Objective To investigate the relationship between disease activity and osteocalcin,β-isomerized C-terminal telopeptides (β-CTX) in SAPHO syndrome.Methods We studied 58 cases who were diagnosed as SAPHO syndrome.The following indices used to assess the activity of SAPHO were measured:Bath ankylosing spondylitis Disease activity index (BASDAI),Bath ankylosing spondylitis functional index(BASFI),visual analogue scale (VAS) pain and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C-reactive protein (CRP),osteocalcin and β-CTX.The SAPHO patients were divided from two groups according to the disease activity.The relationships were analyzed with t-test and Pearson's test.Results The β-CTX of the active group(0.43±0.20) ng/ml was elevated than the stable group (0.23 ±0.09) ng/mL (t=-4.620,P=0.007).And there was no significant difference in the osteocalcin between the active group (2.7±1.0) μg/L and the stable group(2.4±1.0) μg/L (t=-1.169,P=0.820).There was no significant correlation between the serum osteocalcin and ESR or hypersensitive CRP (hs-CRP) (rESR=0.228,PESR=0.088;rhsCRP=-0.085,PhsCRP=0.528).And β-CTX level was related to the VAS (r=0.496,P＜0.01),BASDAI (r=0.401,P=0.002) and BASFI (r=0.295,P=0.025).While no significant relationship between the osteocalcin and pain index was observed in our study.Conclusion The positive correlation between serum β-CTX and disease activity indicates significant bone absorption during the bone destroy process in SAPHO syndrome.

Objective To investigate the best time of mini-traumatic operation to treat hypertensive intracerebral haemorrhage in internal capsule. Methods Sixty-four patients were divided into treatment group and control group according to operative time. Patients who were treated with mini-traumatic operation within 6 hours were as treatment group, those treated with mini-traumatic operation beyond 6 hours were as control group. Results Twelve of 40 patients in treatment group were cured, 16 became better, 5 had no effect, 7 were dead, and the effective rate was 70.00%. Five of 24 patients in control group were cured, 6 became better, 5 had no effect, 8 were dead, and the effective rate was 45.83%. Conclusion The effect of mini-traumatic operation to treat hypertensive intracerebral haemorrhage in internal capsule within 6 hours is clearly better than that beyond 6 hours.

Objective To analyze the effect of salvia tetramethylpyrazine on hemorheology in patients with vertebrobasilar transient ischemia attack (VB-TIA). Methods 84 patients with VB-TIA were divided into observation group and control group, 42 cases in each group. They both received the treatment of Ginkgo-diyidamolum injection. The observation group were treated by salvia tetramethylpyrazine, and the control group were treated by compound Danshen injection. The therapeutic effect of the two groups and the changes of blood rheology were compared. Results The clinical remission rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the time of onset and symptoms of the drug were shorter than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The blood flow velocity of vertebral basilar artery in the two groups were significantly higher than those in the observation group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the hemorheology of the two groups were significantly improved, the high shear viscosity and low shear viscosity, platelet aggregation rate, erythrocyte deformation index, erythrocyte aggregation index and blood haematocrit of observation group improved more obviously (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was not statistically significant. Conclusion Salvia tetramethylpyrazine could effectively shorten the drug onset time, improve the blood velocity of vertebrobasilar artery, recover blood rheology and stability on the condition of not increasing the adverse reactions, which has a positive effect on the clinical remission rate.

