The protection of ginseno-side (GNS ) isolated from leaves and stems on cultured cell from virus were observed. The results showed that GNS, especially the Rb1 monomer could suppress replication of virus such as HSV -Ⅰ , HSV-Ⅱ ,ADV- Ⅲ and VSV, and protect the cultured cells from virus infec-tion. A cream containing GNS was used in the treatment of herpes lebialis infected by HSV- I and 27 of 31 (87. 1%) cases were cured.

Objective To investigate the present situation and to analyze related factors of nursing practice environment among 22 public hospitals in Shanghai area.Methods We investigated 1 600 nurses from the 22 hospitals with general information questionnaire and the Chinese version of Practice Environment Scale,and also analyzed related factors by single and multiple factor analysis.Results 1 582questionnaires were taken back.49％ were dissatisfied with their working environment,and 28.1％ were evaluated to have nice practice conditions.Nurse concerned with workforce management and adequate resources were widespread.Logistic analysis indicated that hospital's level,the nurse's age,educational background and seniority were main factors influencing nurses' satisfaction.Nurse work in tertiary hospitals reported lower satisfaction.Conclusions More attention should be paid on improving nursing practice environment.

Background Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) for myopia will change corneal asphericity and further affect the quality of vision.However,how operating parameters such as ablation depth and optic zone diameter affect corneal asphericity is still rarely reported.Objective Aim of this study was to investigate the influence of corneal ablation depth and optic zone diameter on corneal asphericity after LASIK for myopia.Methods This prospective study comprised 175 eyes of 89 patients with the spherical equivalent of (-5.93± 1.98)D and the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) ≥ 1.0.The flap creation with the femtosecond laser combine iris recognize guided LASIK was performed on the patients who were available for the evaluation at postoperative 6 months.Corneal aspherical index (Q value) at the central corneal 6.0 mm were measured with Orbscan IIz-corneal topography before and 6 months after operation.Corneal ablation depth and optic zone diameter were recorded in operation.The changes of visual acuity and spherical equivalent before and after surgery were compared by self-control method,and the correlations between corneal ablation depth or optic zone diameter with alteration of Q value (AQ) after LASIK were assessed using multiple regression analysis.Results The mean spherical power,cylinder diopter and spherical equivalent were (-5.57 ± 1.89) D,(-0.71 ±0.55) D and (-5.93 ± 1.98) D before surgery,and those after surgery were (-0.25 ±0.30),(-0.14±0.22)D and (-0.32±0.37)D,showing significant differences between before and 6 months after LASIK (t=-32.39,-23.91,-35.18,all at P＜0.01).The Q values at the central corneal 6.0 mm were -0.13 ± 0.09 (-0.47-0.08) in preoperation and 1.09 ± 0.54 (0.22-2.51) in postoperation,with a significant increase in postoperation (t=29.37,P＜0.01).Corneal ablation depth was (95±28) μm and optic zone diameter was (6.32±0.26)mm.Ablation depth appeared to be positive correlation with AQ (β =0.803),and optic zone diameter showed a negative correlation with AQ (β =-0.149),with a multiple regression formula AQ =1.517+0.015×ablation depth-0.3 ×optic zone diameter.Conclusions LASIK for myopia increase corneal Q value.The increase of corneal ablation depth and decrease of optic zone diameter contribute to enlargement of corneal Q value.

Objective To systematially observe the different patterns and leves of military stress on modified multitle-platform method the level of stress-related hormones in rats .Methods A sleep deprivation model was established by water environment modified multiple-platform method(MMPM).A restraint stress model was established by self-made bondage cage.Chronic unpredictable mild stress ( CUMS) model was established by action control , cage damp, cage tilt, night lightening, water and food fasting , empty bottles stimulation and group feeding methods .Cortisol, catecholamines and 5-HT levels were detected to observe the different military stress loads and modes on the level of stress hormones .Results The level of serum cortisol increased significantly ( P <0.05 ) after 5 days of sleep deprivation .The level of serum catecholamines increased significantly (P<0.05) after 1 day of sleep deprivation.The cortisol concentration increased and the level of 5-HT decreased in serum after 4 weeks CUMS.The level of catecholamines increased significantly (P<0.05) after 2-8 weeks of CUMS, increased significantly (P<0.05) after 1 week of restraint stress , and returned to normal after 3-4 weeks of restraint stress .The level of serum cortisol increased significantly after 3 -4 weeks of restraint stress . Conclusion Cortisol levels gradually increased with the level of stress in different military stress modes , which can serve as an index to evaluate the level of different stress modes .

