OBJECTIVE:
To investigate postoperatively repairing methods and their clinical effects of the olders over 80 years old with head and facial skin malignancies.
METHOD:
Eighteen cases of skin cancers in the head and face, whose malignancies were resected with Mohs microscopic surgery, according to the local or systemic condition of patients after surgery we choose different repairing methods: free skin flap grafting in 2 cases, local skin flap transferring 12 cases; including rotation skin flap grafting 6 cases, sliding flap 4 cases, nasolabial flap 2 cases; transposition flap 4 cases.
RESULT:
Operations of the 18 cases went well without special complications. All of the flaps were alive with partial flap necrosis in 1 case, which was cured 1 month later by dressing changes. During the follow-up period ranged from 6 months to 2 years,no tumor recurred, the functional recovery and appearance were satisfactory.
CONCLUSION
Choosing operating methods in head and facial skin malignancies should consider patients' age, disease state and general condition. Reparing methods of Head and facial skin malignancies in the advanced ages should be selected according to their specific circumstances, especially the simple, convenient and rapid with less trauma way.

Objective To investigate the effect of curosurf in treatment of children with hyaline membrane disease and the nursing. Methods 56 cases of children patients with hyaline membrane disease from June 2008 to June 2010 admitted to neonatal wards were selected. The control group (26 cases)treated with mechanical ventilation alone and corresponding conventional care, on this basis, the treatment group (30 cases) was treated with curosurf and give systemic nursing intervention. Symptomatic relief time, mechanical ventilation time, length of stay, complication incidence rate, death rate, PaO2 and PaCO2 before and after treatment were observed in two groups. Results Symptomatic relief time, mechanical ventilation time, length of stay, complication incidence rate in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group; PaO2 and PaCO2 amelioration in the treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusions Children with hyaline membrane disease should be treated with curosurf and given systemic nursing intervention as early as possible, it can rapidly improve the symptoms of hypoxia, reduce complications, decrease mortality, accelerate the recovery of disease.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2018;38(1):69-74
Objective To explore whether the pattern of neuron's auditory response to a sound stimulus affects the characteristics of stimulus-specific adaptation (SSA) in awake mice. Methods The auditory responses of the neurons in the inferior colliculus to sound stimuli were recorded using microelectrodes in awake mice. The sequence of sound stimuli consisted of random combinations of pure tones of two different frequencies (f1 and f2) with different repetition rates. The auditory responses of the neurons to standard and deviant stimuli were calculated, namely s(f2)/s(f2) and d(f1)/d(f2), respectively. Three indexes of the responses were also calculated, including the firing difference index (FDI), frequency-specific index (SI), and common SSA index(CSI). Results The CSI of neurons with a greater FDI was significantly higher than that of neurons with a smaller FDI (P<0.05). The primary-like neurons showed different characteristics of SSAs in different time periods; SSA was significantly increased in the phase of sustained response compared with that at the onset of response (P<0.05). Conclusion The auditory response pattern to sound stimuli is also an important factor that affect SSA of inferior colliculus neurons in awake mice.
