Human resources are the principle factor for survival and sustainable development of hospital libraries, the paper analyzes the status of human resources of hospital libraries in Shandong province where it could reveal the factors that effect human resources construction in hospital libraries, and then puts forward that hospital libraries should be under the management of information department,the leader of library should establish people-oriented concept for human resources construction and the developing trends of human resources construction should be established.

AIM: To construct pcDNA3.1+/MAGE-3 DNA vaccine and investigate the antigen-specific antitumor immune responses induced by pcDNA3.1+/MAGE-3 DNA vaccine in vivo. METHODS: C57BL/6 mice challenged with B16/MAGE-3 cells were immunized by intramuscular injection of pcDNA3.1+/MAGE-3 DNA vaccine every 10 days. pcDNA3.1+ plasmid and PBS were used as controls. After three cycles of immunization, murine splenic lymphocytes, serum, and tumor were obtained for cytotoxity assay, detections of cytokines (IL-2 and IFN-?), measurement of MAGE-3 antibody, and tumor inhibitory rates, respectively. RESULTS: The pcDNA3.1+/MAGE-3 DNA vaccine immunized murine lymphocytes induced specific cytotoxicity against B16/MAGE-3 cells. Significantly increased secretions of IL-2 and IFN-? were detected. The titres of antibody against MAGE-3 were 1∶1 and 1∶20, while controls were negative. The tumor inhibitory rate in pcDNA3.1+/MAGE-3 group was significantly different from that in controls. CONCLUSION: The pcDNA3.1+/MAGE-3 DNA vaccine was constructed successfully. pcDNA3.1+/MAGE-3 DNA vaccine activates both cellular and humoral immune responses, and induces antigen-specific antitumor immune responses in vivo. AIM: To investigate the expression of drug resistance genes, MDR1 and MRP, in patients with primary breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. METHODS: MDR1 and MRP gene expression were detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR in 20 patients with primary breast cancer before and after chemotherapy. RESULTS: Before chemotherapy, MDR1 and MRP expression could be detected in 15 cases (75%) and 18 cases (90%), respectively. After chemotherapy, expression of MDR1 was not significantly different from that before chemotherapy, but expression of MRP was significantly different from that before chemotherapy. CONCLUSION: Drug resistance gene MRP, but not MDR1 expression is enhanced in patients with primary breast cancer subjected to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Objective:To select the binding-peptide of the cell surface marker CD133 of cancer stem cells from phage peptide library,and to find a new tool for research on stem cells,tumor therapy and anti-metastasis of cancer.Methods:Biotined mouse CD133 extracellular fraction was used as a target to screen phage 7-peptide library by the high affinity of streptavidin and biotin,and the clones were identified by sandwich ELISA and competitive experiment.Single strand DNA was extracted from these positive clones and was analyzed by single-strand dideoxy-sequencing.Results:After three turn solution panning,five peptides with high affinity shared the same amino acid sequence:APSPMIW and three identical peptides with high affinity shared the same amino acid sequence:LQNAPRS.Conclusion:The peptides that bind with mouse CD133 extracellular fraction with high affinity and specificity were first screened from the phage peptide library for the first time,which initially indicates that the feasibility of screening from phage peptide library with small molecule polypeptide biotined as a target.

AIM: To investigate the expression of angiopoietin-Ⅱ(Ang-Ⅱ)in primary gastric cancer and the pathological factors that influences it. METHODS: Expression of Ang-Ⅱ and VEGF were studied in 72 primary gastric cancer and adjacent normal tissue by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: The significant difference of Ang-Ⅱ expression between primary tumor and adjacent normal tissue samples was observed. The correlationship between Ang-Ⅱ and VEGF expression in tumors was statistically significant. The expression of Ang-Ⅱ was related to tumor stage and vascular involvement. CONCLUSION: The results manifested that Ang-Ⅱ may play a role in regulating tumor angiogenesis.

Objective To investigate the expression of FOXO3a and MMP 9 in colorectal cancer tissues and their relationship . Methods Tissue microarray and immunohistochemical SP methods were used to detect the expression of FOXO 3a and MMP 9 in 78 cases of colorectal cancer tissues and 69 cases of corresponding normal intestinal mucosa tissues ,then analyze the relation be-tween their expression and the clinicopathologic parameters of the patients ,and the relation between the expression of FOXO3a and MMP 9 .Results (1)The positive expression rate of FOXO3a in 78 cases of colorectal cancer tissues and 69 cases of normal intesti-nal mucosa tissues are 57 .69% (45/78)and 95 .65% (66/69) ,the positive expression rate of MMP 9 in 78 cases of colorectal cancer tissues and 69 cases of normal intestinal mucosa tissues are 85 .90% (67/78) and 15 .94% (11/69) ,and the difference is significant (P=0 .000) .(2)The decreased expression of FOXO3a and the increased expression of MMP 9 in colorectal cancer are significantly correlated with the depth of tumor invasion ,tumor histological differentiation ,metastasis of lymph node and TNM stage (P<0 .05) ,but there is no significant relationship with patients′age ,gender and tumor size (P>0 .05) .(3)There was a negative corre-lation between the expression of FOXO3a and MMP 9 (r=0 .272 ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion The decreased expression of FOXO3a and the increased expression of MMP 9 may be closely related with carcinogenesis ,invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer ,and their combination may be an important indicator to evaluate the malignant degree and prognosis of the colorectal cancer .

Objective To investigate psychosocial factors for post-stroke depression (PSD). Methods 405 in-pa-tients with stroke were first screened for depression using Comprehensive International Diagnostic Interview-3.0. 22 pa-tients with depression were recruited as the depression group. From 383 patients without depression, 44 patients were se-lected and served as the non depression controlled group according to the sex and age paired with 1:2. Both groups were measured by using questionnaires including Life Event Scale, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, Social Support Rat-ing Scale, Activities of Daily Living Scale and Quality of Life Enjoyment and Satisfaction Questionnaire, Short Form. Re-sults The score of passive coping was significantly higher in depression group than in non depression group [(1.2 ± 0.5) vs. (0.8±0.7), P<0.05]. The score of subjective support was significantly lower in depression group than in non depression group [(17.5±4.0) vs. (20.7±4.6), P<0.05]. Logistic regression analysis showed, minority nationality (OR=2.564, 95%CI:1.039~6.327) and passive coping style (OR=2.223, 95%CI:1.052~5.192) were risk factors for PSD, while subjective sup-port was protective factor for PSD (OR=0.884, 95%CI:0.793~0.986). Conclusions Passive coping style and low subjec-tive support may be the important psychosocial factors of PSD.

With the increasingly strengthening of economic globalization and higher education internationalization,medical imageology as an important intersecting science in life sciences has more and more international communion and cooperation.In China many hospitals and medical colleges require large quantities of medical imageology professionals,and it is very necessary and important to develop the bilingual education in medical imageology,though a series of problems appear in the process.

The developing situation of "big image" makes the medical imaging become an increasingly huge and complicated system.It offers higher request to the medical imaging teaching.The internship of last term is always influenced by attending the graduate student's entrance examination and looking for job,the effect of teaching can't be assured,and it especially important to do well in field trip,thus it can reduce or avoid the phenomenon of "practice after graduate".

With development of medical imaging,especial the wide application of CT,MRI and so on,traditional education method can not meet the needs of the intern-clinical students.Fairly satisfying teaching effects has been achieved for the effective combination of traditional teaching methods with net-work educational method.
