Objective The overexpression lung cancer1( OLC1) protein is overexpressed in a variety of human tumors. The purpose of the present study is to determine whether increased expression of OLC1 is associat-ed with colorectal cancer. Methods OLC1 expression was assayed in 150 colorectal cancer tissues by immuno-histochemical staining(IHC).Multivariate and univariate analyses were performed to determine the association between OLC1 expression and prognosis. Results Immunohistochemical results revealed that 107 out of 150 colorectal cancer patients had increased levels of OLC1.OLC1 expression was significantly correlated with UICC stage(P<0.001)and histological differentiation(P<0.001)in colorectal cancer patients. The 5-year overall survival( OS) rates in patients with strong positive and less OLC1 staining were 16.6%and 95.3%,respectively (P<0.0001).Conclusion OLC1 overexpression is an important factor in colorectal carcinoma prognosis and can be an interesting potential novel biomarker for colorectal cancer.

Objective: To discuss possible ethical and boundary issues when contacting clients through WeChat in different situations. Methods: Self-made questionnaires were utilized to investigate 194 counselors' (18 counselors gave clients their job WeChat ID, 64 counselors gave their private WeChat ID, and 115 counselors do not give WeChat toclients) attitudes and behaviors of encountering multiple relationship issues when using WeChat Results: For WeChat boundary, counselors who had job WeChat ID would post more private photos and videos on the post than counselors with no job ID and without ID(P <0.01). Although 41% of counselors would use WeChat during the counseling and other related activities, only 10% of the counselors had job ID. Counselors with no ID tended to accept clients breaking the boundaries through other ways (P <0.01). Conclusion: The study indicates that counselors have encountered ethic issues of multiple relationships when using WeChat Counselors who only have private WeChat ID should increase their sensitivity of the boundary issues in the use of WeChat.

Objective:To explore the relationship between periprosthetic infection and preoperative serum levels of human β-defensin 3 (HBd-3) and interleukin-12 (IL-12) in patients with femoral neck fracture after hip replacement surgery. Methods:A prospective study was conducted to 268 patients with femoral neck fracture who underwent hip replacement surgery at Chengde Central Hospital from April 2020 to April 2022. They were divided into an infected group and an uninfected group based on whether they had periprosthetic infection within 2 weeks after surgery. The baseline data and preoperative laboratory indicators of the two groups were compared, and the relationship between preoperative serum HBd-3 and IL-12 levels and postoperative periprosthetic infection in patients was mainly analyzed. Results:Seventeen out of 268 patients with femoral neck fractures experienced periprosthetic infections after hip replacement surgery, with an infection rate of 6.34%(17/268). The body mass index, operation time, postoperative drainage time and IL-12 in the infected group were higher than those in the uninfected group: (23.75 ± 2.18) kg/m 2 vs. (21.86 ± 1.95) kg/m 2, (124.82 ± 15.93) min vs. (116.92 ± 14.75) min, (57.41±7.81) min vs. (49.65 ± 5.73) min, (64.82 ± 11.59) ng/L vs. (54.23 ± 9.55) ng/L, the preoperative albumin and HBd-3 were lower than those in the uninfected group: (32.56±4.63) g/L vs. (37.25 ± 5.81) g/L, (38.03 ± 6.74) μg/L vs. (46.84 ± 8.93) μg/L, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that high body mass index, long surgical and postoperative drainage time, and high preoperative IL-12 levels were risk factors for periprosthetic infection after hip replacement surgery in patients with femoral neck fractures ( OR>1, P<0.05), while preoperative serum albumin and HBd-3 levels were protective factors ( OR<1, P<0.05). Receiver operating characteristic curve results showed that preoperative serum HBd-3 and IL-12 alone and in combination predict AUC>0.70 for periprosthetic infection in patients with femoral neck fracture after hip replacement surgery, which had certain predictive value. The restricted cubic spline method combining spline function and Logistic regression was used for analysis, and the results showed a linear dose-response relationship between the levels of HBd-3 and IL-12 and the strength of the association with periprosthetic infection after hip replacement surgery in patients with femoral neck fracture ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Preoperative serum HBd-3 and IL-12 levels are associated with periprosthetic infection in patients with femoral neck fracture after hip replacement surgery, and can serve as predictive indicators for infection occurrence.

Objective:To investigate the clinicopathological features, treatment programs and prognosis of patients with primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in cavernous sinus. Methods:The clinical data of a patient with primary DLBCL in cavernous sinus who were admitted to Wuhan No.1 Hospital in December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed. Results:The patient was a 63-year-old female who underwent resection of the cavernous sinus lesion, and the pathological diagnosis was DLBCL. The patient received 6 courses of R-CHOP regimen chemotherapy, lumbar puncture + intrathecal injection of chemotherapy drugs, and twice additional rituximab immunochemotherapy, and no tumor cells were found in the results of liquid-based thin layer cytology for cerebrospinal fluid exfoliated cells; twice magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) re-examination after the operation showed no recurrence and adjacent metastasis of the tumor. The patient's symptoms were significantly improved without residual neurological sequelae. Conclusions:Primary DLBCL in cavernous sinus is rare in clinical practice, early diagnosis is crucial for the prognosis of patients, and different protein expression may indicate the prognosis. Biopsy, complete resection of the tumor under the premise of preserving important anatomical structures and functions, and standardized chemotherapy combined with intrathecal injection local chemotherapy can effectively prolong the survival time of patients and improve the quality of life.
