Cisplatin has good effects in the treatment of a variety of solid cancers.Studies have shown that cisplatin can make great contributions in treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma through DNA,telomeres,cell cycle,apoptosis,apoptotic volume decrease,cell senescence,NK cells and other channels.

Objective To explore the effict of Jiegu-Qili tablet combined with intramedullary interlocking nails in the treatment of the fracture of tibia and fibula. Methods A total of 80 patients with fracture of tibia and fibula were selected, and were divided into two groups according to odd and even number of hospitalization. The surgery group (39 patients) was given intramedullary interlocking nails, the surgery and drug group (41 patients) was given Jiegu-Qili tablet combined with intramedullary interlocking nails. The perioperative parameters, the rate of fracture healing, knee scores and complications were evaluated during 12 months. Results The hospitalization (14.43 ± 2.47 d vs. 21.63 ± 3.16 d, t=11.385, P<0.01) and fracture healing time (5.22 ± 1.05 m vs. 9.75 ± 0.97 m, t=20.016, P<0.05) of the surgery and drug group was shorter than that of the surgery group. The fracture healing rate of surgery and drug group (92.7%vs. 76.9%,χ2=3.894, P<0.05) was higher than that of the surgery group. After 6 months surgery, the pain, activity, stability and KSS scores (21.60 ± 1.60 vs. 19.50 ± 1.90, 22.7 ± 2.8 vs.18.70 ± 2.40, 23.50 ± 2.40 vs. 19.40 ± 1.80, 89.20 ± 9.30 vs. 78.00 ± 8.30) of the surgery and drug group were higher than that of the surgery group (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance on walking ability between two groups (21.40 ± 2.50 vs. 20.40 ± 2.20, P>0.05). During 12 months follow-up, there were no statistical significance on complications between two group (7.3%vs.15.4%,χ2=1.303, P>0.05). Conclusions In summary, the Jiegu-Qili tablet combined with intramedullary interlocking nails had a good therapeutic effect on the fracture of tibia and fibula. It could increase the speed of fracture healing, shorten the hospitalization, reduce the postoperative pain and improve the activity of patients.

BACKGROUND: Chinese character is the only non-alphabetic system of writing, the patterns of semantic symbol, phonetic symbol and sign in the cognition of Chinese characters, it is the combination of form, sound and meaning, and its cognitive pattern, pathway, analytical judgement of semantic and storage are different from those of western alphabetic system of writing, and the processing of Chinese characters maydifferent from that of alphabetic system of writing.OBJECTIVE: To localize the motor language center of the healthy volunteers whose native language is Chinese by means of the equivalent current dipole (ECD) and synthetic aperture magnetometry (SAM) of magnetoen cephalography (MEG).DESIGN: A single-sample univariate analysis.SETTING: Department of Neurology, Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital University of Medical Sciences.PARTICIPANTS: Ten healthy volunteers whose native language is Chinese were selected from the postgraduates and training participants in the Department of Neurology, Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital University of Medical Sciences between July 2003 and April 2005, they were all right handedness and had no speech disorders and cognitive impairments, and all accepted training of language task.METHODS: All the healthy subjects were given the language task stimulation of reading words and pseudowords silently, the number of the silently read nouns, appearing time for each noun and the interval between two tasks were strictly matched, ① Words were the common high-frequency characters, accorded to the law of Chinese characters components, and had 4-13 strokes. ② Pseudowords, composed by Chinese characters made-up software, accorded to the made-up law of Chinese character, but could not compose the stroke assemble of the character, and had 4-13 strokes. The evoked magnetic field produced after the stimulation was recorded with MEG, the collected data were overlapped with MRI to obtain the localization of language functional areas.RESULTS: All the 10 volunteers finished the test and entered the analysis of results. Both words and pseudowords evoked obvious late magnetic reaction waves in bilateral cerebral hemispheres, the motor language centers both located at posterior inferior frontal gyrus.CONCLUSION: The motor and classic motor language centers are general concordant in the normal people whose native language is Chinese, that was to say, the motor language center localizes at posterior inferior frontal gyrus of normal people whose native language is Chinese.

