Objective To analyze general and trace elements in cerebral spinal fluid (CSF)of patients with spinal cord injury (SCI). Methods To assess contents of general and trace elements (K, Na, Ca, Mg, Zn, Mn, Fe, Cu) in CSF of six SCI patients using ICP-AES. Results Compared with normal value, contents of Ca and Zn were significantly decreased (P<0.01), Fe and Mn were significantly increased (P<0.01), but no significant differences for Na, Mg, K and Cu in CSF of SCI patients. Conclusion The excitation of central nerve system in SCI patients may be higher than normal people indeed.

Advance care planning(ACP)is designed to ensure that patients lacking autonomous decision-making capacity receive medical services in accordance with their expectations and preferences.Individuals with advanced cancer are a crucial target for ACP implementation. However, the current practice of ACP in this group in China is suboptimal, demanding high-quality implementation evidence to strengthen ACP in the clinical practice of patients with advanced cancer. The existing literature can be summarized into 27 pieces of evidence across 7 dimensions, including initiation time, intervention content, intervention providers, intervention modalities, communication skills, outcome indicators, and environmental support. The aforementioned evidence could provide crucial support for improving ACP implementation for patients with advanced cancer.Subsequent research efforts should integrate patient preferences and explore the most suitable implementation strategies for ACP in the Chinese population with advanced cancer, considering diverse aspects such as traditional culture,ACP education and training, legislative support, and healthcare system refinement.

Objective:To develop the Nursing Humanistic Care Needs Questionnaire for Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Patients, and test its reliability and validity. Methods:The Nursing Humanistic Care Needs Questionnaire for ICU Patients was developed through literature review, semi-structured interview, group discussion, Delphi expert consultation and pre-investigation. From November to December 2019, purpose sampling was used to select 280 ICU patients from 3 Class Ⅲ Grade A hospitals in Changsha for investigation, and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested. Results:After project analysis and 2 rounds of exploratory factor analysis, a total of 5 common factors were identified, and the cumulative variance contribution was 76.446%. The scale-level content validity index was 0.917. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the total questionnaire was 0.962, and the test-retest reliability was 0.879, and the half-reliability coefficient was 0.969. The final version of the questionnaire included 5 dimensions and 35 items. Conclusions:The Nursing Humanistic Care Needs Questionnaire for ICU Patients has good reliability and validity, and can be used to evaluate the nursing humanistic care needs of ICU patients.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2021;39(3):260-266
OBJECTIVES:
To study the effect and mechanism of low-level laser irradiation (LLLI) on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammatory injury of human periodontal ligament fibroblasts (hPDLFs).
METHODS:
hPDLFs were inoculated into well plates and randomly divided into the normal group, LPS group, and LPS+LLLI group. The cells in the normal group were cultured in conventional medium. The hPDLFs in the LPS and LPS+LLLI groups were cultured in RPMI1640 medium containing 1 mg·L
RESULTS:
Compared with the normal group, the LPS group showed increased apoptosis rate of hPDLFs and intracellular free Ca
CONCLUSIONS
LLLI has a protective effect on the inflammatory injury of hPDLFs induced by LPS, and the effect is most obvious when the irradiation intensity is 4 J·cm

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2019;35(13):1027-1032
Objective:
To explore the current situation of nurses′ working values, working environment and head nurses′ leadership style. To explore the influence factors of nurses′ working environment and head nurse′s leadership style on nurses′ working values.
Methods:
By applying random stratified sampling, 499 clinical nurses without administrative titles in 6 hospitals were selected. Questionnaires were adopted as the main research tool.
Results:
Score of nurses′ working values was 3.52 ± 0.56. Score of nurses′ working environment was 3.03 ± 0.44. Score of head nurses′transformational leadership style was 2.70 ± 0.76, and score of head nurses′ transactional leadership style was 2.23 ± 0.47. Working environment, transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style were positively correlated with nurses′ working values (
