrix which flicks at a pre-set frequency induced the corresponding SSVEP.The vertical white bar also randomly moved horizontally so as to induce mVEP.Then the two types of features were extracted by time frequency analysis.Finally the support vector machine was applied to compare the target character identification rate between the proposed paradigm and the single mVEP paradigm.Results The target character identification accuracy of subject S1 and S6 was improved by about 2％ comparing the proposed paradigm to the single paradigm.Other subjects achieved the improvement of 6％ for the same performance comparison.The averaged identification accuracy of the proposed paradigm could reach 91.4％ if the same stimulus repeated for more than 3 times,while the accuracy of single paradigm achieved 85.6％.Conclusions The proposed brain computer interface paradigm could effectively induce many kinds of brain feature signals.The identification accuracy by the proposed paradigm is higher than that by the single paradigm for various numbers of repeated trials.The proposed paradigm of combined visual stimulus merges the motion induction and the flash frequency modulation together and hence reduces the stimulation time and increases the efficiency of the feature extraction.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of application of dezocine combined with sufentanil in patients under‐going thoracic surgery ,and discuss its security .Methods Selected 60 cases of patients undergoing thoracic surgery treatedn in the hospital from January to June 2013 ,then divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group randomly .ASA grade Ⅰ - Ⅱ ,the ob‐servation group took dezocine combined with sufentanil after the surgery ,the control group took sufentanil for analgesia ,then ob‐served the analgesia and sedative effect and the occurrence rate of adverse reaction between two groups of patients .Results The observation group′VAS pain score on postoperative 6 ,12 ,24 ,48 h were (3 .21 ± 0 .76)% ,(3 .01 ± 0 .77)% ,(2 .79 ± 0 .69)% , (2 .67 ± 0 .66)% and significantly better than the control group(P<0 .05);The observation group′Ramsay sedation score on post‐operative 6 ,12 ,24 ,48 h were (2 .12 ± 0 .23)% ,(2 .07 ± 0 .22)% ,(2 .02 ± 0 .24)% ,(2 .01 ± 0 .21)% ,the sedative effect was better than the control group(P<0 .05);48 h after the surgery the pressing times and effective analgesia pump frequency and adverse re‐action of the patients in the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The effect for se‐dation and analgesia of dezocine combined with sufentanil in patients undergoing thoracic surgery is better and safe .

Objective To investigate the clinical value of combined detection of H‐FABP with cTnI in the diagnosis of myo‐cardial damage caused by hypoglycemia .Methods Levels of blood H‐FABP and cTnI were examined at 0 to 3 h ,24 h ,48 h after hy‐poglycemia diagnosed ,and were compared with the control group .The levels of H‐FABP and cTnI at 24 h after hypoglycemia diag‐nosed were compared among different groups separated according to the decreasing extent of blood sugar (1 .0 to 2 .1 mmol/L ,<1 .0 mmol/L group) ,the duration of hypoglycemia (< 24 h ,≥ 24 h group) and clinical feature of hypoglycemia (symptom and no symptom group) .The sensitivity and specificity of H‐FABP and cTnI in myocardial damage was also statistical analyzed in this study . Results The statistic difference of the increasing H‐FABP levels was found for 0 to 3 h(P<0 .01) and 24 h (P<0 .01) ,but not found for 48 h(P>0 .05) .The statistic difference of the increasing cTnI levels existed for 24 h (P<0 .01) and 48 h (P<0 .01) ,but not for 0 to 3 h (P>0 .05) .The increasing extent of H‐FABP and cTnI levels was obvious for group with blood sugar <1 .0 mmol/L ,duration of hypoglycemia ≥24 h and have hypoglycemia symptom ,these data have obvious statistic difference compared with other groups(P<0 .05 ,P<0 .01 ,P<0 .01) .The sensitivity and specificity of H‐FABP methods were higher than those of cTnI ac‐cording to the 0 to 3 h and 24 h detection data ,while the opposite result was found for 48 h .Conclusion Combined detection of H‐FABP with cTnI could be well applied in the diagnosis of myocardial damage caused by hypoglycemia .

