OBJECTIVE:To establish and compare the HPLC characteristic Spectrum Erycibe obtusifolia from different habi-tats. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Hypersil ODS C18 with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid at flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 347 nm,the column temperature was 30℃and the sample size was 20μl. 12 different batches of samples were determined and the characteristic spectrums of those were established. TCM fingerprint evalu-ation software(2004 edition)was used to evaluate the similarity of 12 batches of samples. RESULTS:10 characteristic peaks were identified in the characteristic spectrum of E. obtusifolia. Peak 3 was scopolamine glycosides,peak 4 was chlorogenic acid and peak 6 was scopoletin. The similarities of 10 batches of samples were proved to be higher than 0.90 and 2 batches were proved to be less than 0.90. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,accurate and reproducible,and can provide scientific evidence for effectively controlling the internal quality standards.

Objective To investigate the relationship among the plasma levels of fibrinogen and the lung cancer,and its clinical significance.Methods From 2011 to 2013,121 cases newly diagnosed lung cancer patients(lung cancer group) and 37 cases healthy individuals(control group) were evaluated.The patients had no history of coagulation system disorders or anticoagulant therapy.Plasma prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT), thrombin time (TT), fibrin original (FIB), platelet (PLT) of the patients were obtained.The relationship between the plasma levels of fibrinogen and clinical characteristics, therapy modalities (surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy), therapy outcomes and survival durations of the patients were analyzed.Results (1) Serum levels of fibrinogen at stage Ⅱ A, stage Ⅱ B, stage Ⅲ A, stage Ⅲ B, stage Ⅳ were (2.001±0.813) g/L, (2.191±0.827) g/L, (3.121 ±2.016) g/L, (4.174±0.595) g/L, (4.332 ± 1.534) g/L, a significant difference was observed between the fibrinogen levels of patients with stage Ⅱ A and those with stage Ⅳ disease (P＜0.001), and there were no significant differences among other stages (P＞0.05).(2)The mean fibrinogen level was significantly higher in the patient group with ECOG performance status 2 than in the other groups(r=0.613,P＜0.05).The mean fibrinogen level was (3.780±1.731) g/L (95％CI,3.122-4.439,P＜0.001) in the group with ECOG 0, (4.182 ± 1.661) g/L(95％CI 3.583-4.781 ,P＜0.001) in the group with ECOG 1 ,and (4.725±2.153) g/L(95％CI,4.007-5.443,P＜0.001) in the group with ECOG 2.(3) The treatment responses of 81 patients who received chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy without surgical intervention were evaluated, serum levels of fibrinogen in 39 patients with partial remission (PR) were (4.005 ±1.177) g,/L,42 patients with stable disease(SD) were (3.192±0.479) g/L, 17 patients with progressive disease(PD) were (7.530± 1.885) g/L,fibrinogen levels were found to be significantly higher in cases with progression,and the difference was significant(P =0.015).(4)Correlation analysis on fibrinogen and chnical indicator: clinical stage (r =0.529, P =0.008), ECOG score (r =0.273, P =0.031), therapy response (r =0.529, P=0.012) were positively correlated with fibrinogen levels.(5)Fibrinogen levels in patients with lung cancer were higher than those of the control group ((2.891 ± 0.484) g/L vs.(3.586± 1.692) g/L, t =-4.620, P ＜0.05), and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.01).(6)The survival duration was significantly longer in patients with lower fibrinogen levels(321 d vs.435 d,P＜0.05).The mean fibrinogen concentration in patients who were still alive at the end of a 2-year follow-up was (3.531 ± 1.482) g/L, whereas the meanfibrinogen level of patients who died was (3.725± 2.063) g/L, and the difference between the two groups was significant(P =0.015).Conclusion The results suggest that Fibrinogen plasma levels might be useful to predict the clinical outcome and survival of patients with lung cancer.

