“Pushing meridians to treat viscera diseases” by Xiangxi Liu’s infantile tuina in treating infantile enuresis is based on the related meridians-viscera, the generation-inhibition of five elements as well as the infantile physiological and pathological characteristics, utilizing the theory of“pushing the five meridians, adjusting the five viscera”. Specific reforcing and clearing (reducing) operation and frequency of operation are determined by the syndrome differentiation, with the purpose of cureness.
2.Clinical Observation of Prednisone Acetate Combined with Leflunomide in the Treatment of IgA Ne-phropathy

OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy and safety of prednisone acetate combined with leflunomide in the treatment of IgA nephropathy. METHODS:80 patients with IgA nephropathy were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 40 cases in each group. Control group was given prednisone acetate 1.0 mg/kg,qd,6 weeks later,decreasing gradually,decreasing to 0.5 mg/kg in 12th week;observation group was additionally given leflunomide 50 mg,qd,3 days later de-creasing to 20 mg. Both groups were given 3 months of treatment. Clinical efficacy,24 h urinary protein quantification,Scr and BUN levels were observed in 2 groups after treatment,and ADR were recorded during treatment. RESULTS:Total effective rate of observation group(95.0%)was significantly higher than that of control group(75.0%),with statistical significance(P<0.05). Af-ter treatment,24 h urinary protein quantification,Scr and BUN levels of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). The incidence of ADR in observation group(0)was significantly lower than in control group(7.5%),with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Prednisone acetate combined with leflunomide has significant effect on IgA nephropathy,and will not increase the occurrence of ADR.
3.Relation between obstructive sleep apnea and bradyarrhythmia

Objective To analyze the relations between obstructive sleep apnea and bradyarrhythmia.Methods From 1999 to 2005,203 patients who came from Bering Tongren Hospital and Fuwai Hospital were found to have sleep apnea in an ambulatory study. A Hoher electrecardiogram was recorded for 24 hours within 2 weeks after patients were diagnosed as obstructive sleep apnem Results Nocturnal episodes of bradyarrhythmia were identified in 12(5.9%)of 203 patients.Body mass index and respiratory disturbance index in patients with bradyarrhythmia(n=12)were higher than those in patientswithour bradyarrhymia(n=191)(34±5 735.24±6 and 63±15 vs.25±5,respectively,both P<0.01).There was a significant difference in end-apneic oxygen saturation in apnea/hypopnea episodes with and without bradyarrhythmia(63%±15% vs.75%±11%,P<0.05).A linear relation between end-apneic oxygen saturation and number of sinus arrests and heart blocks was not found.Conclusions Patients with apnea-associated bradyarrhythmia have higher body mflgB index and higher respiratory disturbance index than patients without bradyarrhythmi&Bradyarrhythmia occurres independently from decrease in oxygen saturation.
4.Effects of Huangkui Capsules on Oxidative Stress and Micro-inflammation State in Diabetic ;Nephropathy Patients with Maintenance Hemodialysis

Objective To investigate the effects of Huangkui Capsules on oxidative stress and micro-inflammation state in diabetic nephropathy patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods Forty-six patients with diabetic nephropathy who had received maintenance hemodialysis for over six month in Gansu Provincial People's Hospital were randomly divided into observation group (23 cases) and treatment group (23 cases) from January to December in 2014. Twenty healthy subjects who had physical examinations were selected as the control group at the same time. Observation group were given conventional hemodialysis for 4 hours, 3 times a week; treatment group were given conventional hemodialysis combined with Huangkui Capsules, orally, 2.5 g each time, 3 times a day. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. Blood was collected before and after treatment for detection of hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), white blood cell (WBC), malondialdehyde (MDA), cycle of advanced oxidation protein products (AOPP), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) levels. Results The levels of IL-6, TNF-α, AOPP, WBC, MDA and hs-CRP were significantly higher in the observation group and the treatment group compared with the control group before treatment (P<0.01), SOD and GSH-Px levels decreased (P<0.01); there was no statistical significance between the observation group and the treatment group (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6, hs-CRP, MDA and AOPP increased in the observation group (P<0.05), GSH-Px and SOD decreased (P<0.05), there were no statistical significance in TNF-αand WBC (P>0.05);The levels of AOPP, TNF-α, hs-CRP, WBC, MDA and IL-6 in treatment group significantly decreased (P<0.01), GSH-Px and SOD significantly increased (P<0.01); there was statistical significance between the observation group and the treatment group (P<0.01). Conclusion Micro-inflammation state and oxidative stress exist generally in diabetic nephropathy maintenance hemodialysis patients. Huangkui Capsules can improve oxidative stress and micro-inflammation state in diabetic nephropathy maintenance hemodialysis patients.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of fludarabine plus mitoxantrone combination chemotherapy for malignant lymphoma compared with CHOP regimen.Methods Sixty-six patients with malignant lymphoma were divided into fludarabine group and CHOP group.The efficacy and toxicities of these two regimens were analyzed and compared between the two groups.Results The overall response(OR)was 81.5% in fludarabine group,while was 48.7% in CHOP;for the patients in late-stage,with B cell lymphoma,with T cell lymphoma and with high serum LDH level,the OR in fludarabine group was higher than in CHOP group obstructively,being 62.5% and 35.7%.Conclusion Fludarabine combination chemotherapy,as a first line regimen in treating first-treated lymphoma,recrudescent lymphoma,intractable lymphoma and lymphoma in late stage,possesses higher efficacy,safety and tolerance than CHOP regimen.

