1.Evaluation about effects of health education on patients with coronary heart disease when combined with depression and anxiety

Objective To know the effects of health education on patients with coronary heart dis-ease when combined with depression and anxiety. Methods Divided 62 patients with coronary heart dis-ease when combined with depression and anxiety into the intervention group(34 eases) and the control group(28 cases) randomly. Routine treatment and nursing cares were used in the control group, while the psychological intervention was used in the intervention group in addition. Evaluated the mental status of two groups by SDS and SAS at the time points of beginning and end of the intervention. SAQ was used after the intervention to know the treatment effects of two groups, days in hospital was analyzed. Results The points of SDS and SAS in the intervention group was significant lower than those of in the control group after the research, which was also significant lower than themselves at the beginning of the intervention. The time in hospital of control group was significant longer than in the intervention group. Conclusions Health educa-tion can effective promote the treatment effects for patients with coronary heart disease when combined with depression and anxiety, and then shorten the course in hospital.

3.Protective mechanism of salubrinal against apoptosis induced by lipopolysaccharide in H9C2 cardiomyocytes

Objective To investigate the mechanism of apoptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress during sepsis.Methods Septic model of H9C2 cells was established by lipopolysaccharide (LPS).CHOP mRNA,mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) and apoptosis were assessed by real-time PCR,flow cytometry respectively at LPS administration 24 h with or without salubrinal (inhibitor of endoplasmic reticulum stress).Results The expression of CHOP mRNA and apoptosis were upregulated,but MMP was decreased after LPS exposure 24 h compared with control group[2.40 ±0.30 vs 1.00 ±0,(16.58 ±2.71) % vs (3.85 ± 1.07) %,1.07 ± 0.33 vs 2.62 ± 0.51,P < 0.05).Compared with LPS group,salburinal pretreatment decreased LPS-induced upregulation of CHOP mRNA (1.60 ± 0.23 vs 2.40 ± 0.30,P < 0.05),meanwhile,salburianl alleviated MMP(1.85 ± 0.31 vs 1.07 ± 0.33,P < 0.05) and LPS-induced apoptosis [(6.05 ± 1.48) % vs (16.58 ± 2.71) %,P < 0.05].Conclusion Salubrinal plays a cytoprotective role against apoptosis induced by LPS through inhibition of CHOP mRNA,which leads to mitochondrial impairment.Endoplasmic reticulum stress may induce apoptosis via mitochondrial pathway in the septic model of H9C2 cardiomyocytes.
4.ESTABLISHMENT OF MURINE GRAFT-VERSUS-HOST DISEASE MODEL AND ITS PRELIMINARY APPLICATION

To establish murine graft versus host disease (GVHD) model, in order to evaluate the efficacy of human CD40 Ig fusion protein treatment. To establish murine GVHD model, 2 5?10 7 or 5 0?10 7 /L spleen cells of male C57BL/6 mice were intravenously injected into female BALB/c mice, as receipt, respectively, after sub lethally irradiation by 60 Co source. After the induction of GVHD, human CD40 Ig fusion protein was intravenously injected three times at a dose of 50?g, 150?g and 450?g on day 0, 2 and 4, respectively. The results showed that the typical expressions of GVHD were observed 4 or 5 days after the injection of donor spleen cells, and specific male Y chromosome fragment was amplified by genomic PCR in female BALC/c receipts. The mean survival time (MST) of GVHD induced mice was significantly prolonged by the treatment of human CD40 Ig fusion protein. It is suggested that Murine GVHD model successfully established can be used in evaluating the effects of anti GVHD therapies.

BACKGROUND: Magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging (MRDTI) may non-wounded detect damage of fiber in white matter and becomes an effectively way to evaluate upper motor neuron(UMN) impairments.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical significance of MRDTI on amyotrophic lateral selerosis(ALS).DESIGN: Case contrast observation.SETTING: Department of Neurology, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University.PARTICIPANTS: Twenty ALS patients were selected from Department of Neurology, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from April to December 2005. There were 11 males and 9 females, and their ages ranged from 33 to 73 years with the mean age of (51±10) years. All subjects met the diagnostic criteria of ALS set by World Neurology League.Other 15 healthy subjects were collected as control group. There were 8 males and 7 females, and their ages ranged from 31 to 73 years with mean age of (50±11) years. All subjects provided the confirm consent.METHODS: Based on level of upper and lower motor neuron impairments, ALS patients were divided into UMN impairment group (n =16) and lower motor neuron group (n =4). Functional scores of ALS, illness developing velocity and pyramidal sign scores were performed, respectively. All subjects were scanned with DTI at axial view. Regions of interest [subcortical white matter of precentral gyrul and postcentral gyrul (Pre-CG/Post-CG), centrum semiovale and frontal white matter (CS/FWM), peripheral lateral cerebral ventricle, posterior limb of internal capsule (PIC), cerebral peduncle (CP), genu corpus callosum and splenium corpus callosum (GCC/SCC) and dorsal thalamus (DT)] were selected to measure fractional anisotropy (FA) and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC).MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Correlations among FA, ADC, functional score of ALS, illness developing velocity and pyramidal sign scores.RESULTS: Twenty patients and 15 subjects in the control group were involved in the final analysis. ① FA was reduced and ADC increased in the posterior limb of the internal capsule in patients with UMN signs compared to healthy volunteers (t =3.452, 2.670; P < 0.01, 0.05). Nonparametric tests revealed that there was a trend toward reduced FA in the posterior limb of the internal capsule in B group compared to controls (U =11, P =0.057). ② In UMN impairment group, FA in the posterior limb of the internal capsule was positively correlated with the ALS rating scale (r =0.577, P <0.05) and negatively correlated with pyramidalsign scores (r = -0.789, P < 0.01 ),CONCLUSION : The impairment of pyramidal tracts can be noninvasively evaluated by diffusion tensor MR in vivo, thus providing useful information in diagnosing and further understanding MND.
7.A study of nontraumatic acute chest pain risk stratification in emergency department

