1.Analysis on the Efficiency of 14 Division-level Hospitals of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Based on DEA Model

Objective: To evaluate the operational efficiency of the division-level hospitals of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Methods: Use DEA’s CCR model and BCC model to calculate the overall efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and use super-efficiency model to calculate efficiency ranking of the division-level hospitals. Results: In the total pattern, there were 28.6%of the agricultural division hospitals at the stage of constant returns scale;in the medical service model, there were only 14.3% hospitals at that stage. Conclusion: From the results of two models, the technical efficiency has more room for improvement, compared with efficiency scale. The hospital needs to improve the level of health care technique, avoid blind expansion, minimize unnecessary input, strengthen internal meticulous management, and improve the overall operating efficiency of the hospital.
2.Effects of different doses of compound Xuelian capsule on bone cancer pain in rats

Objective To evaluate the effects of different doses of compound Xuelian capsule on bone cancer pain (BCP) in rats.Methods Fifty pathogen-free adult female Sprague-Dawley rats,weighing 200-220 g,aged 7-8 weeks,were randomly divided into 5 groups (n =10 each) using a random number table:sham operation group (group S),group BCP,and compound Xuelian capsule 50,100 and 200 mg · kg-1 · d-1 groups (group CX50,group CX100 and group CX200).BCP was produced by injecting Walker256 mammary gland carcinoma cells into the intramedullary space of the right femur bone.At 11-21 days after inoculation of the tumor ceils,normal saline containing compound Xuelian capsule 50,100 and 200 mg · kg 1 · d 1 was injected through a tube into stomach once a day in CX50,CX100 and CX200 groups,respectively.The mechanical paw withdrawal threshold (MWT) and limb use score were measured at 1 day before inoculation of the tumor cells (baseline) and 4,7,11,14,17,19,and 21 days after inoculation of the tumor cells.Results Compared with group S,the MWT at 4-21 days after inoculation of the tumor cells was significantly decreased,and limb use score was significantly decreased at 11-21 days after inoculation of the tumor cells in BCP,CX50,CX100 and CX200 groups (P<0.05).Compared with group BCP,the MWT was significantly increased at 19-21 days after inoculation in group CX50,at 17-21 days after inoculation in group CX100 and at 14-21 days after inoculation in group CX200,and limb use score was significantly increased at 14-21 days after inoculation in group CX100 and at 17-21 days after inoculation in group CX200 (P<0.05).Conclusion Compound Xuelian capsule 50,100 and 200 mg· kg 1 · d 1 (for 11 consecutive days) can reduce BCP in a dose-dependent manner in rats.
3.THE EXPRESSION OF APOPTOSIC GENES BCL-2,BAX AND FAS IN ENDOMETRIOSIS

We examined eutopic,ectopic endometria and peritoneal fluid macrophages from 22 patients with endometriosis(EMS) and 14 women without EMS.To obtain evidence for the induction of programmed cell death,apoptotic cells were identified using a modified terminal deixynucleotidyltransferasebiotin nick end-labeling method(TUNEL).To evaluate cell death repressor activity,bcl-2,bax and fas genes expression was examined using immunohistochemical staining. The results showed that bcl-2 expression in eutopic,ectopic endometrium and peritoneal fluid macrophages with EMS was significantly increased compared with no EMS(P<0.01).Bax expression in eutopic,ectopic and peritoneal fluid macrophages with EMS was significantly decreased compared with no EMS(P<0.05). Fas expression in eutopic,ectopic endometrium was decreased compared with no EMS(P<0.05). The expression of apoptotic genes were different in eutopic,ectopic endometrium and peritoneal fluid macrophages from EMS and no EMS.Apoptotic rate in EMS was lower than no EMS,and its acceptance was decreased,which could bear implications for the growth and survival of ectopic endometrial tissue.
4.Long-term effects of articular cartilage derived scaffold/autologous chondrocytes composites for repairing full-thickness defects of knee articular cartilage in rabbits

[Objective]To observe the histological characteristics of autologous chondrocytes/human articular cartilage derived scaffold (HACDS) composites for repairing chondral defects in rabbit models. [Methods]A full-thickness articular-cartilage defect (diameter 4 mm,thickness 2 mm) was created in the femoral condyle of rabbits. The rabbits were divided into two groups: control group,HACDS scaffold only,and experimental group,chondrocytes/HACDS scaffold. Fifteen months after implantation,the specimens were observed by inverted phase contrast microscopy,and assessed by staining with haematoxylin-eosin,alcian blue,toluidine blue,safranin O,as well as by the immunohistochemistry of collagen type Ⅱ.[Results]Histologically,the generated neo-cartilage integrated well with its surrounding normal cartilage and subchondral bone in the defects of experimental group at 15 months post-implantation,whereas only fibrous tissue was filled in the defects of control group. Histochemical and immunohistochemical analysis revealed that alcian blue,toluidine blue,safranin,and were obviously positive in the experimental groups. However,alcian blue,toluidine blue,and safranino O were negative in the control group.[Conclusion]The current histological examination demonstrated that an engineered cartilage composed of autologous chondrocytes on HACDS scaffold could be successfully obtained and further applied to repair an articular cartilage defect in a rabbit model.
5.Construction of human immunoglobulin combinatorial library and screening of phage antibodies to platelet

