Objective To determine sonographic features and outcome of fetal lung abnormal lesions. Methods Blood supply of the lesion, fetus hydrops and other extra-lung anomalies should be evaluated by color Doppler flow image(CDFI) when abnormal lesion was detected in fetus lung during routine scanning. The fetus with lung abnormal lesion without hydrops at the first time scanning should be monitored by ultrasound in every four to six weeks. Results Forty cases fetus presented lung abnormal lesions, which included 21 cases with hyperechogenic solid masses,15 cases with cystic-solid mixture masses,4 cases with cystic masses. Lesions of 8 cases were demonstrated systemic arterial blood supply arising from the aorta on CDFI and the diagnosis of pulmonary sequestration (PS) were suggested. Seventeen cases lesion that had small size or decreased or disappeared or remained stable in size with gestational age developing had normal neonate. Conclusions CDFI is very useful in detecting abnormal lesion of the fetal lung and differentiating pathology and evaluating the prognosis. The outcome of isolated lung lesion without hydrops and mediastinal shift that decreased or disappeared or remained stable in size had a good prognosis.

Objective: To investigate the impact for family history of hypertension on masked hypertension (MH) morbidity with relevant cardiac damage. Methods: Our research included in 3 groups: MH group, n=250 consecutive patients treated in our hospital from 2010-01 to 2015-04, Hypertension group, n=250 and Control group, n=250 subjects with normal blood pressure. The family history of hypertension, general clinical information, routine biochemical indexes and the findings of echocardiography were studied and compared among different groups. Results: ① There were 70 (28%) patients with family history of hypertension in MH group, 87 (34.8%) in Hypertension group and 26 (10.4%) in Control group. The ratio of family history of hypertension in MH group was higher than Control group, P<0.001, while it was similar between MH group and Hypertension group, P>0.05. Logistic regression analysis presented that family history of hypertension and body mass index were positively related to the morbidities of MH (r=1.468, r=0.173) and hypertension (r=1.195, r=0.086). ② Compared with Control group, MH group had increased left ventricular mass index (85.64 ± 17.7) g/m2 vs (80.50 ± 15.53) g/m2 and the maximum blood flow velocity of aortic valve (115.74 ± 16.54) cm/s vs (112.40±14.21) cm/s, all P<0.05. In MH group, compared with those without family history of hypertension, the patients with family history had the higher left ventricular mass index (89.22 ± 19.08) g/m2 vs (84.25 ± 16.99) g/m2 and the maximum blood flow velocity of aortic valve (119.19 ± 14.97) g/m2 vs (114.39 ± 16.96) g/m2, all P<0.05. Conclusion: The subjects with family history of hypertension had the higher risk of MH morbidity with more severe cardiac damage.

Objective To evaluate the effect of the clinical nursing path integrated with the holistic nursing on advanced schistosomiasis patients with ascites. Methods A total of 226 advanced schistosomiasis patients with ascites were randomly di?vided into a control group and an experimental group (113 cases each group). The subjects in the experimental group were nursed by the clinical nursing path integrated with the holistic nursing, while those in the control group were nursed only by the holistic nursing. Then the clinical relevant indexes of the two groups were observed, and the quality of life of the patients before and after hospital discharge was assessed. Results The improvement rate, satisfaction degree, and awareness rate of health knowledge of the patients in the experiment group were 93.8%,100%and 97.4%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05). The mortality rate and the complication rate of the patients in the experimental group were 0 and 2.7%,respectively,which were significantly lower than those of the control group(both P<0.05). In addi?tion, the average hospitalization days and the hospitalization cost of the experiment group were(12.2 ± 0.7)d and(4 725.0 ± 310.1)Yuan respectively, which were less than those of the control group(both P<0.01). When 6 months after the discharge from hospital, the quality of life of the patients in the experimental group in various fields was significantly better than that of the control group(all P<0.05). Conclusions The clinical nursing pathway integrated with holistic nursing can effectively improve the improvement rate and decrease the mortality of the advanced schistosomiasis patients with ascites;meanwhile,it can short?en the hospitalization time and save the hospitalization cost. Therefore, this nursing model is suitable for popularization and ap?plication in the treatment and nursing work of the advanced schistosomiasis assistance.

Objective To study the effect and safety of endoscopic retrograde appendicitis therapy (ERAT) in treating patients with uncomplicated acute appendicitis. Methods Patients with uncomplicated acute appendicitis were enrolled and divided into ERAT group and LA group received laparoscopic appendectomy. Then compare treat-ment condition, complications and follow-up of the two groups. Results ERAT were completed successfully in all the patients in ERAT group, while one patient underwent a reversion to open appendectomy for technical difficulties in LA group. Mean operative time was (49.7 ± 18.2) min for ERAT group and (68.9 ± 25.9) min for LA group (P <0.05). Fever relief time (1.3 ± 0.5) d, WBC normalization time (2.0 ± 0.9) d, mean bed time (0.1 ± 0.2) d and mean hospital stay (3.3 ± 1.6) d for ERAT group were significantly lower than LA group (P <0.05). 14 patients with intra-luminal appendicoliths (7 of massive appendicoliths, 4 of broken appendicoliths and 3 of broken appendicoliths with luminal stenosis) underwent endoscopic lithotomy successfully in ERAT group, resulting in a success rate of 100.00%. One patient presented perforation after ERAT was cured with conservative treatment. During the follow-up of at least 1/2 year, the rate of recurrence was 10.00% in ERAT group. 1 patient (5.00%) underwent LA at the 5th month after ERAT during the follow-up. Conclusion ERAT is an effective and safe therapy in treating patients with uncomplicated acute appendicitis with advantages of minimal invasiveness and quick recovery. Uncomplicated acute appendicitis with appendicoliths and/or luminal stenosis are the most suitable indications for ERAT.
