AIM: To investigate the effect of histamine and hypoxia on the expression of eNOS mRNA and protein in cultured porcine pulmonary artery and aorta endothelial cells. Health food has been used for a long history in our country,and it has unique advantages and is an important part of national medical care delivery in China. Up to now,its use is not under administration of food safety law. This article analyzes the differences among health food,drug and common food,the advantages in theory,resource,safety and compatibility of health food,the laws and regulations of health food published by government,and the status of health food industry,in order to demonstrate the importance and urgency of health food being administrated under food safety law,for the purpose of obtaining the academic and legal consensus.

Objective To explore the role of Th17 cells in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)with cardiovascular disease (CVD).Methods 61 patients of SLE were collected from September 2011 to March 2013 in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University by revised SLE classification standards of ACR in 1997.These patients were divided two groups:22patients of SLE with CVD and 39 patients of SLE without CVD;the control group include 20 healthy.Th17 cells were measured by flow cytometry,IL-1 7 was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The correlation among them and the disease active index were analyzed.Results ①The percent of Th1 7 cells in the group of SLE with CVD,that in the group of SLE without CVD and that in control group were (2.09±0.98)%,(1.75±0.75)% and (0.89±0.44)%,respec-tively.The percent of Th1 7 cells in healthy group were lower than that in SLE with CVD and SLE without CVD group (t=4.717~5.030,P<0.001).The level of IL-17 in the group of SLE with CVD,that in the group of SLE without CVD and that in control group were 85.64±20.76 pg/ml,75.25±28.14 pg/ml and 35.06±6.58 pg/ml respectively,and the serum of IL-17 in healthy group were lower than in SLE with CVD and SLE without CVD group (t=6.275~9.954,P<0.001). There were no significant difference of Th1 7 cells and IL-1 7 between SLE with CVD and SLE without CVD groups (t=1.520,P>0.05;t=1.513,P>0.05).②The level of IL-17 were correlated positively with SLEDAI and the anti-double strand DNA (r=0.393,P=0.008;r=0.558,P<0.001),were correlated negatively with complement C3 (r=-0.423,P=0.005).The percent of Th17 cells in CD4+T cells were correlated positively with SLEDAIand the anti-double strand DNA (r=0.681,P<0.001;r=0.492,P=0.015)were correlated negatively with complement C3 (r=-0.534,P=0.027).Con-clusion The level of Th1 7 cells and IL-1 7 were high in SLE,and they were related with the disease activity.The cardiovas-cular factor had not affect the expression of Th1 7 cells and IL-1 7 in SLE.

Objective To study the mechanisms of nerve cell apoptosis after traumatic brain injury and the influences of CTP on rats after brain trauma. Methods The model of severe closed traumatic brain injury (TBI) was used. A total of 300 Wistar rats were divided randomly into TBI group, CTP treatment group, and sham operation group. The Fas protein expression and neural apoptosis in each group were observed at 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72, 168, and 336 h after TBI. At the same time, the rest 12 rats were employed as the normal controls. Immunohistochemistry and TUNEL staining were used to observe the neural apoptosis and the expression of Fas protein in hippocampus of rats after TBI. Results Increased expression of Fas protein and neural apoptosis were found in the rat hippocampus after TBI. Conclusion The increased expression of Fas protein may result in neural apoptosis after TBI. CTP can reduce the expression of Fas protein and neural apoptosis.

