18F fluorodeoxyglucose, as a kind of tracer, has its limitations in positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT). 18F-fluorothymidine (18F-FLT) is a kind of new tracer. The value of 18F-FLT in diagnosis of tumor, tumor staging and assessment of therapeutic effects was reviewed in this article.

Objective To explore the difference of the impact with different hydrosalpinx pretreatment methods in vitro fertiliza-tion-embryo transfer ﹝ IVF-ET ﹞.Methods 160 patients with routine IVF-ET’s hydrosalpinx were random divided into two groups :the first 80 patients undergoing routine bolt blocking the fallopian tubes for the study group;the other 80 patients with rou-tine salpingectomy as control group patients,after treatment,compare the difference on ovarian function between the two groups.Re-sults In the study group,although these difference,the average number of oocytes,fertilization rate,clinical pregnancy rate and other indicators,were not statistically significant (P>0.05),they were higher than the control group;early abortion rate was no significant difference either (P>0.05),but the tubal pregnancy rate was lower than the control group,and the difference was statis-tically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Tubal bolt blocking technique is an effective method for hydrosalpinx pretreatment,and partly superior than gynecological surgery for keeping ovarian function and IVF-ET treatment targets.So,it has a broad application prospects in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer.

AIM To study if cholecystokinin octapeptide (CCK-8) alter cardiovascular functions by its direct inhibitory effect on carotid sinus baroreceptor (CSB) activity. METHODS The functional curve of carotid baroreceptor (FCCB) was constructed and the functional parameters of carotid baroreceptor were measured by recording sinus nerve afferent discharge in anesthetized male rats with perfused isolated carotid sinus. RESULTS ① CCK-8 0.1, 0.5 and 1.0 μmol·L-1 shifted FCCB to the right and downward, with a marked decrease in peak slope and peak integral value of carotid sinus nerve discharge in a concentration-dependent manner, indicating the inhibitory effect of CCK-8 on CSB activity. ② Pretreatment with proglumide (100 μmol·L-1), a nonselective CCK receptor antagonist, or Bay K8644 (0.5 μmol·L-1), an agonist of calcium channel, partially attenuated the inhibitory effect of CCK-8 (0.5 μmol·L-1) on CSB activity. Pretreatment with L-NAME (100 μmol·L-1), an inhibitor of NO synthase, did not affect the inhibitory action of CCK-8. CONCLUSION CCK-8 inhibits CSB activity, which may be mediated by activating CCK receptors in the carotid sinus area and thereby resulting in an inhibition of stretch-sensitive channels and decrease in Ca2+ influx.

Objective To explore the levels and clinical significance of anti-beta 2-glycoprotein 1 antibodies (β_2GP1), matrix metalloproteinase 9 (M M P-9) in the plasma of children with Kawasaki diseases (KD). Methods Serum level of anti-β_2GP1 antibody and MMP-9 was measured in 47 children with KD by ELISA, and the data was analyzed using SPSS11.5 software. Thirty age matched children with infectious diseases(sepsis or pneumonia), exclusive of heart, liver, kidney, blood diseases and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid were chosen in the fever control group. Results Coronary artery lesions (CAL)were found in 17 children of KD group (17/47) by Doppler ultrasound examination. Significant differences (P < 0.05) of serum level of anti-β_2GP1 antibody was showed between KD group ((7.46 ± 2.13) U/ml)and the control group ((4.38 ± 0.43) U/ml) ; serum level of MMP-9 was (886.62 ± 92.72) ng/ml and (460.06 ± 179.59) ng/ml in KD group and the control group respectively, with significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05). In KD group, levels of anti-β_2GP1 were (8.83 ± 0.89) U/ml among children with CAL and (6.18 ± 1.42) U/ml among children without CAL, serum level of MMP-9 was (948.62 ± 81.76) ng/ml and (872.00 ± 34.74) ug/ml respectively, with significant differences(beth P < 0.05). In children with KD, the serum levels of anti-β2GP1 antibody and MMP-9 were significantly correlated (correlation coefficient r = 0.665). Conclusions Serum levels of anti-β_2GP1 antibodies and MMP-9 increased in the acute phase of KD, and were significantly higher in those KD children with CAL.Anti-β_2GP1 antibodies and MMP-9 may play a role in the pathogenesis of KD, and can be used as an important serological indicator of KD with CAL.