ObjectiveTo investigate the independent risk factors of 30-day mortality of nontraumatic acute chest pain in emergency department so as to get non - traumatic acute chest pain risk score,MethodsThe clinical data of 532 patients with non - traumatic acute chest pain were reviewed.The independent risk factors of 30 - day mortality were identified after analysis of medical history,symptom and sign,laboratory findings by uuivariate analysis and logistic regression.Non- traumatic acute chest pain risk score was made as per the odds ratios of these risk factors. ResultsThe average age of the patients was (55.7 + 12.7 ) years,and 45 patients ( 8.4% ) died after 30 days.In patients with non - traumatic acute chest pain,history of hypertension (OR:4.28; 95% CI:1.59-11.55 ),prolonged chest pain (OR:1.1; 95% CI:1.05-1.15),dyspnea (OR:6.61; 95%CI:2.40-18.10) and tachycardia (OR:1.02; 95%CI:1.00-1.04),high leucocyte count (OR:1.18; 95%CI:1.06-1.31) and D - Dimer ( OR:1.002; 95% CI:1.001-1.002 ) predicted 30 - day mortality independently,whereas chest pain relieved by medicine (OR:0. 15; 95% CI:0.04-0.65),high blood oxygen saturation (SaO2) (OR:0.89; 95%CI:0.83-0.98) and normal hematocrit (OR:0.92; 95%CI:0.86-0.99) were good markers to predict optimistic prognosis.Non - traumatic acute chest pain risk score was higher in 30 - day dead group than those in survival group significantly ( P < 0.01 ),and mortality was significantly different between groups with various risk stratification (P < 0. 01 ).Conclusions Clinical physician can predict 30 - day mortality and evaluate prognosis in patients with acute chest pain by using non - traumatic acute chest pain risk score quickly and effectively.

Objective:To determine synchronously protocatechuic aldehyde and danshensu in Compound Danshen Lozenge and Dropping Pills.Methods:HPLC method was used.Results:The average recoveries(n=5) were 100.47% for Danshensu of Compound Danshensu Lozenge(RSD=1.08%) and 99.27% for protocatechuic aldehyde(RSD=1.22%), respectively. And the average recoveries(n=3) were 100.40% for Danshensu of Compound Danshen Dropping Pills(RSD=0.65%) and 98.47% for protocatechuic aldehyde(RSD=1.76%).Conclusion:This method is simple, quick with a good separation.
9.The role and mechanism of Apelin in modulation of pain in rat caudate

Objective To study the effect and possible mechanism of Apelin in candate on the pain behavior of rat. Methods Tail flick latency(TFL)of rat was taken as pain threshold and radiant heat as nociceptive stimulus. Microinjected Apelin into rat's caudate to observe the effect of Apelin on modulating of pain in CNS and then to study the interaction between Apelin and morphine in modulation of pain.And the contents of cAMP and cGMP in candate tissue and blood plasma were detected.Results Compared with control groups,the pain threshold of rat decreased when Apelin Was injected into caudate alone.Injected 0.5μl Apelin of 10~(-4) moL/L into rat caudate 10 min later,the pain threshold of rat Was reduced(-9.22±1.26)%and 40 min later(-16.95±1.46)%compared with normal saline group(-0.32±1.2)%,(0.17±0.80)%),and it had statistical significance(P<0.01).The contents of cAMP in caudate Was(14.08±2.25)nmol/g and blood plasma(19.94± 4.43)nmol/L compared with normal saline(133.05±20.41)nmol/g,(38.66±6.73)nmol/L,and they had statistical significance(P<0.01).Conclusions Apelin can facilitate the pain behavior of rat induced by radiant heat stimulus and consequently plays a hyperalgesia role in CNS.Apelin may have interaction with morphine and display its hyperalgesia effect through the intracellular second messenger cAMP.
10.Risk of Tuberculosis Infection in Hospital Workers: A Discussion

OBJECTIVE To discuss the risk of tuberculosis infection in a general hospital workers.METHODS In a cross-sectional survey,we studied purified protein derivative(PPD) test in exposure group and control group.(RESULTS) The positive rate of PPD test in the hospital workers was 84.1%,significantly higher than that in(controls)(52.1%,P0.05).The positive PPD in workers of respiratory(department) was 2.95 times higher than in those of other departments.CONCLUSIONS The(environment) of(hospital) is special.Tuberculosis infection threatens the health of hospital workers.So we suggest that hospital workers(improve) self-protective consciousness and actively prevent tuberculosis infection,especially for(internes) and(physicians) with negative PPD.
