Objective To evaluate the surgical treatment of old patients with acute perforated gastroduodenal ulcer. Method The age, complications, duration of the disease history, operative method, systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SISR) and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) in 89 old patients with acute perforated gastroduodenal ulcers were analyzed retrospectively. Results Simple closure operation was performed in 78 cases and subtotal gastrectomy in the other 11 cases. Twelve patients died. The mortality and complications rate were significantly lower in the patients less than 70 -year old than those in the patients more than 70-year old (P

Objectives:To explore the influence of nutritional support treatment on patients with the injured pancreatitis. Methods:The twenty five cases with injured pancreatitis were divided into research group (13 cases of 1997-2001, with nutrition support) and control group (12 cases of 1992-1996,without nutritional support). Blood composition, biochemistry, complications, hospitalization time and mortality were compared between two groups. Results:WBC, amylase, glucose, transaminase and BUN were beginning to decrease in two days, and reached to normal limits in 6~7 days in research group. Lymphocyte count after treatment in research group was significantly different ( P

OBJECTIVE: To investigate and analyze the characteristics of early adverse drug reaction (ADR) of 131I in the treatment of hyperthyroidism. METHODS: 468 hyperthyroidism patients treated with 131I were followed up for 1 year. RESULTS: After 2~7 days of treatment, different reactions occurred in 54 cases (11.50%) including rash, itch of skin and alopecia of 16 cases (3.40%), paroxysmal muscle spasm of 19 cases (4.10%), eye discomfort of 13 cases (2.80%), aggravated symptom of 3 cases (0.60%) and thyroid pain of 3 cases (0.60%). These ADRs can last about 2 weeks to one year, and then relieved themselves. CONCLUSION: 11.50% of hyperthyroidism patients treated with 131I complain early systemic or local adverse reactions which are relieved within several months.

We applied literature review and the Delphi method to develop technical operation of manual lactation technique. The databases and websites were systematically searched, such as UpToDate, the Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, and SinoMed. The evidence related to the technique was evaluated by Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE Ⅱ), and A Measure Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews 2 (AMSTAR 2). the included evidence was classified and summarized to form the preliminary draft of the technical operation specification. A total of 26 experts were selected to evaluate the draft, and some recommendations were deleted and modified according to the screening criteria and expert opinions, resulting in the final technical specifications for manual lactation technique applicable to health care professionals. The study included 4 guidelines, 5 expert consensus articles, 2 clinical decisions, and 3 systematic reviews, and the overall quality of the evidence was fair. A total of 26 questionnaires were collected in each of 2 rounds of expert consultation, with a 100% return rate and an overall authority coefficient of 0.91. The technical practice specification was formed in 11 aspects, including assessment content, indications, contraindications, operation methods, adverse events, and treatment methods, with a total of 50 recommendations. The technical operation specification is comprehensive, and the recommendations are clearly expressed, which is in line with the real clinical situation and can provide effective reference for the clinical practice of this technique.
