Objective To observe the injury of some chief organ induced by paraquat (PQ) poisoning in rats, and to explore the mechanism. Method A total of 60 inbred line SD rats were randomly divided into experimental group (n = 30) and control group (n = 30), and each group was further divided into 6 subgroups (n =5) as per the sacrifice of rats at different intervals. The rats of experimental group received the intra-abdominal injection of paraquat (1 mg/mL, 18 mg/kg), and the rats of control group were treated with the same amount of saline solution instead. The rats of each subgroup were sacrificed separately 2 h,6 h, 12 h,24 h,72 h and 120 h after administration of PQ or saline. Lungs, livers and kidneys were taken for histopathological study. Results There was noticeable exudate in lung tissue of rats in experimental group in the early stage. And then the cystic changes in the liver of rats in experimental group were found. A noticeable hemoglobin was found in the renal tubules 24 h after modeling. But the exudation in lung decreased 24 h later, and in the mean time, the disorganization of pulmonary alveoli was obvious and some remarkable collagen appeared in the interstitial tissue of lung, and it was significantly obvious 72 h after modeling. In the liver of rats in experimental group, the injured tissue had some extent of repair in 72 h after modeling, and recovered gradually. But the injury of kidney was exacerbated 72 h after modeling. In the control group, the lung, liver and kidney were not changed in all stages after modeling. Conclusions The paraquat could induce failure of some chief organs in SD rats. The injury was most remarkable in the lung in a progressive way. The kidney injury was not more severe than that of lung tissue, but the pathological changes of the kidney became worse and worse as time taken. The injury of liver induced by paraquat was slight, and the injury could heal up gradually.

Objective To study and optimize the preparation condition of pVAX1‐wapA‐loaded nanoparticles and deter‐mine the transfection efficiency .Methods The related effects of the crucial factors for the formation of nanoparticles:concen‐tration of chitosan and TPP ,pH value ,N/P ratio were studied by single‐factor experiment ,with nanoparticles size and zeta potential as index .Cell transfection test was carried out to indicate that enhancement of cell transfection efficiency of nano‐car‐rier .Results Nanoparticles loaded DNA vaccine were nearly spherical shape with uniform particle size chitosan nanoparticle (CS) ,(219 .2 ± 18 .2) nm ;quaternary ammonium chitosan nanoparticles(CSTM) ,(222 .5 ± 15 .6) nm .Zeta potential of CS and CSTM was (24 .7 ± 3 .5) mV ,(19 .6 ± 1 .2) mV and encapsulation efficiency was 91 .24% ,87 .66% ,respectively .CSTM nano‐particle could enhance cellular uptake of pVAX1‐wapA obviously .Conclusion CSTM nanoparticle was proved to be an efficient DNA vaccine delivery vector .

Epilepsy is a common neurological disease accompanied with laden economic burdens and heavy social resources consuming. Temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) is an important subtype of the epilepsies. Our experiment was aimed to characterize the regional brain function alteration among the treatment na? ve TLE patients using ReHo. We found that elevated regional ReHo was in the left insula in the TLE patients, and the right one was cingulated, while the decreasing ReHo was in right putamen. Our result demonstrated that the key components associated with the epilepsy symptoms had altered the regional function in the TLE patients, and the disruption of cortex-thalamus-striatum loop. Our experiment provides evidence on the pathophysiological alteration in treatment na? ve TLE patients.

Objective To explore the repair of the open compound wounds in lower extremities caused by multiple factors. Methotis Transplantation of cutaneous.musculo-cutaneous or greater omentum flaps were applied to 155 patients of open compound lower extremity wounds. Results The wound healing rate following first operation was 50% and that following two operations was 14.8%.While the wounds were healed in 7.7% of patients after three operations. Conclusion Transplantations of cutaneous,musculo-cutaneous or greater omentum flaps ale effective to repair and reconstruct the open compound lower extremity wounds.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of the muscle strength around the knee joint of chondromalacia patellae patients, and to explore the difference with normal people. Methods In March, 2021, 70 knee-onset chondromalacia patellae patients (experimental group) and 35 normal people (control group) were measured isokinetic muscle strength of flexion and extension of knee in angular velocities of 60°/s and 180°/s.Results At 60°/s and 180°/s, the peak torque, the peak torque-to-weight ratio and the total work of the flexor and extensor muscles on the affected side in the experimental group were lower than that of the control group (U > 1097.0, P<0.001). The peak torque, the peak torque-to-weight ratio and the total work of the flexor and extensor muscles at 60°/s and extensor muscles at 180°/s were lower on the affected side than on the healthy side in the experimental group (|Z| > 2.121, P<0.05). The peak torque ratios at 60°/s and 180°/s were more in the affected knees than in the healthy knees of experimental group and in the control group (U > 1810.0, |Z| >3.691, P<0.01).Conclusion The explosive force and endurance of the knee flexor and extensor has weakened in patients with chondromalacia patellae, and there is imbalance in knee joint muscle strength.