AIM　Five Isoflavonoid glycosides were isolated from the pericarps of Sophora japonica L. and their structures were elucidated by chemical and spectral method as genistein 7,4′-di-O-β-D-glucoside(Ⅰ), sophorabio-side(Ⅱ), prunetin 4′-O-β-D-glucoside(Ⅲ), sophororicoside(Ⅳ) and genistin(Ⅴ). Among them, compounds Ⅰ, Ⅲ and Ⅴ were isolated from in S. japonica for the first time.

Objective:To establish a determination method of Bergenin content in Dicha Kechuan oral liquid by HPLC.Methods:The separation was performed on SHIMADZU VP-ODS C18 column(150mm?4.6mm,5?m),the mobile phase was carbinol-water(20:80) with a flow rate of 1.0ml/min.The column temperature was room temperature and the detection wavelength was 275nm.Results:The linear range of Bergenin was 0.2575-5.150?g,the regression equation of working curve was Y=812702.2X-80626.3,r=0.9998,the average recovery was 101.4% and RSD 1.67%(n=5).Conclusion:This method is simple,reproducible,and can be used for quality control of Dicha Kechuan Oral Liquid and the semifinished product.

[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVETo investigate the expressions of Endoglin (CD105) and Galectin-3 protein in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) as well as the relationship between their expressions and the clinicopathological factors of LSCC.METHODSThe expressions of CD105 and Galectin-3 protein were detected in 76 samples of LSCC and 25 normal laryngeal tissues (NLT) by immunohistochemical staining (S-P).RESULTS 1.The mean of Microvessel density (MVD) value marked by CD105 in LSCC was 10.33±2.29, which was significantly higher than that in NLT (1.20±1.04) (P<0.05). The expression of MVD marked by CD105 (CD105-MVD) was correlated with histological grading, T stage, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, recurrence and prognosis in LSCC (P<0.05). 2.The positive expression rate of Galectin-3 protein in LSCC was 86.84%, which was significantly higher than that in NLT (36%)(P<0.05). The expression of Galectin-3 was correlated with T stage,clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, recurrence and prognosis in LSCC (P<0.05). 3.There was a positive correlation between CD105 and Galectin-3 protein. 4.Survival analysis indicated that the expressions of CD105 and Galectin-3, histological grading, lymph node metastasis,T stage and recurrence were independent factors for tumor prognosis in LSCC (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONThe expressions of CD105 and Galectin-3 protein have a positive correlation in LSCC. They may play important roles in the tumorigenesis, malignant progression and poor prognosis of LSCC. Combined detection of them may be great value in diagnosis and predicting prognosis of LSCC.

Objective To explore the efficacy of ketogenic diet( KD) in the treatment of status epi-lepticus( SE) and whether KD could protect the brain,and propose a new thought on SE patients′reasonably individualized treatment, brain protection and prognosis improvement. Methods From Sep 2013 to Jan 2015,all the patients diagnosed as SE were advised to apply KD treatment; the patients who refused KD treatment were included in the control group,while the patients who accepted KD treatment were included in the treatment group. Based on the SE treatment principles,the control group applied traditional anti-convulsive therapy,while the treatment group applied traditional therapy combined with KD treatment. Before the treat-ment and after the epilepsy control,the patients′ serum was collected to test neuron specific enolase( NSE) and S100βlevels,and the duration of epilepsy control was recorded. Results The treatment group included a total of 10 patients; 3 patients had a good efficacy and obtained seizure-free after the treatment; clinical seizures declined significantly in 6 patients. The treatment group′s overall response rate was 9/10,which was higher than that of the control group(5/8)(P<0. 01). The treatment group′s duration to gain efficacy was shorter than that of the control group[(5. 2 ± 2. 9) d vs. (9. 8 ± 1. 5) d,P<0. 01]. After the treatment,the patients′NSE and S100β in both groups were significantly decreased than those before the treatment ( P<0. 001 or P<0. 05). After the treatment,the serum NSE and S100β of the patients in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0. 05). Conclusion Frequent epileptic seizures and SE would impair the patient′s brain. Controlling the epileptic seizures actively could lower the severity of brain injury. KD could effectively control the epileptic seizure and had neuropro-tective effects.