AIM: To examine the effects of L-carnitine on apoptosis and oxidant injury in cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes induced by hypoxia/reoxygenation and its possible mechanism. METHODS: The cultured cardiomyocytes were divided into three groups, control, A/R group (anoxia for 120 min, reoxygenation for 240 min) and L-carnitine treatment group, in which cells were exposed to 20 mg/L, 50 mg/L, 100 mg/L, 200 mg/L L-carnitine respectively at 2 h before anoxia. The superoxide dismutase (SOD), succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) activities and malondialdehyde (MDA) content were examined, and the apoptosis was determined by flow of cytometry (FCM). Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of 125I seed implantation combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in the treatment of primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC).Methods 156 patients who had unresectable PHC seen from January 2012 to December 2015 in our unit were randomly assigned into the study group (76 patients) and the control group (80 patients).The study group of patients were treated with intra-hepatic implantation of 125I seed + TACE,and the control group of patients were treated with three dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) + TACE.After ra diotherapy the two groups of patients underwent 2 to 3 times TACE treatment.The biomarker levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the short-term efficacy,clinical safety and 1 year survival rates were assessed.Results The success rates of the treatment for the two groups were both 100％.Patients in the study group were implanted with 1 016 125I seeds,with an average of (13.7 ± 2.5) seeds per patient.The two groups had no significant difference on short-term efficacy (P ＞ 0.05).The DCR,ORR and 1 year survival rates in the study group were 63.2％,92.1％,55.5％,and they were 61.3％,90.0％,58.1％ in the control group,respectively.There were no significant differences between these 2 groups (P ＞ 0.05).At 1 month after treatment,the two groups had no significant differences onAFP,IGF-Ⅱ and IGFBP-2 [(5.08±0.85) μg/L vs.(5.12 ±0.79) μg/L,(4.77 ±0.58) μg/L vs.(4.86 ±0.53) μg/L,(4.98 ±0.67) μg/L vs.(5.04 ±0.71) μg/L] (P＞0.05).There were no signif-icant differences on chemotherapy drug toxicities between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).The incidence of radi-ation hepatitis in the study group was 1.3％,while the incidences of radiation dermatitis,hepatitis,gastriculcer in the control group were 5.0％,8.8％,2.5％,respectively.The radiation dermatitis incidence inthe study group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).In the study group,2 pa-tients (2.6％) had their 125I seed slightly moved.Conclusion The short-term efficacy of 125I seed implan-tation plus TACE in the treatment of PHC is no less than the 3DCRT + TACE regimen,but with less radia-tion side effects.

Objective To evaluate the impact of customized rehabilitation exercise plans based on the results of cardiopulmonary exercise test(CPET)on cardiac function and prognosis in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 52 CHF patients admitted to Chengde Central Hospital from February 2020 to September 2021 were selected as the study subjects,and the patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the principle of randomized controlled study,with 26 cases in each group.The control group received rehabilitation treatment excluding exercise.The observation group was given routine rehabilitation treatment and high-intensity rehabilitation exercise plans based on CPET guidance.Above anaerobic threshold Δ50%power was exercise intensity,exercise time was 30 minutes/day,4 days/week,and intervention period was 12 weeks.Before and 12 weeks after intervention,CPET functional indicators,serum brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),and 6-minute walking distance(6MWD)were measured.The Minnesota CHF quality of life questionnaire(LiHFe)was used to evaluate patient's quality of life,readmission rate and cardiogenic mortality within 1 year of follow-up,and univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze factors affecting readmission of CHF patients.Results ① Cardiopulmonary function indicators:there was no statistically significant difference in the anaerobic threshold,peak oxygen uptake,and peak oxygen pulse of CPET functional indicators before and after intervention in the control group,after intervention,the CPET functional indicators in the observation group were significantly higher than those before intervention,and the above indexes in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group[anaerobic threshold(mL·min-1·kg-1):10.77±1.40 vs.9.59±1.11,anaerobic threshold(%ped):78.95±11.39 vs.70.09±6.48,peak oxygen uptake(mL·min-1·kg-1):15.63±1.36 vs.14.27±1.72,peak oxygen uptake(%ped):72.42±6.91 vs.63.41±7.31,peak oxygen pulse(mL/order):11.38±1.29 vs.9.05±1.64,peak oxygen pulse(%ped):90.23±10.16 vs.80.53±6.73,all P＜0.05].②Serum indicators,cardiac function indicators,exercise ability indicators,and quality of life evaluation:there was no statistically significant difference in serum indicators BNP,cardiac function indicators LVEDD,LVEF,exercise ability indicators 6MWD,and quality of life LiHFe scores between the two groups before intervention.After intervention,BNP and LiHFe scores were significantly reduced compared with before intervention,while LVEF and 6MWD were both increased compared with before intervention,and the changes of the above indexes in the observation group were more significant than those in the control group[BNP(ng/L):313.25±77.91 vs.445.89±110.67,LVEF:0.41±0.08 vs.0.37±0.06,6MWD(m):495.62±91.35 vs.416.04±65.29,LiHFe score:23.27±6.02 vs.29.50±4.61,all P＜0.05].③ Prognostic follow-up:the readmission rate within 1 year in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(23.08%vs.53.85%),and there was no statistically significant difference in the mortality rate of cardiogenic diseases between the two groups.④Logistic univariate analysis showed that hyperlipidemia,New York Heart Association(NYHA)grading,BNP,and rehabilitation exercise were factors that affect the prognosis of CHF patients[odds ratio(OR)and 95%confidence interval(95%CI)were 0.098(0.019-0.494),0.069(0.016-0.294),1.018(1.007-1.029),and 3.889(1.178-12.841),respectively,all P＜0.05].Multivariate analysis showed that after adjusting for other factors,hyperlipidemia,NYHA grading,and BNP were risk factors affecting the prognosis of CHF patients(OR and 95%CI were 0.068(0.007-0.687),0.048(0.005-0.415),1.016(1.002-1.030),respectively,with P＜0.05],the use of rehabilitation exercise therapy was a protective factor affecting the prognosis of CHF patients[OR and 95%CI were 11.179(1.135-10.124),P＜0.05].Receiver operator characteristic curve(ROC curve)analysis showed that hyperlipidemia,NYHA grading,BNP,rehabilitation exercise therapy,and combined testing all had predictive value for the patient's prognosis(all P＜0.05),and the prediction value of joint detection was the highest,with the area under the ROC curve(AUC)=0.984 and P = 0.000.Conclusion Developing a high-intensity individualized cardiac exercise rehabilitation plan under the guidance of CPET can help improve the cardiopulmonary function,cardiac function,and quality of life of CHF patients,which is of great benefit for improving the long-term prognosis of CHF patients and has high safety.