Compared to the mature monitoring and reporting system of ADRs in developed countries such as the USA and EU,medical institutions in China have played too much a role.Instead,local primary monitoring and reporting system of ADRs should expand their scope of monitoring and reporting,as drug makers,chain drugstores and retailers should develop an effective ADR monitor/report system as well.At present,such a primary system is plagued by insufficient budget and staff,imbalanced urban/rural layout and defective statements.Recommended measures include enhanced surveillance for drug makers,chain drugstores and retailers,for higher reporting ratio of ADRs at primary level; greater publicity and better monitoring and penalty mechanism; better platform for various organizations.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the human body pharmacokinetics and bioequiavailability of two kinds of oral single dose of hydrochloric itraconazole capsules.METHODS:A randomized,crossover study of20healthy volunteers receiving sin-gle oral dose of200mg itraconazole was conducted with in vivo blood concentrations determined by HPLC-fluorescence de-tection.RESULTS:The pharmacokinetic parameters for the testing itraconazole and the reference itraconazole were as fol-lows,t 1/2 were(29.3?5.62)h and(29.3?5.81)h,respectively;C max were(81.4?60.0)?g/L and(77.8?45.2)?g/L,respec-tively;t max were(3.9?0.70)h and(4.2?0.70)h,respectively;AUC 0～72 were(1199.4?649.6)(?g?h)/L and(1174.3?701.9)(?g?h)/L,respectively;AUC 0～∞ were(1414.0?815.2)(?g?h)/L and(1386.1?735.8)(?g?h)/L,respectively.there were no significant differences in main pharmacokinetics parameters between2preparations,except in t max from analysis of variance and one-side&two-sides t-tests.The relative bioavailability of trial itraconazole capsule was(105.3?23.4)%.CONCLUSION:These two kinds of itraconazole capsules are bioequivalent.

Purpose To investigate the application value of diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) in differential diagnosis of common liver lipid-containing tumors.Materials and Methods Sixty patients with pathologically confirmed liver lipid-containing tumors from January 2011 to August 2015 were retrospectively analyzed,including 25 cases ofhepatocellular carcinoma (HCC),20 cases of hepatic adenoma (HA) and 15 cases of hepatic angiomyolipoma (HAML).Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value and ratio of ADCtumor/ADCliver (rADC) of tumors were respectively measured.Routine MRI findings were analyzed.Results The MRI findings of these three common liver lipid-containing tumors were with their own characteristics.For HCC,HA and HAML,the average ADC value was (1.225±0.221)×10-3 mm2/s,(1.318±0.212)×10-3 mm2/s and (1.317±0.297)×103 mm2/s,respectively,(b=800 s/mm2);the average rADC value was 1.004± 0.151,0.984 ± 0.146 and 1.027±0.223,respectively.There was no significant difference in ADC and rADC among these three tumors (P＞0.05).Conclusion ADC and rADC had no differential diagnosis value in common liver lipid-containing tumors.Routine MRI signals and enhanced imaging features are the main diagnostic basis.

A high xylanase producing strain 22 of Aspergillus clavatus was screened from 105 strains of molds and yeasts. The suitable medium consisted of (g/L): bagasse hemicellulose 30, NH_4NO_3 5, yeast extract 5, wheat bran 10, Tween 80 1 and a small quantity of other minerals; initial pH 5.5. Theoptimalsporeinoculumwas4.9X10~6spores/ml (final concentration). Theactivity of xylanase was as high as 335.9 U/ml in shake-flask experiment at 28℃ for 72 h. The optimal temperature and pH for xylanase reaction were 50℃ and pH 4.8. 72.6% of its original activity was remained after incubation at 50℃ for 1 h, and 90% of the enzym activity was observed upon storage at 8℃ for 9 days . Sugars. Na~+. Ca~(2+). and Zn~(2+) increased its activity wherease Co~(2+)and Cu~(2+) inhibited it.

Objective: To confirm the pathogenesis and diagnosis of pediatric Fisher's syndr ome.Methods: Clinical manifestations and Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) were compared and studied in 22 patients diagnosed as Fisher's syndrome.Results:Twenty- two cases of Fisher's syndrome both had the characteristics of ophthalmoplegia and cerebella ataxia,and had different degrees of incomplete fl accid paralysis in the ar ms and legs. In about half of 22 cases, the CSF showed divergence phenomenon of the protein and cell. Conclusion: Fisher's syndrome is a specific or variant type of AIP involving the cranial nerves, in which the cerebellar ataxia is taken as a main symptom and sign .

OBJECTIVE To discuss the management methods of sputum sample retained clinically based on the praxiology,and aim at improving the quality of the sputum retained. METHODS Through investigating the quality of sputum sample retained routinely from the department of internal medicine in a general hospital at the duration from Sep 2004 to Feb 2005,the intervention effect was evaluated by carrying out the measure of praxiology intervention. RESULTS The qualification rate was 23.7% for the sputum sample retained routinely from the hospital at the duration from Sep 2004 to Feb 2005,after carrying out the measure of praxiology intervention,the qualification rate was 30.1% at the duration from Apr 2005 to Aug 2005.Statistic data showed that there was no significant difference. CONCLUSIONS The quality of the sputum sample retained routinely is poor,and the measure of praxiology intervention failed to improve the quality of the sputum sample.Microscopy is the most important measure to ensure the quality of the sputum sample for the cytology test before cultivating the sample,and should be a routine test in hospital.The study on praxiology intervention will be further carried out in the future.
