OBJECTIVE To select inspect and scientifically appraise the current hand liquid disinfectants using in clinics.METHODS The randomly selected medical care personnel,were divided into 3 groups with using the Daniel-surgical skin liquid disinfectant,the Jifro disinfectant gel or the clean skin disinfection fluid,respectively in order to compare hands washing effect,and adverse reactions using the chi-square test to carry on statistics processing.RESULTS All 3 kinds of disinfectants might meet the requirements for application,the qualified rate of the Daniel was 100%,without any anaphylaxis and the Jifro had long-term application and unknown origin of anaphylaxis.CONCLUSIONS The Daniel surgical skin liquid disinfectant with its Daniel-autosterilizer for hand cleaning is of choise in the operating rooms and other key departments.

ObjectiveTo investigate the neural mechanism of processing the salient target during the visual search task with spatiotemporal patterns of event-related potential(ERP).MethodsSixteen subjects were asked to judge the existence of a low or high salient target from 4 items,in which one distractor might be also salient or not.A two-way repeated-measure ANOVA was carried out for behavioral performance and ERP data( distractor saliency:YES,NO)*( target:none,low salient,high salient).ResultsSignificant interaction was found between target and distractor for the reaction time (F( 1.99,29.79) =21.56,P=0.00).For the low salient target,significant difference of reaction time was found between the YES (552.57 ± 82.32 ms) and NO (540.47 ± 75.68 ms)of distractor saliency( t (15) =- 2.489,P =0.025 ).However,such difference of reaction time was not significant for the high salient target.The statistical parametric mapping of F-value of ERP suggested the effect of the distractor saliency revealed in the right fronto-parietal-temporal areas related to stimulus novelty and the effect of the target saliency appeared in the parietal-occipital regions related to visual processing during the same stage ( 350 ～ 450ms ).The significant interaction occurred in the left temporal regions (450 ～ 600 ms ) related to stimulus familiarity and its classification.ConclusionDue to both mechanisms of the parallel processing for the target and the distractor during the perceptual stage and the effective classification of the familiar network within left hemisphere during the stage of pattern classification,the salient target can be processed quickly in spite of the interference from the salient distractor.

Purpose　To inquire into the clinical and pathological features of subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma. Methods　The histopathology and immunophenotypes of subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma in 8 cases were observed. Results　Clinically one or more subcutaneous nodules were first found, then the lesion infiltrated up to the epiderm or down to the fascia. Half of the cases were stable for long time without systematic symptoms. The others got high fever with bone marrow, lymphonode involvement, had tumescent liver, and spleen, and decreasing of the counts of thrombocytes or whole blood cells. A few were accompanied with lethal hematophage syndrome. Some rapidly advanced and died less than 3 years. Pathologically, atypical large, midium-size and small lymphocytes with variable ratio rounded the lipocytes like rosettes and were confluent to small patchs or foci or formed a reticular pattern. There were many karyokineses and karyorrhexis made of distinct karyorrhexis bodies. The histocytes reactively proliferated accompanied with phagoerythrocytic phenomena, and polynuclear giant cells and granulomatoid reaction were found. The tumor cells infiltrated in the lipolubules. They expressed T-cell immunophenotype. Conclusions　This tumor is a special type of skin lymphoma involving subcutaneous fat tissue and special clinicophathological features.

Objective To investigate the effect of mild hypothermia on the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) and glucose transporter-1 (GLUT-1) in a rat model of chronic cerebral ischemia-reperfusion.Methods Thirty-six female SD rats weighing 170-210 g were randomly divided into 3 groups (n = 12 each):sham operation group (group S), normal body temperature group (group NT ) and mild hypothermia group (group MH). Arterio-venous fistula was established by end-to-end anastomosis between the right common carotid artery and right external jugular vein for 6 weeks followed by reperfusion. In group MH, mild hypothermia was induced at the initiation of reperfusion and the rectal temperature was reduced to 31.5-32.5 ℃. In group S and NT, the rectal temperature was maintained at 37-38 ℃. Six rats in each group were sacrificed at 3 and 48 h of reperfusion. The brains were immediately removed for determination of the expression of HIF-1α, GLUT-1, HIF-1α mRNA and GLUT-1 mRNA and microscopic examination. Results Compared with group S, the expression of HIF-1α and HIF-1α mRNA at 3 and 48 h of reperfusion and GLUT-1 mRNA at 3 h of reperfusion was up-regulated, while the expression of GLUT-1 and GLUT-1 mRNA at 48 h of reperfusion was down-regulated in group NT (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with group NT, the expression of HIF-1α and HIF-1α mRNA at 48 h of reperfusion and HIF-1α mRNA and GLUT-1 mRNA at 3 h of reperfusion was down-regulated, while the expression of GLUT-1 and GLUT-1 mRNA at 48 h of reperfusion was up-regulated in group MH (P ＜ 0.05).Microscopic examination showed that the injury to the ultrastructure of blood-brain barrier was significantly attenuated in group MH compared with group NT. Conclusion Mild hypothermia can attenuate chronic ischemia-reperfusion injury by down-regulating the expression of HIF-1α and up-regulating the expression of GLUT-1.