Objective To analyze the pitfalls of 18F fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computer tomography (PET-CT) scan in the diagnosis of 60 patients of tuberculosis mimicking malignancy.Methods The study included 60 patients with PET-CT diagnosis of probable malignancy.Fifty patients were proved to be tuberculosis by pathological examinations and 10 were diagnosed by clinical followup.The images of whole body were acquired at 60 min after administration of 222-555 MBq 18F-FDG.The PET-CT imaging characteristics and clinical data,including lesion size,distribution,standardized uptake value (SUV) were retrospectively analyzed.After the whole body scan of PET-CT,each patient had a chest spiral CT scan for detailed observation of lung lesions.Contrast enhanced CT (CECT) was performed in 8 patients.Results (1)Thirty patients were misdiagnosed as lung cancer,14 patients as malignant lymphoma,6 patients as malignant mesothelioma,3 as intestine carcinoma,2 as bone malignancy,1 patient as hepatocarcinoma,spleen malignancy,ovarian cancer,laryngocarcinoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma respectively.(2) 90.9％ (20/22) of patients showed normal level of serum CEA and 100％ (13/13) of patients showed normal level of CA199.Increasing serum CA125 was found in all patients (6/6) with activeTB patients accompanied with ascites,pleural fluid and (or) pericardial effusion.(3) 93.3％ (28/30)active tuberculosis showed accumulated 18F-FDG which was incorrectly interpreted as malignancy.The most common sites of TB lymphadenopathy were bilateral cervical tissues,which was accounted for 85.7％(12/14).CECT revealed characteristics of peripheral enhancement and central necrosis in tubercular lymphadenopathy,which was 87.5％ (7/8).Conclusions The diverse manifestations of TB on imaging and high uptake of 18F-FDG on PET imaging result in misdiagnosis of malignancy.It is important for radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians to identify the common imaging features and patterns of TB to make a correct diagnosis.Integration of reconstruction HR CT,PET-CT and lab examinations may improve the diagnostic accuracy.

Objective To evaluate the ability of a synthetic PET/NIRF probe,named 18F-PSVue643,on the apoptosis detection in animal models with the anti-cancer drugs therapy,and compare the advantages and disadvantages between PET and NIRF.Methods Cell apoptosis was detected by MTT and flow cytometry in vitro.Established U87MG glioblastoma xenograft tumors in nude mice were treated with retinol and paclitaxel for nine days (for PET imaging) or eleven days (for NIRF imaging) continuously.The uptake values were recorded by ROI and expressed as ％ID/g.Results The apoptosis ratios in 10 and 100 nmol/L paclitaxel-treated groups were 7.4％ and 7.5％,respectively,and the apoptosis ratio of the control group was 4.3％.The apoptosis could be well detected by both NIRF and PET imaging during the whole process of treatment.However,the amount of probe for PET imaging was only a half of that for optical imaging to get the same apoptosis visualization.Conclusion 18F-PSVue643 is suitable for NIRF and PET imaging in detection of apoptosis,and it may be a promising agent for further clinical studies.

Purpose To prepare 68Ga-NOTA-SPIO as PET/MRI dual mode imaging probe with high sensitivity and resolution,and further evaluate its in vitro and partly in vivo biological properties.Materials and Methods The precursor SPIO-PEG2000-NOTA was prepared and characterized.The precursor was radiolabeled by using one step method to prepare 68Ga-NOTA-SPIO as dual mode imaging probe.The labeling rate of the probe was determined by rapid thin-layer chromatography.Besides,the in vitro stability and lipid water partition coefficient of the probe were evaluated,and its biodistribution in normal mice was also observed.Results The precursor SPIO-PEG2000-NOTA with uniform dispersion and uniform particle size was prepared,and the dual mode probe 68Ga-NOTA-SPIO was synthesized.The labeling rate reached 99％,and the lipid water partition coefficient (Log P) was (-2.60±0.13).The radiochemical purity of the probe was higher than 95％,as it was incubated in the phosphate buffer and fetal bovine serum within 2 hours.The probe was mainly distributed in the liver and spleen of mice,and its clearance velocity in blood was fast.Conclusion The double mode probe 68Ga-NOTA-SPIO synthesized by one step method has high labeling rate with no need of purification,which has good physic-chemical properties and biocompatibility.The probe can be used in the further research of PET/MRI dual modality imaging.

