1.Discussion on Synthetic Evaluation Index System and Method for Routine Immunization Quality
Chinese Journal of Vaccines and Immunization 2001;7(2):106-108
Four kinds of indexes were selected to build up the routine immunization quality evaluating system. The indexes were the estimated immunization coverage rate, timely reporting rate of routine immunization report forms, incidence level of diseases related to EPI, and the external factors influencing routine immunization. By using deducing mark method, we evaluated the synthetic routine immunization quality on city and county level in Hubei Province. This evaluating index system and method have the characteristics of easy to perform, credibility, reasonableness and can be applied widely.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(09):-
Objective To study the imaging diagnostic methods of fibrous dysplasia. Methods 31 patients with fibrous dysplasia proved pathologically were studied. In addition to CT scan in 11 cases and MRI in 6 cases, plain films were performed in all 31 cases. The compartive analysis was made between the features of plain film and CT.Results Of 31cases, 18 patients had monostotic fibrous dysplasia and 13 polyostotic lesions. Roentgenologically, they were divisible into 4 type: cystic type(18 lesions),diffuse type(30 lesions),sponge groud-flesh type(2 lesions) and moth-eaten type(2 lesions). CT features of lesions were classified into 2 type: cystic expanded type(38 lesions) and osteosclerotic type(7 lesions). Conclusion X-ray film should be used as the first choice in diagnosis of fibrous dysplasia. CT is hightly sensitive in displaying the craniofacial lesions. The lesions can be correctly diagnosed in most instances,if plain film combined with CT.

Pain due to chronic soft tissue injury of the neck and shoulder is a commonly encountered and frequently occurring condition. Traditional Chinese medicine is a common course of treatment for soft tissue injury and may have better therapeutic effects than biomedical options.

In this study,a series of new sildenafil analogues 11-27 possessing a guanidine group were synthesized to investigate their PDE5 inhibitory activity and selectivity using[~3H]cGMP SPA kit in vitro and efficacy in the rat model of erection. Most of the compounds showed potent activity against PDE5,and more importantly, several compounds exhibited higher PDE5 selectivity over PDE6 than that of sildenafil.Structure-activity relationship of these sildenafil analogues was also discussed.Within this series of compounds, compound 15(IC_(50) =1.7 nmol/L)not only exhibited more potent PDE5 inhibitory activity than that of sildenafil (IC_(50) = 6.5 nmol/L),but also showed functional efficacy in the rat model of erection.

Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is a commonly encountered and frequently occurring disease. Traditional Chinese osteopathic manipulations may have better therapeutic efficacy than that of other methods in treating patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of pneumatically ballistic extracorporeal shockwave on chronic nonspecific low back pain. Methods 66 cases with chronic nonspecific low back pain were randomly divided into treatment group (n=33) and control group (n=33). There were 1 case drop-out in the treatment group and 2 in the control group. The treatment group accepted pneumatically ballistic extracorporeal shockwave, and the control group accepted hot magnet for 2 weeks. They were assessed with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Finger-floor Distance (FFD) before and after treatment. Results The scores of VAS and FFD improved in both groups after treatment (P<0.05), and the difference before and after treatment were more in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The pneumatically ballistic extracorporeal shockwave is more effective on chronic nonspecific low back pain than hot magnet.

Background Drinking water contains a variety of chemicals that may pose certain health risks to the human body. Objective To evaluate carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic health risks of chemical pollutants in drinking water in Nanjing from 2014 to 2022. Methods According to the Standard examination methods for drinking water (GB/T 5750-2006) and the Standards for drinking water quality (GB 5749-2006), the conventional water quality indexes of finished water, tap water, and secondary water supply in Nanjing from 2014 to 2022 were monitored. The health risk assessment model recommended by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) was used to assess the health risks of 16 chemicals [arsenic, cadmium, chromium (hexavalent), lead, mercury, selenium, cyanide, fluoride, nitrate nitrogen, trichloromethane, carbon tetrachloride, aluminum, iron, manganese, copper, and zinc] in drinking water through different routes (drinking water and skin contact) in different populations (adult males, adult females, and children). Region (urban and rural), water period (dry period and wet period), and water sample type (finished water, tap water, and secondary water supply) were stratified for analysis. Results From 2014 to 2022, a total of

OBJECTIVETo review the re-examination sampling method and procedure of national immunization survey for the national immunization program vaccines coverage at the township level by the national level in 2013, China.
METHODSAccording to the result of immunization coverage at the township level through self-assessment by county, all townships were stratified by whether a township with ≥ 90% immunization coverage for the second dose of measles-containing vaccines (MCV2), and a township was urban or rural. After then, 2 townships for each province were randomly sampled from those strata through the surveyselect procedure of the statistics analysis system 9.2 (SAS 9.2).
RESULTS64 townships were randomly sampled from 32 provincial units for the re-examination, i.e. an urban township and a rural township each province, of which there were 38 townships with ≥ 90% MCV2 coverage and 26 townships with < 90% MCV2 coverage. There were 24 urban townships, 2 rural townships with < 90% MCV2 coverage and 8 urban townships, 30 rural townships with ≥ 90% MCV2 coverage, respectively.
CONCLUSIONSBased on the information of the self-assessment result of immunization coverage survey by counties, Stratified randomized sampling were employed for the re-examination through the Surveyselect procedure of statistics analysis system (SAS) to implement the sampling procedure. This can enhance the sampling efficiency, ensure the randomness of the sample, and make the survey much more representative and comparable.