OBJECTIVE：To systematically evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Shenfu qiangxin pills combined with chemical medicine conventional therapy in the treatment of chronic heart failure ，and to provide evidence-based reference for clinical drug use. METHODS ：Retrieved from CNKI ，Wanfang database ，VIP，Google Scholar ，PubMed，the Cochrane Library and Embase database ，RCTs about Shengfu qiangxin pills combined with chemical medicine conventional therapy （trial group ） versus chemical medicine conventional treatment （control group ）were collected during the inception to May 12th，2020. After literature screening and data extraction ，the quality of the literatures was evaluated with risk bias assessment tool recommended by Cochrane 5.1.0 system evaluator manual. Meta-analysis and sensitivity analysis were performed by using Stata 14.0 software. RESULTS：A total of 7 RCTs were included ，involving 596 patients. Meta-analysis results showed that the total response rate of trial group was significantly higher than that of control group [OR ＝4.14，95％CI（2.15，7.97），P＜0.000 01]；the results of sub-group analysis according to the different criteria for determining the efficacy showed that the total response rates of trial group determined by Lee integral method and cardiac function grading method were sig nificantly higher than that of the control group （P＜0.05）. After treatment ，N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide （NT-proBNP） level of trial group was significantly lower than that of control group [OR ＝－1.33，95％CI（－1.55， qq.com －1.11），P＜0.000 01]. Results of sub-group analysis accor- ding to cardiac failure type showed that NT-proBNP level of patients with chronic heart failure in trial group was lower than control group （P＜0.001）. The level of left ventricular ejection fraction （LVEF）in trial group after treatment [WMD ＝5.76，95％CI （5.05，6.47），P＜0.000 01] was significantly higher than control group ；after treatment ，the level of B-type natriuretic peptide [SMD＝－1.61，95％CI（－2.58，－0.54），P＜0.000 01]，left ventricular end-diastolic diameter （LVEDD）level [WMD ＝ －6.06，95％CI（－6.84，－5.27），P＜0.000 01]，left ventricular end-systolic diameter level [WMD ＝－0.52，95％CI（－5.70，－4.33）， P＜0.000 01] were significantly lower than control group. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups（P＞0.05）. Results of sensitivity analysis showed that when NT-proBNP ，LVEF level ，LVEDD level after treatment were used as indicators ，there was no significant difference in the analysis results after eliminating heterogeneity source ， compared with before elimination. CONCLUSIONS ：Shenfu qiangxin pills combined with chemical medicine conventional treatment has good efficacy and safety.

Objective: To construct influenza B virus Vero cell adapted strain by genetic recombination technology by using the influenza B virus Vero cell adapted strain as the parent strain. Methods: The chick embryo and Vero cell were co-infected with influenza virus Vero cell adapted strain B/Malaysia/2506/2004 Va (Bv) and the vaccine strain B/massachusetts/2/2012 (BX-51B) recommended by WHO. The reassortants were screened with the anti-Bv serum. Plaque-purified reassortants were used to screen for Vero cell-adapted influenza B virus strains containing the surface antigen of the epidemic strain. Results: A Vero cell-adapted influenza B virus strain was obtained with successive passage in Vero cells. The hemagglutination inhibition test and the one-way immunogold agar diffusion test both showed that the reassortant virus was homologous to NYMC BX-51B, and sequence analysis result showed that the reassortment virus has the same HA and NA gene with the vaccine strain. Conclusion B/Malaysia/2506/2004Va (Bv) can be used as a parent strain to prepare Vero cell vaccine against influenza B virus.