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of a proliferation inducing ligand (APRIL) and its receptors including B cell maturation antigen (BCMA),transmembrane activator.calcium modulator and cyclophilin ligand interactor (TACI) in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SEE).Methods APRIL mRNA、BCMA mRNA and TACI mRNA in PBMCs were detected by real-time quantitative PCR in 66 SLE patients and 25 normal controls.Gene expression level was measured as 2-AACT.Results The expression levels of APRIL mRNA、BCMA mRNA and TACI-mRNA were significantly increased in both active SLE group and stable SLE group compared with those in the normal controls(P<0.01 for all).The expression levels of APRIL mRNA and TACI mRNA in active SLE group were significantly higher than those in stable SLE group(P<0.01,P<0.05,respectively).But there was no significant difierence in the expression levels of BCMA mRNA between the SLE stable and active groups-Beside,the expression levels of APRIL mRNA and TACI mRNA were significantly increased in patients with lupus nephritis (LN) compared to patients with non-LN (P<0.01 for all).Conclusion The expression levels of APRIL and its receptors are significantly elevated in SLE patients.It may suggest that APRIL and its receptors play an important role in the pathogenesis of SLE.

Objective To explore the polarization and proliferation of naive CD4+TT cells after preincubation with interleukin-2. Methods The expression of suppressor of cytokine signal (SOCS)-3 was detected by the real-time PCR in the naive T lymphocytes of DO11.10 TCR transgenic and C57BL/6N mice after they were preincubated by 50 U/ml of IL-2. The naive CD4+T T lymphocytes preincubated for 4 h by IL-2 were stimulated with ovalbumin (OVA) and inactivated BALB/c spleen cells, respectively. After 14 d, IL-12Rβ1, IL-12β2 and cytoplasm IL-4 (cyIL-4) were detected by flow cytometry. Results SOCS-3 in the naive CD4+T lymphocytes of DO11. 10 TCR transgenic and C57BL/6N mice reached the peak after preincu- bated by IL-2 for 6 h. The polarization to TH1 and the proliferation ability of naive CD4+ T lymphocytes stimulated with specific antigen and allogeneic antigen were inhibited conspicuously during the time of the peak of SOCS-3. Conclusion The expression of SOCS-3 in naive CD4+T lymphocytes can be upregulated by IL-2. The upregulation of SOCS-3 can suppress the polarization to TH1and the proliferation ability of naive CD4+T lymphocytes stimulated by specific antigen and allogeneic antigen.

The apphcation of radioactive seeds implantation in treatment of malignant solid tumor of the abdomen has been 18 years in China.The teatment is applied by more and more hospitals,however,the operation procedure is not the same in each hospital,which affected the therapeutic effect of radioactive seeds implantation,and means more safety risks.This paper summarizes the operation procedures of radioactive seeds implantation in treatment of malignant solid tumor of the abdomen,and minimizes the loopholes in clinical operation,in order to improve the therapeutic effect and reduce the safety risks.

Objective To evaluate the changes of brain metabolism with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT in patients with disorders of consciousness (DOC).Methods This retrospective study,from January 2007 to October 2016,included 40 patients (26 males,14 females,age range:17-73 years)in the vegetative state (VS),12 patients (11 males,1 female,age range:25-53 years) in the minimally conscious state (MCS),and 11 patients (10 males,1 female,age range:12-68 years) in the state of recovering from DOC.All patients underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging.The standardized uptake value (SUV) of multiple brain areas among 3 groups of patients was calculated and compared.One-way analysis of variance was used for data analysis.Results The SUV in different encephalic regions among 3 groups were significantly different (F values:6.214-13.642,all P＜0.01) except for mesencephalon.Compared with MCS group,the SUV of cerebral cortex of VS group was lower (t values:2.263-3.548,all P＜0.05).Compared with the recovered group,the SUV of cerebral cortex and cerebellum of VS group was lower (t values:1.299-5.136,all P＜0.05).Compared with the recovered group,the SUV of parietal lobe,temporal lobe,occipital lobe,thalamus and cerebellum of MCS group was lower (t values:1.962-2.841,all P＜0.05).Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT may be significant in evaluating brain function of DOC patients.