We describe a modified technique for the in vitro study of human spermatozoal penetration into hamster oocytes which is easier to master and more simple to perform and needs no complicated facilities.It comprises the following aspects:1 The hamster oviduct is stained with 1％ neutral red agar slics, so that the opening of the oviduct is easy to find and easy to be inserted with needle for flushing eggs.2. A special small tube,3 cm long with a diameter of 0.5 cm is used for fertilization instead of plastic dish with paraffin oil covering the media.3. Ordinary incubator is used rather than CO_2 incubator. With these procedures, the sperm penetration rates we got were 75％, 25％, 40％, 80％ and 46％ respectively in 5 experiments. It could meet the needs to evaluate the fertilizing capacity of human spermatozoa.

Objective To explore the posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) symptoms, coping styles and security sense of witnessed college students. Methods A cross-sectional survey was carried out among 800 freshmen and sophomores students from a medical university in Guangzhou. The participants were asked to fill posttraumatic stress disorder self-rating scale (PTSD-SS) ,simplified coping style questionnaire(SCSQ) and security questionnaire(SQ). Results 155 college students had witnessed injury and the ratio was 20.5% ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Compared to the students who hadn't witnessed experience, the witnessed college students had less security( 50.78± 5.63 vs 52.01 ± 5.19 ), less active coping styles ( 34.94 ± 5.42 vs 35.88 ± 5.45 ) and less sense of control (25.07 ±4.25 vs 26.11 ±3.71 ) ,and they had got a higher score in PTSD symptoms and negative coping styles.Apart from the interpersonal sense of security,the other differences were significant between the two groups ( P＜0.05 ); the scores of PTSD symptoms had significant correlation with the total and subscales of coping styles and sense of control (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusion The witnessed college students have severer PTSD symptoms and less security,and tend to take negative coping styles.

Objective:To analyze the expression of E-cadherin in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) induced by transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) in neuroblastoma.Methods:TGF-β1(1 μg/L, 5 μg/L, 10 μg/L), was applied to SK-N-SH cells in vitro compared with the blank control group.EMT-related genes mRNA and protein expression were detected by carrying out real-time PCR assays and Western blot.A scratch test and migration assay were performed to verify the alteration of SK-N-SH cell migration capacity.Data collected from 18 cases of neuroblastoma patients were selected from the Department of Hematology Oncology, Shanghai Children′s Hospital from January 2008 to December 2012.The expression of E-cadherin in the tumor tissue of the neuroblastoma patients after operation was detected by immunohistochemistry.The clinical features and survival prognosis of these patients were analyzed. Results:Compared with the control group, after SK-N-SH cells were treated with TGF-β1(1 μg/L, 5 μg/L, 10 μg/L), real-time PCR assays and Western blot revealed that the mRNA(0.603±0.081, 0.606±0.008, 0.716±0.166 vs.1.000) and protein expression levels(0.855±0.026, 0.600±0.017, 0.495±0.011 vs.1.000) of E-cadherin were significantly decreased ( F=8.144, P=0.040; F=74.810, P<0.001), while the mRNA(2.132±0.167, 3.494±0.017, 4.184±0.021 vs.1.000) and protein expression levels (1.175±0.053, 1.189±0.058, 1.225±0.106 vs.1.000)of α - smooth muscle actin were significantly increased ( F=547.300, P<0.001; F=68.810, P=0.007), suggesting that EMT changes occur in cells.Scratch test and Transwell migration assay revealed that the number of migrating cells increased obvious with the treatment of TGF-β1 (5 μg/L) ( t=16.070, P=0.040). The 10-year overall survival(OS) rates of neuroblastoma patients with E-cadherin strong positive expression, positive expression, weak positive expression and negative expression in the pathology were (77.78±13.86)%, (75.00±21.66)%, (25.00±21.65)% and 0, respectively ( F=8.160, P=0.040). Conclusions:TGF-β1 can induce the EMT in SK-N-SH cells and increase cell migration.The decrease expression of E-cadherin in neuroblastoma patients is closely associated with clinical progress and recurrence or metastasis of the disease.

