1.Study on the mechanism of intraventicular administration of insulin improve the cardiopulmonary resuscitation rats’ neurological function
China Medical Equipment 2014;(6):14-17,18
Objective:To explore the effect of intraventricular administration of insulin on pro-apoptotic expression of Caspase-3 mRNA and neuronal apoptosis in hippocampus CA1, and neurological function after rats’ CPR. Methods:Thirty male SD rats were randomly divided into three groups:sham group;the resuscitation with saline-treated group and resuscitation with insulin-treated group. Six minute cardiac arrest was induced by ventricular fibrillation (VF) via pacing electrode placed in rats’ esophagus in saline and insulin group. Results:1. The NDS revealed a clear neurological deficit after reperfusion 24 h, 72 h in insulin and saline group as compare to the sham group, Comparing to the saline group, Insulin could improve the rats’ neurologic function after CPR 24 (insulin vs. saline group, 70(64~72)vs.56(50~58), P<0.001);2. Through TUNEL stain, insulin inhibited apoptosis in CA1 hippocampus as compare to the saline after CPR 7d. (F=5.853, P=0.02) 3.Caspase-3 expression in insulin-treated groups were significantly decreased compared to the saline-treated group after reperfusion 24h and 72h[(70(64~72), 56(50~58);P<0.001]. Conclusion:Intraventricular administration of insulin could inhibit the mRNA expression levels of the apoptotic activities of Caspase-3 after cardiac arrest, prevent neuronal apoptosis in the CA1 hippocampus and improve the rats’ neurological function (at least 24hours) after CPR.
3.Chemical constituents in fruits of Catalpa ovata
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(01):-
Objective To study the chemical constituents in fruits of Catalpa ovata. Methods Isolation and purification were carried out by silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, and active carbon column chromatography etc. Constituents were identified and structurally elucidated by physicochemical properties and spectral analysis. Results Eight compounds were obtained, six of them were determined as catalpol (Ⅰ), catalposide (Ⅱ), ursolic acid (Ⅲ), ?-daucosterol (Ⅳ), nonacosane (Ⅴ), ?-sitosterol (Ⅵ). (Conclusion)(All (~1H-NMR) and (~(13)C-NMR) chemical shifts of the compound) Ⅱ are assigned by UV, IR, ESI-MS, HREI-MS, (~1H-NMR), (~(13)C-NMR), HMQC, and HMBC techniques. Compounds Ⅲ and Ⅴ are isolated from the plant for the first time.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(02):-
Objective To study the chemical constituents in fruits of Catalpa ovata. Methods Various chromatographic techniques were used to separate and purify the constituents.Structures of the compounds were elucidated by physicochemical properties and spectral analysis (UV, IR, ESI-MS, 1H-NMR , 13 C-NMR , 1H- 1H COSY , HMQC, HMBC, NOESY, and CD).Results A compound was isolated and identified as 2(S)-(3′-hydroxy-5′-methoxy)-benz-3(S)-ethoxycarbonyl-6-trans-ethyl acrylate-8-methoxy-benzofuran.Conclusion This compound is a novel compound named as catalpafurxin.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2009;21(11):748-749
Objective To investigate the expression of Ki-67 in bladder transitional cell carcinoma and its relationship with grade and stage. Methods Immunohistochemistry method were used to detect the expression of Ki-67 in bladder transitional cell carcinoma and control groups. Results The positive expression rate of Ki-67 antigen in 60 cases of bladder cancer, 20 cases of benign bladder disease and 10 cases normal bladder mucosa were 25.9 %, 10.3 % and 1.1 %. There were significantly difference among each group. The more grade and stage, the greater expression of Ki-67 antigen. Conclusion Ki-67 antigen is related to cell proliferation. The expression of the Ki-67 antigen in bladder cancer is closely related to the grade extent of tumor, and it is an important cell proliferation indicator. As a signal, Ki-67 antigen reflects cell proliferation, measurement of the expression of the Ki-67 antigen could reflect the condition of tumor cell proliferation. It might be an important prognostic factor for judging the occurrence, development and prognosis of the tumor.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective:To investigate influences of bicortical anchora ge on the values of natural frequency of dental implants. Methods: Using the commercial code of SolidWorks, 3-D models of a screw-shaped dental i mplant and a mandibular bone segment were generated. After the 3-D implant-bon e complex was meshed by ABAQUS software, effects of bicortical anchorage on the buccolingual and axial first-order natural frequencies of the implant were comp uted. Results:Bicortical anchorage increased the buccolingual na tural frequencies and the axial natural frequencies of the implants by a maximu m of 13.77% and 107.40% respectively. The apical anchorage depth in the cortical bone had an insignificant effect on further increase of implant stability. Conclusion:Bicortical anchorage can increase the stability of dental implants, especially in the axial direction.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
During the last forty years, although cytotoxic chemotherapy for gastric cancer patients has improved to some extent, its therapeutic effect is limited. Simultaneously, great progression of oncobiology to increase our understanding of the molecular basis of gastric cancer has been made. Currently the cancer cell has been characterized by several genetic changes that lead to altered cellular functions. In addition, multiple cancer-cell environment factors affect the tumor cell via various receptors and subsequent signaling pathways. The increasing knowledge of cellular signaling offers the opportunity to develop novel substances that target specific pathway molecules.

AIM: To explore the effect of Shenshuai Capsule on renal functio n, NO and TNF-? in CRF rat's blood. METHODS: Wister rats were fed with adenine to establish the chronic renal insufficiency anemia model, and then they were divided into three groups and fed with Shenshuai Capsule (high or low dosage) and Niaoduqing proup, respec tively. Kidney function index and the levels of NO and TNF-? in blood of CR F rats were measured. RESULTS: The comparison of renal function between the treatment gro up (high dosage) and the Niaoduqing group were significantly different respectiv ely. At the same time, Shenshuai Capsule can increase the NO of CRF rat's blood and reduce the TNF-?. CONCLUSION: Shenshuai Capsule can improve renal function of CRF rat , simultaneously raise the NO of CRF rat's blood and reduce the TNF-?. The lat ter may be one of the mechanism of action that Shunshuai Capsule can delay the r enal failure.