Objective To investigate the effect of spirolactone on cardiac function and serum brain natriuretic peptide in patients with chronic heart failure( CHF). Methods Eighty-four patients with CHF were randomly divided into control group( n=42 )and observation group( n=42 ). The patients in the control group were given conventional therapy,while in the observation group were given spirolactone( 20 mg/times,2 times/day)based on treatment of the control group for six months. The clinical effects and left ventricular end diastolic diameter( LVEDd ),left ventricular ejection fraction( LVEF ) and serum brain natriuretic peptide( BNP ) of pretherapy and post-treatment between the two groups were recorded and compared. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 95. 2%(40/42),obviously higher than that of control group(80. 9%(34/42),χ2=6. 468,P=0. 028). The levels of LVEDd and BNP in two groups after treatment were(57. 8 ± 6. 2)mm and (62. 4 ± 7. 8)mm,(364. 4 ± 32. 8)ng/L and(457. 4 ± 43. 2)ng/L,significantly lower than those at before treatment((64. 6 ± 7. 4)mm and(64. 8 ± 7. 6)mm,(867. 8 ± 78. 5)ng/L and(864. 4 ± 74. 8)ng/L),while LVEF in two groups after treatment were( 49. 8 ± 5. 4 )% and( 42. 6 ± 4. 6 )%,significantly higher than those before treatment((35. 2 ± 3. 9)% and(35. 4 ± 3. 5)%),and the differences were significant(t = -3. 264, 4. 626,-5. 373,-3. 932,5. 438,-6. 548;P﹤0. 05). Moreover the changes in observation group were obvious than those in control group in terms of LVEDd,BNP and LVEF( t = -3. 425,3. 644,-2. 846;P ﹤0. 05 ) . Conclusion Spironolactone can effectively decrease the serum brain natriuretic peptide levels,improve the cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure,and it is worthy of popularization and application.

Objective To investigate the difference of nerve behavior among the different types of fullterm small for gestational age infants(SGA) infants and the reasons.Methods The neonatal behavioral neurological assessment(NBNA) scores were given for 148 full-term SGA infants aged 7,14 and 28 days born in Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University.The comparason analysis was conducted among three types including symmetic,asymmetric and the mixture of them.Results Significant differences (P ＜ 0.05) were found between the NBNA scores for full-term SGA infants and normal infants.The NABA scores of full-term SGA infants were lower than those of normal infants.The NBNA scores for three types of full-term SGA infants followed the order of asymmetric ＞ symmetric ＞ mixture of them,significant difference was found between any two types of three types(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Full-term SGA infants show the poorer quality of nerve behavior compared with the nomal infants.The neurodevelopment levels for three types of full-term SGA infants are asymmetric,symmetric,mixture of them in the order.

Objective To evaluate the efficiency of glycogen phosphorylase BB (GPBB) and heart-type fatty acid binding protein (H-FABP) in the early diagnosis of neonatal myocardial injury (NMI). Methods The GPBB and H-FABP levels in the blood were detected at 3, 6, 12 and 24 h after onset of the NMI. The GPBB and H-FABP levels were compared among NMI, Non-NMI and control groups. The NMI diagnosis sensitivity and specificity for GPBB, H-FABP, GPBB combined with H-FABP were compared. The relationships of GPBB, H-FABP levels with the risk factors were analyzed. Results The GPBB and H-FABP levels of NMI group were higher than those of Non-NMI and control groups (P < 0.01). The diagnosis sensitivity of four time points (3, 6, 12 and 24 h) of combined GPBB and H-FABP were higher than those of the GPBB and H-FABP (P < 0.05). The GPBB and H-FABP were negatively correlated with blood glucose level, positively correlated with asphyxia degree and septicemia degree. Conclusion The combined application of GPBB and H-FABP can improve sensitivity in the early diagnosis of NMI.

Objective:To observe the inhibitory effect on ?-glucosidase of 10 kinds Chinese herbs and to screen the Chinese herbal medicines which have great inhibitory effect on ?-glycosidase.Methods:The ?-glucosidase was extracted from small intestine of rat.The amount of glucose was measured with produced from substrate of malt sugar.The inhibitory effect of 10 kinds of Chinese herbs on ?-glucosidase was observed by this enzyme reaction system.Then disposable gastric perfused malt sugar(2 g/kg) and the extraction screened at the same time,detected the levels of blood glucose after 60 min.The positive control group is acarbose(ACAR) group.Results:The three kinds Chinese herbs(Chishao,Shanzhuyu and Sangbaipi) showed very good inhibitory activities,and they showed obviously concentration-effect curve relationship.Among them,the inhibitary activity of Sangbaipi is stronger than Chishao and Shanzhuyu.While the dose of Sangbaipi reached 10mg/mL,the inhibition rate arrived 80%,which effect was equivalet to the dose of 1mg/ml acarbose.The results of postprandial blood glucose in vitro showed us:Sangbaipi,Chishao and Shanzhuyu can inhibit postprandial blood glucose levels in rats that have been disposable gastric perfused malt sugar after 60min(P0.05).Conclusion:The three kinds of Chinese herbs(Chishao,Shanzhuyu and Sangbaipi) can inhibit ?-glucosidase activity obviously in both vitro and vivo.

Objective　Investigate the sensitivity and accuracy of the denaturing high performance liquid chromatography(DHPLC) technique for the detection of single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP). Methods　 Forty-one samples were detected by both DHPLC and direct sequencing. Results　 The comparison demonstrated that DHPLC detected all heterozygous sequences found by direct sequencing. No false-positive signals were seen in the cases of homozygous sequences. Furthermore, no false-negative results were ever obtained with heterozygous mutations or polymorphisms, or both. Conclusion　 DHPLC is a potent method for SNP identification especially SNP typing in large scale screening.
