1.Experimental study on repairing bone defect with the compound of the allogeneic morselized bone

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of the compound of the allogeneic morselized bone and the calcium phosphate cement on repairing bone defect.MethodsThe rabbit models of bilateral radius bone defect were created. 40 rabbits were randomly divided into group A, group B and group C. Animals of the group A were implanted with the compound of the allogeneic morselized bone and the calcium phosphate cement, group B implanted with allogeneic morselized bone, and group C as blank control implanted nothing. The X-ray examination, histopatholgical examination, vascularization and biomechanics of bone defect were evaluated at 4 and 8 weeks after operation.ResultsThe repair of bone defect, quantity and rate of the new formation bone and biomechanics measurement of the group A were superior than the group B; while, no repair of bone defect was found in the group C.ConclusionThe implantation of the allogeneic morselized bone can repair bone defect, but the effect of implanting the compound of the allogeneic morselized bone and the calcium phosphate cement is better than the former.
2.Dynamic Observation on Application of Tourmaline on 208 Cases of Peripheral Neuropathy with Diabetes Meilitus

Objective To observe the functions of far-infrared rays and negative ions in Tourmaline and explore its new healthcare usage. Methods Questionnaires were adopted to obtain changes of diabetic patients in terms of dyskinesia,dysreflexia, abnormal skin and muscle, kinesthesis, touch sensation, algesia, and temperature sensation after using Tourmaline bedding series. Results Diabetic patients in fight and moderate level get improvements after using the series for one year,although the patient in fight level get outstanding improvements. Data showed the shorter therapeutic courses the better therapeutic effects were obtained and the improvements highlighted the changes of pain, ferver, hypesthesia, numbness, hight attack symptoms, and motion abnormality. Motion abnormality, algesia, and temperature sensation are three sensitive indexes of this disease. Conclusion Tourmaline bedding series has the function of improving peripheral neuropathy, which may be related with Tourmaline producing far-infrared rays and negative ions.
3.Experimental study of cervical interbody fusion with combined hollow threaded autograft fixator with morselized bone transplantation

[Objective]To study cervical hollow threaded autograft cortical bone fixator with morselized bone for cervical anterior interbody fusion.[Method] Eighteen sheep were underwent cervical anterior discectomy and fusion with a hollow threaded and fenestrated tibial cortical hone fixator filled with morselized bone(diameter of 300~500 um) for C5、6 or autogenous iliac crest bone cylinder or C3、4 respectively.Cervical spines were radiographed immediately after surgery and 1,2,3 months later,the specimens of C5~6 and C3~4 were taken for histology investigation and biomechanical test respectively.[Result] Interbody fusion was achieved 3 months after surgery in experimental gronp and all but one in control group,with statisticdly significant difference was found between two groups in biomechanical compression and torsion tests of ante or post-fatigue test(P
4.Application of island flap for repair of large scale defects on face

Objective To explore the effect of the island flap application on repairing large scale defects on the face.Methods Based on the defect size,shape and location,preauricula narrow stem side geny-neck flap,submental island flap,angular artery flap,eyelid musculus orbicularis flap and nasolabial groove island flap were used to repair the large scale defects of the face in a one-stage operation.Results All flaps survived well without any obvious complications.35 patients were followed up for 1 to 36 months.Repaired tissues were well matched with the surrounding tissue.Resulting facial contour and appearance were good,and cosmetic results overall were satisfactory.Conclusion The application of island flaps to repair the large scale defects on the face in a one-stage operation is a better method that can achieve good contour and satisfactory cosmetic results.
5.Factors affecting the treatment of hypertension in Elderly in the community of Yanji Area of Shanghai

Objective To evaluate the factors affecting the treatment of old persons diagnosed hypertension. Method A sample of 55566 persons from the community of Yanji area of Shanghai was recruited. Results Among the 19295 persons over sixty there are 5842 patients with hypertension, the morbidity was 30.3%. Among the 36271 persons aged fifteen to fifty-nine there are 3536 patients with hypertension, the morbidity is 9.7%. The ratio of non-treatment in the old age group is 3.1% and in younger group is 8.8%. However,the compliance to the treatment was better in the younger than in old group(73.7% vs 56.2%). The age,hypertension grade and sex were all accounted for the differences in the regularity of the hypertension treatment. Conclusion Further effort on the education of non-old hypertensive patients is essential to decrease the damage from hypertension.
6.NF-?B activation in keloid fibroblasts stimulated with TNF-?

AIM:To investigate NF-?B p65 activation and I?B-? expression in keloid fibroblasts(KFB)and normal skin fibroblasts(NSF)stimulated with TNF-? and to explore the underlying molecular pathogenesis of keloid formation.METHODS:Primary KFB was cultured.The location of NF-?B p65 and I?B-? in KFB and NSF at quiescent condition and the nuclear translocation of NF-?B p65 after TNF-? stimulation were observed by immunofluorescence technique.NF-?B p65 DNA binding activity was detected with TransAMTM NF-?B p65 kit.The I?B-? protein level was determined by means of Western blotting technique.RESULTS:After stimulated with TNF-?,NF-?B p65 translocated into the nucleus.NF-?B p65 DNA binding activity increased to its maximum at 1 h and was dropped to normal at 4 h.TNF-? induced most degradation of I?B-? at 15 min and became detectable in cytoplasm after 4 h.KFB showed more sensitive ability to TNF-? stimulation than NSF.CONCLUSION:NF-?B may play a role in keloid pathogenesis.
7.Drug resistance detection of virus genotype in hepatitis B and analysis of its clinical factors

