Objective To analyze the association HLA DQ gene polymorphism to MG susceptibility. Methods HLA DQA1 and DQB1 were genetyped using PCR RFLP Results Comparing the frequency of HLA DQA1 alleles between MG patients with hyperplasia or MG males with disease onset less than 30 years and the healthy controls It was found that the frequency of DQA1*0301 was significantly increased Furthermore,in comparison with the frequency of HLA DQB1 alleles between MG patients (included subgroups)and the healthy controls, the frequency of DQB1*0303 was significantly increased, while the frequencies of DQB1*0601 and DQB1*0602 were significantly decreased And these differences were statistically significant. Conclusions HLA DQA1*0301 contributes to the genetic susceptibility of MG with hyperplasia and MG males with disease onset ≤30 years old DQB1*0303 was susceptible to MG DQB1*0601 and DQB1*0602 were protective genes

Objective To establish an HPLC method to determine the contents of dauricine in Menispermi Rhizoma from different producing areas. Methods C18 was set as chromatographic column filler, with acetonitrile-water-triethylamine (45:55:0.1) as the mobile phase, 284 nm as the ultraviolet wavelength detection, 1 mL/min as the flow rate, 30 ℃ as the column temperature. HPLC chromatograms of eight different batches of Menispermi Rhizoma were established. Results HPLC testing conditions of Menispermi Rhizoma was established. Within 20-100 μg/mL, there was a good linear relationship between the injection volume of the reference substance and the peak area (r=0.9995). The average recovery of dauricine was 100.30%, RSD=1.000%. The contents of dauricine in Menispermi Rhizoma from different producing areas were different. Conclusion The HPLC method is with sensitivity, accuracy, precision, good reproducibility and simple operation, which can be used as detection method to determine the content of dauricine in Menispermi Rhizoma.

Objective To investigate the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on motor recovery in patients with incomplete spinal cord injury (SCI). Methods 22 patients with T5~T12 incomplete spinal cord injury (ASIA C) were randomly divided into rTMS group and control group. 12 ptients in rTMS group were treated with 10Hz rTMS (10×5 s with 2 min interval) on motor cortex and rehabilitation. 10 patients in control group treated with rehabilitation only. They were assessed with ASIA motor score, ASIA pin prick score, ASIA light touch score, range of motion (ROM) of legs in antigravitation position, walking index for spinal cord injury Ⅱ (WISCIⅡ) and functional independence measure (FIM) score before and 4 weeks after treatment. Results There was no difference between two groups with the clinical assessment before treatment (P>0.05). The ASIA motor score, ROM of legs and FIM score improved in both groups after treatment (P<0.05). The score of WISCIⅡ also improved in rTMS group (P<0.05), and ASIA motor score improved more in rTMS group than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion rTMS can facilitate the recovery of the motor and walking function in patient with incomplete spinal cord injury.
