ObjectiveTo study the cognitive function and observe the changes of event-related potential of epileptic children.Methods45 epileptic children and 45 normal children were put in as the test group and the control group. The cognitive function and event-related potential were evaluated by means of Raven's standard Progressive Matrices (SPM) and evoked potential instrument respectively.ResultsAbout 33.3% epileptic children presented cognitive deficits. For children with cognitive deficits, their scores of B, E were significantly different from those in the control group(P<0.05).The latency of event-related potential P300 showed significantly prolonged than that of the control group (P<0.01).ConclusionEpilepsy may cause cognitive function deficit, especially in the ability of analog, analysis and abstract. The latency of event-related potential P300 is a very good objective to assess the cognitive function of children.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2007;21(22):1029-1050
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the pathogenesis of unknown nosebleed patients.
METHOD:
The ELISA test were used to detected plasma Urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) and Urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR) level in 19 cases unknown factor nosebleed patients and 36 health persons.
RESULT:
The results showed uPAR and uPA level in nosebleed group (before treatment) uPAR (0.14 +/- 0.04) microg/L, uPA (0.24 +/- 0.09) microg/L; (after treatment) uPAR (0.08 +/- 0.02) microg/L, uPA (0.18 +/- 0.07) microg/L. And normal group uPAR (0.07 +/- 0.03) microg/L, uPA (0.17 +/- 0.05) microg/L. The uPAR and uPA level in nosebleed group before treatment is higher than that in normal group (P <0.05). There is no significant difference between nosebleed group after treatment and normal group (P>0.05).
CONCLUSION
The reasons of uPAR and uPA level high in unknown factor nosebleed patients were not clear, maybe relation to vascular endothelial cell, smooth muscle cell and neutrophil-monocytic release more uPAR and uPA. So uPAR and uPA density of nostril accumulation is more high in its microenvironment, that fibrinolytic system activated increase and result in its hyperactivity, and happened nosebleed when blood be in hypocoagulable state.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2023;22(1):120-124
Objective:To evaluate the teaching effect of multi-disciplinary integrated training program on the open comprehensive training room to improve the post competency of medical imaging students. Methods:A total of 122 residential students of five-year medical imaging from Batch 2014 of The First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College were divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group carried out the multi-disciplinary open comprehensive training program, and the control group carried out open-ended exercises. The comprehensive discipline theory examination, assessment of clinical thinking and comprehensive skill appraisal, and satisfaction questionnaire results were compared between the two groups. SPSS 23.0 was used for t test. Results:①Comprehensive discipline theory examination scores were higher in experimental group than the control group [(80.33±3.70) vs. (74.56±5.09)], with statistical differences ( P<0.05). ②Experimental group scored higher in clinical thinking and comprehensive skills than the control group did, and the difference was statistically significant [(87.58±3.15) vs. (74.52±3.66), P<0.05]. ③The questionnaire investigation showed that the experimental group students did better in improving autonomous learning ability, expression ability, the team cooperation ability, the ability to find and fix problems and the degree of self-esteem than control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The multi-disciplinary open comprehensive training program has a good effect on optimizing the open-ended exercises. Students' knowledge of multi-disciplinary comprehensive theoretical knowledge and imaging skills have been improved, and the ability of teamwork, problem-solving ability, self-learning ability and innovation ability required by the core competence of the profession have been developed and improved, which meets the modern medical treatment of education "to create an educational platform of medical education collaboration and multi-disciplinary integration, and to cultivate students' innovative and autonomous learning."