Objective Human immunoglobulin combinatorial library was generated by using phage surface display expression system, and phage antibodies (Fabs) to platelet were screened.Methods:PBMC were separated from a patient who Were transfusion refractory to platelet. mRNA was isolated and cDNA was synthesized by reverse transcriptase.The immunoglobulin heavy chain Fd and the light chain ? genes were amplified by half nested PCR and the PCR products were cloned into the expression vector pCome3 respectively.The immunoglobulin combinatorial library was constructed and screened by 3 rounds of affinity selection.Results Human Immunoglobulin Combinatorial Library was successfully constructed.The specific phage antibodies were highly enriched after 3 rounds of biopanning selection against platelet membrane proteins.Conclusion The antibody library and human monoclonal antibodies to platelet may be useful as molecular tools to study the anti platelet drugs, platelet related diseases, epitope of human platelet antigens.
6.Determination of netilmicin sulfate in serum by high performance liquid chromatography-indirect photometric determination method

OBJECTIVE: To determine the content of netilmicin sulfate in serum by a high performance liquid chromatography-indirect photometric determination (HPLC-IPD) method. METHOD: The chromatographic system consisted of Soheisorb C18 column and mobile phase of a solution of methyl alcohol-a buffer of phosphoric acid (pH=2.0) (20∶80), that contained 0.5 mmolL-1 of nicotinamide and 0.3 mmolL-1 of sodium seventhalkyl-sulphonate. The detected wave length was 268 nm. The serum simple of 4 patients was determined. RESULTS: The mean recovery of was 93.41% and detection limits was 50 μgL-1. CONCLUSION: The method is constant, sensitive, and has a good concentration. It is good for determination of netilmicin sulfate concentration in serum.

Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) refers to the sudden, threatening or catastrophic life events leading to delay and long-term persistence of mental disorders. Hippocampus, amygdala, prefrontal cortex and hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA) may be involved in PTSD, but the exact pathogenesis is not entirely clear. Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Chinese herbs, acupuncture and emotion-thought therapy, are considered as the main methods for PTSD, which may play a role in neuroprotection, adjustment of learn-ing-memory, anti-stress, adjusting HPA, etc.

9.Effects of early enteral nutrition on postoperative recovery in patients with Gastric Cancer

Objective: To observe the effects of early enteral nutrition(EEN) on incidence of postoperative complication in gastric cancer patients. Methods: 150 patients with gastric cancer were randomly divided into early enteral nutrition group (n=82) and non-early enteral nutrition (N-EEN) group (n=68). The patients in group EEN were given enteral nutrition after operation, and the patients in group N-EEN were given total parenteral nutrition support. The postoperative complications were recorded. The serum albumin, prealbumin and transferrin were measured on postoperative day 1, 5 and 9. The serum level of alanine aminotransferase(ALT), bilirubin, blood urea nitrogen(BUN), creatinine, glucose, cholesteroland triglyceridewere monitored. Results: The complications occurred in 21patients. 5 of these patients belonged to EEN group and the other belonged to N-EEN group. 10.The protective effects of bifidobacterial adhesin on ischemic reperfusion injury of intestine in rats

ObjectiveTo investigate the protection effect of bifidobacterial adhesin for intestine ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury on gut barrier function in rat.MethodsSeventy-two male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group (n =24), I/R model group (n =24) and pretreatment group of bifidobacterial adhesin (pretreatment group, n = 24).Six rats were anatomized at 6 h, 1 d, 4 d and 7d after inducing I/R model in each group, respectively.The pathological changes of the terminal ilea and the blood levels of TNFα, IL-6, IL-10, diamine oxidase (DAO), and the activity and content of D-lactic acid were observed.ResultsThe blood levels of TNFα, IL-6, DAO and D-lactic acid in I/R model group were significantly higher than sham operation group at all time points (P <0.05) , while the blood level of IL-10 was no significantly change.The activity of IL-6 and DAO in pretreatment group was significantly lower than I/R model group at all time points (P < 0.05), the blood level of TNFαt in pretreatment group was significantly lower than I/R model group at 1 d, the blood level of D-lactic was significantly lower than I/R model group at 4 d and 7 d (P < 0.05). Intestinal pathological damages were obviously milder in pretreatment group than I/R model group at all time points (Chiu's pathological scores: 6 h, 3.22 ±0.22 vs 3.57 ±0.20;1 d,3.77 ±0.13 vs 3.90 ±0.12;4 d,2.93 ±0.23 vs 3.07 ±0.21;7 d,2.10 ±0.30 vs 2.22 ±0.17,all P < 0.05).ConclusionThe pretreatment of bifidobacterial adhesin could protect the intestinal mucosa from I/R injury, and alleviate intestinal ischemic reperfusion injury.