Objective To explore the moderating or mediating effects of life-meaning between optimism and suicide risk in undergraduates.Methods A total of 1310 college students from one Chinese university completed a survey that included Suicidal Behaviors Questionnaire-Revised (SBQ-R),the Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) and the Chinese meaning in life questionnaire (C-MLQ).Results The total scores of SBQ-R,LOT-R and C-MLQ of undergraduate were (5.04 ± 2.28),(11.22 ± 2.07) and (37.22 ± 5.22),respectively.Optimism had significant negative correlation with suicide risk (r =-0.22,P ＜ 0.01),and positive correlation with life-meaning (r=0.28,P＜0.01).Life-meaning had significant negative correlation with suicide risk (r=-0.18,P＜0.01).The life-meaning's moderating effects between optimism and suicide risk were not significant(P ＞ 0.05),while the relationship between optimism and suicide risk was mediated by life-meaning,and the mediating effect was 0.07,which accounted for 17％ of the total effects.Conclusion Life-meaning doesnt morderating effect,but partially mediates the relationship between optimism and suicide risk.

Objective To investigate the clinical features of polymyositis and dermatomyositis ( PM/DM) with lym-phoma .Methods The clinical data , treatment and prognosis of PM/DM with lymphoma from 2000 to 2015 in Pe-king Union Medical College Hospital were retrospectively collected and analyzed .Results Ten cases of PM/DM patients complicated with lymphoma were recruited .6 were female and 4 was male.The mean ages of the diagnosis of PM/DM and lymphoma were 44.5 and 44.9 years old respectively .The average disease course from PM/DM to lymphoma was 4.7months.Six cases were dermatomyositis and 4 cases were polymyositis.Three cases had pulmo-nary fibrosis and 2 cases had arthritis .No case had a positive result of anti-Jo-1 antibody .The most frequent symp-toms complicated with lymphoma included as following:enlargement of lymph nodes (9 cases), fever (8 cases), splenomegaly(5 cases).The top 3 lymphoma biopsy specimen included lymph node (4 cases), skin(2 cases)and local mass(2 cases).All the 10 patients were diagnosed as non-Hodgkin lymphoma.4 cases were derived from T cell, 2 cases from B cell, and 4 cases with unknown origin .The clinical staging showed III B (4 cases) and IV B (6 cases).Immunosuppressant agents were given to treat PM/DM.During the follow-up period, 5 patients died, 4 patients received chemotherapy and 1 patient was lost .Conclusions The coincidence of PM/DM and lymphoma is not rare .The course between PM/DM and lymphoma is short , and the mortality is significant , which should arise the attention of clinicians .

Objective To evaluate the calculation and report of detection index and the statistics analysis of group comparison in high risk group,a problem of medical science study.Methods Relevant literature was consulted so that the methods could be listed of the detection index and the current statistic analysis of group comparison in high risk group.Results The current report about detection ratio and the statistics analysis of group comparison in high risk group proved to be mistaken,and the statistics analysis of group comparison was not the comparison of detection ratios in high risk group.Conclusions It is necessary to calculate and report the detection ratio when expressing the detection index.The statistics difference should be tested about constituent ratio in the group comparison,after excluding patient group.At the same time,some explanation should be given by the author in the composition.

Objective: To compere OQL of recruits of armed police in south area fore-and-aft the basic military training.Methods: The WHOQOL-BREF Scale was used to investigate 539 recruits before the training and at the end of the 3rd month of the basic military training.Results: The score of physiological,psychological,social,and environmental domain of the OQL of recruits before the basic military training were68.90?13.36,65.65?14.28,67.16?16.71,61.06?14.23,The score of physiological,psychological,social,and environmental domain of the OQL of recruits before the basic military training were 71.52?12.16,70.34?14.78,74.10?22.00,66.07?14.36,the differences were salient.Conclution:The Basic Military Training can improve the OQL of recruits of armed police in south area.The improvement are bear on the education of adapting and improved training.
