Peace Ark Hospital Ship of China and Mercy Hospital Ship of U.S.had their current statuses introduced,and then were compared from the aspects of technical parameter,personnel allocation,running mode and etc.The advantages of Mercy Hospital Ship were described in safety,details and rationality.It's pointed out the hospital ship in China minimize cost of medical resources,optimize medical treatment and nursing as well as maximize medical efficacy.
2.Factors relating to cross infection in hospital of cancer patients

Purpose:To investigate the susceptible factors and treatment against cross infection in hospital of cancer patients.Methods:174 cases of cross infection in hospital of cancer patients from 1997 to 1999 were analyzed for infective site, infective agent and infectious bacteria. Results:174 cases of cross infection in hospital of cancer patients were found, which was 10.45% of the in paitents of the same period. The majority (108/174) had infection of tissues and organs within irradiation fields after radiotherapy. Respiratory tract infection rate was 76.43%. 16 cases (40.0%) were found to have secondary infection of digestive canal after chemotherapy in the 40 cases of infection of digestive canal. Bone marrow deression or chronic failure and long term decubitus were also causes of infection. In addition, mycotic infection was 43.42% (33/76) in bacteriological tests with bad prognosis.Conclusions:Cross infection in the hospital occurs that patients enfeebled by radiotherapy, chemotherapy, chronic bone marrow failure and long term decubitus. Attention should be paid to the possibility of mycotic cross infection in hospitals, as the prognosis could be quite serious. As soon as the diagnosis is confirmed, early and full dose treatment by anti mycotic drugs should be given.

This article introduced the peritoneal dialysis nursing model of Home Dialysis Unit in the affiliated hospital of Colorado University,including:overall status,setting and distribution,responsibilities of staff,work model of PD (pre-dialysis education,catheter insertion,CAPD/CCPD training,clinic visit model,home visit model,etc),and explored the enlightenment of this model on PD nursing in our country.This model provided references for dialysis center distribution,staff arrangement,pre-dialysis education,home visit,increase of social support and so on.
4.Clinical observation on therapeutic effect of cough variance asthma evoked by mycoplasma pneumonia treated by azithromycin combined with inhalation

Objective To observe the curative effect and prognosis of cough variance asthma(CVA) evoked by mycoplasma pneumonia(MP) treated by azithromycin combined with pumicort and bricasol.Methods 126 CVAs evoked by MP were divided randomly into two groups:the therapeutic group,were given azithromycin orally and inhaled pumicort and bricasol,the control group,were treated only by azithromycin orally.The remission rate and recurrence rate of cough between the two groups were compared.Results The remission rate and recurrence rate of cough of therapeutic group were 100% and 15.9% respectively while those of the control group were 28.6% and 60.3% respectively.The difference between two groups was significant.Conclusion Azithromycin combined with pumicort and bricasol can improve significantly the curative effect of CVA evoked by MP,decrease the recurrence and make for the prognosis.
5. Impact of intravertebral cleft on adjacent vertebral fractures after percutaneous vertebral augmentation

Objective: To investigate the impact of intravertebral cleft on adjacent vertebral fracture (AVF) after percutaneous vertebral augmentation. Methods: Data of 172 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) who underwent percutaneous vertebral augmentation were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into intravertebral cleft group (n=37) and control group (n=135) according to the presence or absence of intravertebral cleft before operation. The operative information and postoperative imaging characteristics were compared between 2 groups, and the impact of intravertebral cleft on AVF was analyzed. Results: The incidence of AVF after vertebral augmentation in intravertebral cleft group (54.55%, 24/44) was significantly higher than that in control group (23.21%, 39/168, χ2=16.39,P<0.01).The incidence of cement solid pattern distribution, intradiscal cement leakage and bone cement-bone surface fluid sign in intravertebral cleft group (84.1%, 43.2% and 63.6%) were all higher than those in control group (60.0%, 26.8%, 23.8%, χ2=8.82, 4.45, 25.34, all P<0.05). In intravertebral cleft group, the incidence of AVF in vertebral body with anterior wall height decreased ratio >50% (75.00%) was significantly higher than in those ≤50% (42.86%, χ2=4.24, P=0.04), but there was no statistical difference of the incidence of AVF among different fracture locations nor components (χ2=2.13, 0.27, both P>0.05). Conclusion: OVCF patients with intravertebral cleft are at increased risk of recurrence AVF after percutaneous vertebral augmentation, especially those with higher anterior wall height decreased ratio, postoperative bone cement mass distribution and bone cement-bone surface fluid signs and being required close follow-up observation.
6.Nosocomial Candidal Infection among Tuberculosis Patients and Its Drug Sensitivity

