BACKGROUND:Hot-melt adhesive is safe and environmental friendly adhesive due to free of solvent, which is particularly suitable for medical applications. OBJECTIVE:To describe the types and characteristics of currently used hot-melt adhesives and to prospect the technical research and development of hot-melt adhesive for polyolefin tubes or catheters as wel as to point out the corresponding key points to the hot-melt adhesion. METHODS:Literature search was carried out in SCI, Elsevier, and CNKI with the key words of“hot melt adhesive, medical application”in English and Chinese, respectively, for the initial retrieval of relevant articles or patents published January 1995 to December 2015. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:To date, the medical hot-melt adhesives reported in the literature could be grouped as amorphous polyolefin, thermoplastic elastomer, acrylic and polyurethane types. The heat resistance of the most of the hot-melt adhesives does not meet the requirement for steam sterilizing process. In the present review, a strategy is proposed to develop a novel hot-melt adhesive which is good for binding polyolefin parts and can undergo the sterilization process. Given this, it is essential to choose a kind of polypropylene random copolymer with a suitable melting point as a substrate. With the aid of an adjuvant agent, therefore, we can develop a novel hot-melt adhesive that exhibits a lower melting point than the polyolefin tube, withstands steam sterilization temperature to ensure that the tube is not deformed during melt adhesion and is not become invalid during sterilization.

Objective To explore the research path to construct knowledge representation, knowledge analysis, knowledge presentation and knowledge reasoning of ancient stroke medical cases based on knowledge element theory and knowledge graph. Methods A multi-layered knowledge representation system of medical cases was constructed, which included"knowledge body-knowledge element-semantics and semantic relationships",and knowledge element indexing system was used to parse the text into structured data.Combined with the attribute graph model for graph design,Neo4j was used to build a knowledge graph, and visual presentation and analysis were performed. Results A total of 517 medical cases from 86 ancient books were included, forming a knowledge representation system including 2 types of knowledge bodies,19 types of knowledge elements,27 types of semantics and 9 types of semantic relationships. The original knowledge graph had 19 node types(8 virtual nodes)and 15 relationship types, totaling 6363 nodes and 14697 relationships;the integrated knowledge graph had 11 node types and 11 relationship types, totaling 1229 nodes and 11456 relationships.Hierarchical subgraph visualization and node connectivity analysis methods completed implicit knowledge exploration and reasoning. Conclusion The knowledge representation system can guide the structured expression and semantic level analysis of ancient text, and provide systematic data support for the construction of knowledge graphs. The original knowledge graph of ancient and modern dual-mode knowledge graph focuses on the visual presentation of complex diagnosis and treatment ideas, which is conducive to improving the efficiency of medical cases review;integrating the knowledge graph to build a scale-free network and using group cases as the object can realize the tacit knowledge of stroke from a macro dimension excavation.

Objective :
To investigate the relevance between vitamin D receptor ( VDR) gene promoter methylation level and idiopathic hypocitraturia of the Bai nationality in Yunnan province.
Methods :
Fifteen patients with idiopathic hypocitrouria of the Bai nationality in Yunnan province with double dominant expression (FF type) of single nucleotide polymorphism shot (SNP shot) rs2228570 (Fok Ⅰ ) genotype were selected as the experimental group. Fifteen people of the Bai nationality in Yunnan province with normal content of urinary citric acid were the control group.First, blood samples were taken from both groups.Next, the blood samples were treated with sulfites,RNA products of each sample were obtained by PCR amplification and in vitro transcription of T7 DNA polymerase. Then the corresponding RNA fragments were digested by base-specific enzymes. Finally the degree of methylation at each test site was obtained through the EpiTYPER procedure.
Results:
In the statistical results of DNA methylation level,the methylation level of VDR Ⅰ fragment experimental group was 4. 136% ( 1. 655% ,5. 152% ) which was higher than 1. 261% (0. 827% ,1. 930% ) in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P <0. 001) .Among the 33 CpG sites on VDR Ⅰ fragment,there were significant differences in DNA methylation levels of CPG-5 (F = 8. 831,P = 0. 008) and CpG-8 (F = 16. 155,P = 0. 001) between the experimental group and the control group.
Conclusion
The increased methylation level of VDR gene promoter is related with idiopathic hypocitric of the Bai nationality of Yunnan province. And compared with the normal Bai nationality people, the DNA methylation level of VDR gene promoter significantly increased in the Bai nationality patients with FF type of VDR gene SNP shot Fok Ⅰ .

With the rapid development of information technology, research on ancient TCM books has shifted from the traditional collation and digitization into intelligent knowledge service, thereby achieving the deep integration of ancient TCM books collation and clinical needs. Based on the clinical problem and knowledge element theory, we implemented in-depth indexing and knowledge mining for 600 kinds of ancient TCM books, built a knowledge sharing service platform for ancient TCM books by integrating database, cloud platform, knowledge graph and other technologies, and carried out the thematic literature research and developed databases for four major diseases including stroke, heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and diabetes. The digital intelligence products have been applied in hundreds of hospitals for evaluation and feedback. Finally, through "digital processing plus intelligent application", the two-way interaction between ancient TCM books and current clinical practice is realized, and the path and paradigm of ancient TCM books knowledge serving the modern prevention and control of major diseases is formed, providing reference for the innovative utilization of ancient TCM books.

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2023;36(2):95-100
Autologous ozonized blood transfusion(AOBT) is a therapy of re-transfusion of 100-200 mL of autologous blood after shaking and agitation with appropriate amount of oxygen-ozone in vitro. The oxidation of blood through the strong oxidation of ozone can enhance the non-specific immune response of the body, regulate the internal environment and promote health. This therapy has been increasingly applied in clinical practice, while no unified standard for the operation process in terms of ozone concentration, treatment frequency and treatment course had been established. This operation process of AOBT is primarily explored in order to standardize the operation process and ensure its safety and efficacy.