In China, the treatment of AIDS With Chinese herbal medicine compound has been widely studied and practiced. Clinical Studies showed that the treatment of AIDS with Chinese medicine can significantly relieve AIDS patients' clinical symptoms, improve life quality with rising immunity and alleviate toxic and side effects in antiviral drug. This study took 28 Clinical Studies on the treatment of AIDS with Chinese herbal medicine compound published in Chinese periodicals as the research object, and designed Tree Analysis Algorithm was used to analyze prescription compatibility in the treatment of AIDS with Chinese herbal medicine compound. Results of data analysis revealed that clinical therapy on AIDS could be classified into three types: predominent de-toxication, predominent supplementing Qi, and simultaneous de-toxication and supplementing Qi due to different understanding the pathogenesis of excessive evil and deficient essence-qi. But in practical medication, there has not formed a reasonable and effective combination or basic prescription up to now, except that Astragalus was wildly used.

Objective To investigate the expressions of endoglin (CD105),erythropoietinproducing hepatocyte receptor A2 (EphA2) and its ligand ephrinA1 proteins in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) and the relationship between their expressions and the clinicopathological factors of LSCC.Methods The expressions of CD105,EphA2 and EphrinA1 proteins were detected with immunohistochemical staining in LSCC in 76 cases and adjacent normal laryngeal tissues (ANLT) (S-P) in 25 cases.SPSS 17.0 software was used to analyze the data.Results The mean microvessel density (MVD) value marked by CD105 staining in LSCC was 10.33 ± 2.29,which was significantly higher than that in ANLT(1.20 ± 1.04,t =18.732,P ＜ 0.05).The CD105-MVD was correlated with T stage,histological grading,clinical stage,lymph node metastasis,recurrence and prognosis in LSCC (F value was 5.34,4.79,5.36,t value was-2.70,2.56,all P ＜ 0.05).The positive expression rates of EphA2 and EphrinA1 in LSCC were 78.95％ (60/76),and 81.85％ (62/76),which were respectively significantly higher than 40％ (10/25) for EphA2 expression and 44％ (11/25) for EphrinA1,expression in ANLT (x2 value was 13.41,13.26,both P ＜ 0.05).EphA2 expression was correlated with histological grading,T stage,clinical stage,lymph node metastasis,recurrence and prognosis in LSCC (x2 value was 6.25,14.60,15.11,8.52,5.54,all P ＜ 0.05).EphrinA1 expression was correlated with T stage,clinical stage,lymph node metastasis,recurrence and prognosis in LSCC (x2 value was 6.44,12.28,16.78,6.44,all P ＜ 0.05).The expressions of CD105,EphA2 and EphrinA1 were positively correlated with each other r value was 0.72,0.74,0.64,all P ＜ 0.05.Survival analysis indicated that the expressions of CD105 and EphA2,histological grading,lymph node metastasis,clinical stage and recurrence were independent factors for tumor prognosis in LSCC (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The expressions of CD105,EphA2 and EphrinA1 protein were positively correlated with each other in LSCC.They may play important roles in the tumorigenesis,malignant progression and poor prognosis of LSCC.

Objective To investigate the status of health promotion,influencing factors,and health promotion level of cancer patients with PICC during tube indwelling period.Methods A total of 125 PICC cancer patients were investigated by using general information questionnaire and Health Promoting Lifestyle Scale (HPLP-Ⅱ R) according to convenience sampling.Results The average score of health promotion lifestyle in cancer patients was(100.70 ± 18.42)scores during PICC,and the overall level was at the middle level.There was a negative correlation between health promotion behavior and age in cancer patients during PICC detention (P ＜ 0.01),and positively correlated with education,family income and catheterization days (P ＜ 0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that age,education level,diagnosis and catheterization days were influencing factor of health promotion behavior level of cancer patients during PICC indwelling.Conclusion The health promotion behavior of cancer patients during PICC stay is in general level.In clinical nursing work,these patients with elder age,low education level and short timne of catheterization should be paid much attention,so as to improve their health promoting behavior.