OBJECTIVE To understand nosocomial candidal infection among tuberculosis patients and its drug(sensitivity).(METHODS) Totally 6280 clinical samples from Jan 2002 to Dec 2004 were cultured;and part of(positive) ones were tested their drug sensitivity to FC,FLC,KET and ITC.RESULTS From all cultured samples 2767 Candida strains(positive rate was 44.06%) were isolated.From them C.albicans,C.glabrata,C.tropicalis,C.krusei and other Candida were 2006, 344,206,95 and 116 strains,their positive rate was 31.94%,(5.48%),3.28%, 1.51% and 1.85%,respectively.Their drug sensitivity rate to four drugs were as follows: to FC was 93.73%,to TTC 62.76%,to FLC 51.03% and to KET was 47.59%. CONCLUSIONS The condition of(tuberculosis) patient would become serious due to higher dual infection rate by Candida after too long anti-(tuberculosis) treatment.Among the four kinds of drugs the FC has the best anti-candidal activity.
7.Value of MRI in predicting intradiscal cemment leakage during percutaneous vertebral augmentation

Objective To assess the value of preoperative MRI in predicting the incidence of cement leakage into adjacent discs during percutaneous vertebral augmentation (PVA) for osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF).Methods Clinical and radiological characteristics of 127 patients who were treated with PVA for OVCF were analyzed retrospec tively.The following clinical data of these patients were analyzed,including gender,age,location of treated vertebral body and surgical approach.The image features of endplate injury,fracture line extended to the endplate,adjacent intervertebral dick injury and intravertebral cleft were evaluated on the preoperative MRI.The incidence of cement leakage into the adjacent disc were compared for the above factors with statistical methods.Results Totally 127 patients were enrolled in our study,including 179 treated vertebral bodies,358 endplates and 341 adjacent intervertebral discs.The incidence of intradiscal cement leakage was 57.73% (56/97) in endplate injury sign,60.98% (25/41) in fracture line extended to endplate sign,35.91%(51/142) in adjacent discs injury sign and 55.56%(20/36) inintravertebral cleft sign.The differences were statistically significant on preoperative MRI in patients with the above signs compared to those who had not (P<0.05).The incidence of intradiscal cement leakage in percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP) and percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) were 26.67%(16/60) and 42.86%(51/119),respectively,which was significant different (P=0.035).For bone cement volume ≤ 5 ml vertebral bodies,the incidence of intradiscal cement leakage was 31.19 % (34/109),lower than bone cement volume > 5 ml vertebral bodies (47.14% [33/70],P=0.031).There was no statistically significant association between intradiscal cement leakage and age,gender and location of treated vertebral body (P>0.05).Conclusion Preoperative MRI can predict the leakage of bone cement into adjacent discs effectively during PVA.The PKP and the lower volume of bone cement injection can reduce the risk of intradiscal cement leakage.

10.Application of Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System Probe and Low-power & Low-noise Single Chip Integration System in Neural Loop Researching

A 8-channel neural signal′s simultaneous transducer detection micro system was developed to research the neural loop located at the brain hippocampus zone. The components of the system contained the neural probe manufactured with the Micro-electro-mechanical-systems (MEMS) technique based on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) substrate, biological low noise chopper-stabilization amplifier, low noise and intermediate speed SAR-ADC converter, reduced and low power ASK/FSK modulation radio transmitter. The micro system was applicable with the characters of small volume, interferences free, neural electrophysiology and neurotransmitter simultaneous detection, high sensitivity, high linearity, etc. The electrode resistance was optimized to 35.0 kΩ after depositing nanometer platinum black on the 4 electrophysiological sites on the Pt electrode. With the modification enzyme technique, nanomaterial enzyme membrane (Pt-mPD-GluOx) was directly fixed on the glutamate detection locus for selectively detecting special neural neurotransmitter matter. In addition, the electrochemistry measurement results indicated that the linear range of glutamate was 6-35 μmol/L with correlation coefficient of 0.97, the sensitivity was 0.0069 pA/(μmol/L). The current response error was less than 3.0 pA, which showed that the neural needle satisfied differential selection. Also, the logic/analog mixed signal 180-nm Application specific integrated circuit (ASIC ) technique (SmicRF180 nm 1Poly6M) was used to manufacture the transducer back-end disposing IC chip, and the test results provided some key parameters such as chopper-stabilization amplifier (equivalent in putting noise voltage ≤0.7 μV rms@1 kHz, gain of 71-82 dB, CMRR/PSRR>100 dB), SAR-ADC (ENOB is 12 bits, power consumption is 1.2 mW when maxmium conversion speed is 1 Msps, signal-noise-ratio is 60.9 dB, etc), and ASK/FSK modulation radio transmitter (the PA′s outputting power of 4-5 dBm, the radiation range of 10 meters). The micro neural transducer integrated system was convenient and wireless wearable for the research of brain hippocampus region.