Background and purpose:A chemokine receptor,CXCR4,and its endogenous ligand,stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF-1),have been recognized to be involved in the invasion and metastasis of cancer.Inhibition of CXCR4 may be a new therapeutic target.We studied whether shRNA-CXCR4 could inhibit the CXCR4 gene expression and the proliferation in MCF-7,MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-435s breast cancer cells.Methods:Through knockdown CXCR4 by shRNA,the CXCR4 mRNA expression was detected by RT-PCR and the CXCR4 protein expression was mesured by Western blot.The proliferation of breast cancer cells was evaluated by MTT and flow cytometry.Results:The CXCR4mRNA and its protein expression decreased significantly in MCF-7(the average level of CXCR4 mRNA and protein expression were 0.089,0.177 in PG-CXCR4 group,compared with 0.327 and 0.313 for mRNA expression,0.911,0.874 for protein expression in control and PG-HK group),MDA-MB-231(the average level of CXCR4 mRNA and protein expression were 0.152 and 0.153 in PG-CXCR4 group,compared with 0.40 and 0.45 for mRNA expression,0.829 and 0.878 for protein expression in control and PG-HK group)and MDA-MB-435s(the average level of CXCR4 mRNA and protein expression were 0.198 and 0.173 in PG-CXCR4 group,compared with 0.69 and 0.77 for mRNA expression,0.877 and 0.906 for protein expression in control and PG-HK group)breast cancer cells(P

Objective To explore the relationship between smoking, alcohol drinking and gallstone disease in general male population in Guangdong. Methods Each subject received a questionnaire and took an upper abdominal ultrasound examination in a cross-sectional study. Results The prevalence of gallstone disease became higher with the increase of amount of cigarette smoking per day (trend test ?2=5.542, P=0.019) and with the total amount of cigarette smoking in their life (trend test ?2=7.302, P=0.007), these significance remained after controlling well-known risk factors for gallstone disease such as age and body mass index (BMI) (OR=1.269,95%CI: 1.018~1.580 for cigarette smoking per day and OR=1.295, 95%CI: 1.020~1.646 for total ). Objective To study the expression of chemokine receptor-4(CXCR4) in human breast cancer and its correlation with the prognostic factors.Methods Forty-four samples of breast cancer were collected from Sep.2004 to Jan.2006.The expressions of CXCR4 mRNA and protein were evaluated by RT-PCR and Western blotting respectively.The expressions of CXCR4,estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR) and C-erbB-2 were examined by immunohistochemical methods.The clinicopathological features,such as ages,menstrual status,lymph node metastasis,tumor size and histological grading were recorded and analyzed.The relationship between CXCR4 and the clinicopathological features was analyzed.Results The immunohistochemical staining showed that CXCR4 expressed mainly in cytoplasm and little in nuclei.CXCR4 mRNA and protein expressed differently in 44 samples of breast cancer,and the expressive level increased with the increase in metastatic lymph nodes number.Compared with axillary lymph nodes metastasis negative group,the expression of CXCR4 mRNA and protein increased significantly in ≥4 and 1-3 nodes metastasis groups(P0.05).Conclusion CXCR4 might play an important role in promoting the metastasis of breast cancer.
