AIM To Investigate the effect of breviscapine on delayed outward potassium current in single ventricular cell of guinea pig. METHOD Using whole cell patch clamp technique. RESULTS Breviscapine enhanced I k dose dependently. Breviscapine with the concentration of 0\^01 and 0\^02 mg?L -1 increased I k by 44.6% and 78.3%,respectively. The effect could be reversed by washing. CONCLUSION Breviscapine can open the K + channel and incrase I k .

Objective To compare the clinical efficacies of warm needling versus salt moxibustion in treating knee osteoarthritis. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly allocated to groupsⅠ andⅡ, and control group, 40 cases each. GroupⅠ received salt moxibustion; groupⅡ, warm needling; the control group, routine medication. After 4 weeks of treatment, the Lysholm Knee Scoring Scale scores, the VAS scores, the quality of life scores and the clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the three groups. Results There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the Lysholm Knee Scoring Scale scores, the VAS scores and the quality of life scores in the three groups (P<0.05). There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in the Lysholm Knee Scoring Scale scores and the VAS scores between groupⅠ orⅡ and the control group (P<0.05). The total efficacy rate was 90.0% in groupⅠ, 87.5% in groupⅡ and 70.0% in the control group. There was a statistically significant difference in total efficacy rate between groupⅠ orⅡ and the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions Warm needling and salt moxibustion are both effective way to treat knee osteoarthritis and have equal therapeutic effects.

[Objective]To recommend the detailed operative skill of lower cervical transpedicle screw and peri-operative experience.[Method]From July 2004 to April 2006,based on anatomical research of cadaver,15 cases involved lower cervical had been treated by transpedicle screws and plate or rod, which assisted in fluoroscopic moniter.Lateral mass needed be revealed completely, thus basilar part of superior articular process could be recognized. The central point of screw inserted were laid on the surface of lateral mass: 5mm inner to the outside border of lateral mass;3mm below to the inferior of superior articular process.Ball-like burr was used to de-cortical.Made a pathway with 2 mm hand-drill paralleled with the upper end-plate cartilage of the vertebra and maintain abduction angle about 40?~45? with middle line of the vertebra,self-designed pedicle probe was used to ensure safety tunnel of cancellated bone.3.5 mm cortical screws were adoption and thread was not recommend.[Result]Eightysix lower cervical pedicle screws had been inserted successfully in C3~7 vertebra, exclude a failed C4 screw.Average screws length was(26 + 1.6)mm and abduction angle based on postoperative CT scan was 37.9??5.4?.Abundant bleeding was occurred while built the pedicel pathway in 2 screws, and there were 6 screws showed perforation of the pedical wall refer to postoperative CT scan. No evidence indicated the complication about injury of vessel or nerve structure.[Conclusion] The technique of lower cervical transpedicle screw are relatively safet.Successful screw insertion depends on subtile sense of operation doctor's hand.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(07):-
Objective To develop electronic touch-screen inpatient satisfaction questionnaires so as to improve the real-fimeness and accuracy of data processing in patient satisfaction surveys and evaluations. Methods 266 inpatients from 20 clinical departments of a certain hospital in Zhangjiakou were asked to make satisfaction evaluations via a touch screen and the reliability and validity of the questionnaires were assessed by statistical and psychological means. Results The item response rate was 98.72%, the effective rate was 98.1%, and the a reliability coefficient for internal consistency was 0.9474; the composition of the questionnaires, which matched the reality of management, supported contents validity; a factor analysis showed that the factor load and structure, which matched the structure of the questionnaires, supported structure validity; intra-factor correlations, which were stronger than interfactor correlations, supported aggregation and discrimination validity. Conclusion The questionnaires, reliable andvalid, interface friendly and easy to operate, facilitate their use by patients with different backgrounds. The real-time occurrence and antomatic pooling of survey data render possible the automation of data collection in patient satisfaction surveys and evaluations.

OBJECTIVE To analyse the infection of Acinetobacter baumannii(ABA) in ICU of Cardiac Surgery, and make analysis for its resistance to 14 antibiotics.METHODS The collection of clinic stains of ABA isolated from ICU in 2008.The pathogens were identified by VITEK-Jr.RESULTS The drug resistance rates of Imipenem and cefoperazone/sulbactam were 74.4% and 18.6%.The resistance rates to other drugs were more than 70%.CONCLUSIONS ABA strains isolated show the trend of multi-durg resistance. We should pay more attention to the monitor of the resistance to antibiotics.

Journal of Practical Radiology 1996;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate tumor angiogenesis and clinical significance by contrast-enhanced CT in case of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods 30 patients with NSCLC underwent dynamic thoracic CT, and histopathological slides were carefully prepared for VEGF immunohistochemical staining. Maxium attenuations of dynamic CT were compared with VEGF expression levels and lymph-node metastases. Results The mean peak attentation was (36.28?6.41)HU, VEGF positive expressions were in 21 patients, and negative expressions were in 9 patients. VEGF expression levels in patients with NSCLC stage II and III were higher than those in stage I , and in lymph node metastases group, the expression levels of VEGF were also higher than those in non-metastatic nodes. CT enhancement of NSCLC was positively related to VEGF expression, neoplasm stage and lymph-node metastases. Conclusion CT enhancement of NSCLC can reflect tumor angiogenesis and correlate to lymph-node metastases closely, help lung cancer diagnoses, neoplasm stage, and serve as a supplement to the present staging system for lung cancer in biological behavior.

Objective To analyze the clinical features, and prognosis of the interstitial lung disease (ILD) in patients with dermatomyositis (DM) and polymyositis (PM) by chest X-ray,chest high-resolution CT scan (HRCT) and pulmonary lung function. Methods Thirty-three patients hospitalized with DM/PM associated ILD were retrospectively analyzed. Results Thirty-three patients with ILD were confirmed by HRCT.Abnormal pulmonary function tests were available in 82% of patients.Clinical-imaging analysis revealed that the pathological features of ILD were non-specific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP,57%) and unusual interstitial pneumonia (UIP,25%).UIP types showed a poor prognosis and high mortality (70%).Conclusion This study shows that HRCT is more sensitive for the diagnosis of ILD than lung function tests and chest X-ray.Combined HRCT and chest X-ray with lung function tests and blood gas analysis have shown that the major pathological types of ILD are NSIP and UIP,in which UIP are associated with high mortality and poor prognosis.