Objective To evaluate the effect of neurectomy and chemodenervation of the masseter muscle on mandible bone mineral density.Methods Thirty 28-day-old Wistar rats were divided into four groups:operation groups 1 and 2,botulinum toxin group and control group.The main trunk and initial branches of masseteric nerve on the right side were resected in the operation group 1.The nerve was exposed,but not resected in the operation group 2.The right side of masseter muscle was injected with botulinum toxin type A and the left side was injected with sterile saline in botulinum toxin group when the rats were 28 days old.The control group was only anaesthetised.Bilateral mandibles of all four groups were scanned by GE lunar prodigy bone densitometer when the rats were 75 days old.Results BMD was (0.184±0.012) g/cm2 on the left side and (0.184±0.026) g/cm2on the right side in operation group 1.BMD was (0.179±0.022) g/cm2 on the left side and (0.173±0.019) g/cm2 on the right side in operation group 2.BMD was (0.165±0.061) g/cm2 on the left side and (0.158±0.051) g/cm2 on the right side in botulinum toxin group.BMD was (0.196±0.026) g/cm2 on the left side and (0.185±0.022) g/cm2 on the right side in control group.The variance of BMD between two sides of each group was not significant difference.The variances of BMD among the right side of the four groups were not significant difference.Conclusions No pathological changes in mandibular bone mineral density after denervation and chemodenervation of the massetermuscle are observed in this study.

To evaluate the effect of problem based learning(PBL)in clinical education of pacemaker implanting,30 postgraduates of clinical medicine were arranged into the PBL education group and 60 into the traditional education group.The results showed that the scores of theory and clinical skill of the PBL group were significantly better than those of the traditional education group. It also showed that PBL teaching method is more helpful and more effective than traditional education in clinical education of pacemaker installing.

Objective To investigate the neural mechanism of the reduction of switch cost induced by short presentation of the task cue.Methods The event-related potentials (ERP) was recorded from 19 subjects while they performed a Chinese Stroop switching task.The factorial design of repeated-measures was adopted with the cue presentation time (100/1000 ms) and the type of succeeding task (repeat/switch).Results For the switch cost of reaction time (the switch subtracts the repeat),the difference between the long cue group (15.0 ± 33.3 ms) and the short group (0.80 -±40.7 ms) had the significantly tendency( t (18) =- 1.77,P=0.09).During the stage of cue processing,the ERP effects of cue reveal in the frontal-occipital areas ( 100 ～ 200 ms),frontoparietal and tempo-occipital regions (200 ～500 ms),frontoparietal network and centro-occipital regions (500 ～900ms).During the stage of task execution,the ERP effects of the cue were observed from the left fronto-occipital areas ( 300 ～ 400 ms) to parieto-occipital areas (400 ～ 900 ms).The ERP effects of the task started from the right hemisphere (500 ～600 ms ) and extended to bilateral prefrontal and centro-parietal area (600 ～900 ms ).Conclusion The short cue presentation can not only start up the preparation of frontoparietal network earlier during cue processing stage but also enhance its retrieval in the left dorsal lateral frontal cortex during task executive stage.

Objective To evaluate the clinical diagnostic value of 64-slice computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA) for the detection of significant coronary artery stenosis ( ≥50% lumen reduction). Methods We enrolled 61 patients (47 male, 14 female; mean age 62.8 ± 9.7 years) with suspected coronary artery disease into the study and performed selective coronary angiography (SCA) within 2 weeks after CTCA examination. Results One patient was excluded from the analysis because of unsuccessful CTCA evaluation as a result of severe coronary artery calcification in 4 vessels. 240 vessels of remaining 60 patients were achieved good coronary artery imaging by CTCA. Sensitivity,specificity and positive and negative predictive value of CTCA for detecting significant coronary artery sternosis on a per-vessel basis were 90.0 % ,91.9% ,84. 7% and 94.8% ,respectively. Conclusions Our data indicated that 64-slice CTCA is a noninvasive method to reliably rule out significant coronary sternosis with high diagnostic value in negative prediction.

Objective To investigate the changes and clinical significance ot the expression ot microRNA in plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells in patients with schizophrenia.Methods 174 patients with schizophrenia in Danzhou People 's Hospital were selected as the case group and the other 80 healthy persons as control group The relative expression levels of 8 microRNA in two groups of plasma and pcripheral blood mononuclear cells were detected by real-time quantitative fluorescent PCR(MiR-195,MiR-346,MiR-181b,MiR-212,MiR-30e,MiR-432,MiR 7,MiR-34a),and the differences of microRNA in the plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells were compared between the two groups.ROC curve was used to analyze the sensitivity and specificity of microRNA as diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia and Logistic regression analysis of the relative risk of microRNA in schizophrenia.Results The expression levels of MiR-195,MiR-181b,MiR-132,MiR-30e,MiR-7 and in the patients of the case group(3.11±1.05,2.18±0.72,1.85±0.74 and 9.61±1.87) were significantly higher than those in the control group(4.48±1.07,2.92±0.86,3.53±1.07 and 11.96±2.73,P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).The expression levels of MiR-181b,MiR-212,MiR-30e and MiR-34a in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of patients in the case group (-4.20±1.16,0.27 ±0.55,-4.83± 1.05 and 2.64± 1.08) were significantly higher than those in control group (-3.56±0.81,0.91±0.68,-3.49±1.22 and 3.95±1.03,P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Logistic regression analysis showed that plasma MiR-181b and MiR-30e were significantly relative risk (OR=2.357,95 ％ CI:1.361 ～ 4.093;OR=2.064,95 ％ CI:1.147～3.815),and peripheral blood mononuclear cells MiR-30e also had significant relative risk (OR=1.628,95 ％CI:0.914～2.926).ROC curve analysis showed that 95％CI and AUC in plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells of MiR-181b were 0.702 (0.784～0.632),0.658 (0.593 to 0.736),and plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cell of MiR-30e were 0.775 (0.706～0.857),0.758 (0.686～0.839),respectively.Spearman correlation analysis showed that plasma MiR 181b and plasma MiR-30e were significantly correlated (r=0.547,P =0.043).Conclusion Abnormal expression of microRNA in patients with schizophrenia,and plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells MiR-181b and MiR-30e had good diagnostic value for schizophrenia patients.