Objective To explore the related factors of hepatitis B virus(HBV) drug resistance and their clinical significance . Methods The retrospective analysis was performed on the dinical data in 153 cases of CHB in our hospital during 2011-2013 .The 8 viral drug resistance loci of 4 known nucleosides analogues lamivudine ,adefovir ester ,entecavir and telbivudine were performed the direct sequencing by using the double DNA end termination method(Sanger method);the related clinical factors of drug‐resist‐ant virus genotypes were statistically analyzed and the correlation between prognosis and drug resistance was analyzed .Results A‐mong 153 patients with CHB ,47 cases(29 .8% ) appeared virus genotype drug‐resistant ,the common sites were 204M‐I(18 cases) , 204M‐V(8 cases) ,followed by 181A‐T(10 cases) ,181A‐V(5 cases) ,then 180L‐M (14 cases) .The proportion of viral drug resist‐ance in the patients with family history ,HBeAg positive ,using the nucleotide analogues in the past and the baseline ALT≥5 times was significantly increased ,the incidence rates were 38 .8% ,34 .8% ,34 .6% and 50 .0% respectively .The multivariable COX re‐gression found that HBV‐DNA genetic drug resistance increased the risk of progression to cirrhosis of the liver ,the OR value was 4 .704(95% CI:1 .199 -18 .454) .Conclusion the Sanger method for direct sequencing is reliable and accurate method of HBV‐DNA genotype drug resistance .The proportion of viral drug resistance in the patients with a family history of hepatitis B ,HBeAg positive ,using nucleotide analogues and baseline ALT≥5 times is significantly increased;HBV‐DNA genotype drug resistance also increases the risk of progression to cirrhosis of the liver .
8.Effect of Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV system combined with oxaliplatin on human hepato carcinoma cells

Objective To evaluate the lethal effect of adenovirus-mediated Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV suicide gene system in combination with oxaliplatin (L-OHP) on human hepato carcinoma cell line HepG2 in vitro.Methods It was used that the replication-defective adenovirus carring the HSV-TK gene under control of the hTERT promoter to transfer the HepG2 cells in vitro. Human hepato carcinoma cell line HepG2 was transfected with MOI=100. It was studied that the grow inhibitory effct with Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV therapy, oxaliplatin, Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV therapy in combination with oxaliplatin through different drug concentration on human hepato carcinoma cell line HepG2. The growth inhibition rate of HepG2 cells was determined by trypan blue exclusion assay and MTT.Results The growth of HepG2 cells Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV, oxaliplatin, and combination of Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV and oxaliplatin was significantly slower.The more concentration the greater inhibition of cell growth. The growth inhibition rate of combined Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV with oxaliplatin was 86.63 %.The growth inhibition rate of Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV was 72.12 % compared to the combined therapy (P =0.023). The growth inhibition rate of oxaliplatin was 59.41% compared to the combined therapy (P =0.019). Combination of Ad-hTERTp-HSV-TK/GCV and oxaliplatin resulted in greater inhibition of cell growth compared with TK gene and L-OHP (P <0.05).Conclusion HSV-TK/GCV in combination with L-OHP can enhance thelethal effect of suicide gene therapy against HepG2 cells.It is more targetable than the function of single drug therapy.Also, it could reduce drug level and plays an important role on the future's clinical medication.
9.Influence of Tourmaline on Peripheral Neuropathy with Diabetes Mellitus

Objectlve To observe the influence of Tourmaline on peripheral neuropathy with diabetes mellitus(DM).Methods Tourmaline bedding series were applied to pafients with DM peripheral neuropathy,observeA the changes of subjective symptoms and nervous function,and thus analyzed the therapeutic effects of Tourmaline on DM peripheral neuropathy.Results AfarTourmalinewas usedfor halfa year,some symptoms of the diseasc were alleviated,and after one year's usage.symptoms of spontaneous pain,numbness.and burning sensation improved greatly.Body examinations showed tendon reflex.vibration sense,nerve conducfion velocity,and autonomic nerve were improved on different levels,and progress of disease was obviously coming down.Conclusion Tourmaline bedding series has the function of improving peripheral neuropathy,whichis aconvenientand safety healthcaremethodto CalTyon.
10.Multiple-slice spiral CT evaluation of occipital condyle fractures

Objective To explore the MSCT findings of occipital condyle fracture (OCF) and improve its diagnostic accuracy. Methods Nineteen patients with OCF, selected from 110 patients suffering high energy injuries at the craniocervical junction, were enrolled into the study. The MSCT appearances of OCFs were retrospectively analyzed by two experienced radiologists. OCF had four types: type Ⅰ was a comminuted fracture, type Ⅱ was a extension of basilar skull fracture, type Ⅲ was an avulsion fracture at the attachment site of alar ligament on occipital condyle, type Ⅳ was a fracture of mixed pattern consisting of two or more above fracture types. Results In 19 patients, the left, right and bilateral OCFs were seen in 7,11 cases, and 1 case, respectively. Type Ⅰ was found in one case, which was a comminution of the left occipital condyle. Type Ⅱ was found in 5 cases, which involved the middle and posterior parts of occipital condyles with 2 on the left and 3 on the right, Type Ⅲ was found in 12 cases which showed various degree of fragment displacement with 3 occuring on the left, 8 on the right, 1 involving bilateral sides, 6 involving articular surfaces and 7 accompaning by enlargment of alar ligaments. Type Ⅳ was found in one case, with coexistence of Type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ. In addition, OCFs were accompanied by head and (or) cervical spine injuries in 14 cases, which included cranial fracture in 8 cases, epidural hematoma in 4 cases, subarachnoid hemorrhage in one case, cerebral contusion and laceration in one case, subfalcial hernia in one case, cervical spine fracture and dislocation in 9 cases, and so on. Conclusion OCFs can be accurately diagnosed by MSCT, which is important for selection of treatment protocols.