Background and purpose:The aim of this study was to analyze the prognostic factors in uterine adenocarcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma treated with a combination of neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and surgery.Methods:Clinicopathologic data from 50 patients with stageⅠB2-ⅡA2 uterine cervical cancer were collected from the First Afifliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College between Apr. 2005 and Oct. 2011. All patients underwent neoajuvant chemoradiotherapy, followed by radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection. Before surgery, an intravenous chemotherapy was given. A particular vaginal brachytherapy was given to those with tumor diameter≥6 cm. The survival and recurrence in patients were analyzed retrospectively to investigate the prognostic factors. Results:In 50 patients withⅠB2-ⅡA2 uterine adenocarcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma, 15 died during the follow-up period. The 2-year and 5-year progression-free survival rates were 80.12% and 72.24%, respectively, and median progression-free survival was 68 months. The 2-year and 5-year overall survival rates were 95.38% and 73.56%, respectively, and median overall survival was 80 months. Univariate analysis revealed that pelvic lymph node metastasis, cervical stromal invasion, parametrial infiltration, tumor diameter reduction <3 cm and advanced stage were the prognostic factors in patients with cervical cancer (P<0.05). Age, postoperative radiochemotherapy, lymphatic clearance involvement, FIGO stage, preservation of ovary and pathologic type were not associated with prognosis (P>0.05). Multivariate Cox proportional analysis revealed that pelvic lymph node metastasis and tumor diameter reduction after radiation and chemotherapy were the independent prognostic factors in patients with cervical cancer. Conclusion:The combination of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and surgery improves the resectable rate of patients withⅠB2-ⅡA2 uterine adenocarcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma. Pelvic lymph node metastasis and tumor diameter reduction after radiation and chemotherapy are the independent prognostic factors in patients with cervical cancer.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of cystitis glandularis by TUR. Methods The clinical data of 40 patients with cystitis glandularis who were treated with TUR, transurethal plasma kinetic resection or postoperative mitomycin instillation of bladder in our hospital from January 2003 to December 2006 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Vesical perforation occurred in 2 patients,and the complications of urinary incontinence and vesical neck constriction were not observed postoperatively. 37 patients were followed up for an average of 1.8years, 32 patients were cured ,3 patients turned better, 2 patients reoccurred, and no cancer was observed. Conclusion The transurethra resection combined with mitomycin irrigation of bladder has satisfactory therapeutic effects on cystitis glandularis,and there are fewer adverse reaction and can be taken as the primary choice for treating cystitis glandularis.

Objective:To investigate the effect of different postoperative nutritional support on the gastrointestinal function and nutritional status in acute colon peforation patients.Methods:60 cases of acute emergency operation patients with perforation of the colon,according to the given nutritional support treatment of the different ways,were divided into enteral parenteral joint nutrition (EN + PN) group and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) group.Clinical therapeutic effects of two groups were compared.Results:The results of EN + PN group were significantly better than the those in TPN group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:EN + PN model can improve the postoperative nutritional status and accelerate the recovery of patients with acute colonic perforation.

AIM: To study the preventive effects of Keningfang decoction on the experimental influenza virus pneumonia in mice and its mechanism. METHODS: Fifty NIH mice were divided into five groups randomly (ten mice in each group), normal control group, model group, virazole treatment group, Keningfang I treatment group, Keningfang II treatment group. The FM 1 virus strain that kept in frozen condition were revived and cultured in chick embryo. The mice in every group that were lightly anesthetized by aether, and infected by dropping FM 1 15 LD 50 into the nose, except for the normal control group, by equal volume distilled water. Mice were treated with drugs or distilled water two days before the model was made (0 3 mL, 2 times a day). The mice were treated with drug for six days, then was killed, the lungs were collected, and kept in -70 ℃. HSP70 was measured in the lung tissue by Western blot. Objective To study the ages at natural menopause of the women in Jilin Province, and to illustrate its influencing factors among the women in Jilin Province.Methods Through multistage stratified cluster random sampling method,23 050 people aged from 18 to 79 years were drew from nine states(a total of 32 areas)of Jilin province.The data of these residents were collected with the questionnaire and physical examinations by face-to-face interview.The number of selected female sample was 11 098. Finally, 4 881 postmenopausal women were selected.Complex weighted computation was used to estimate the ages at natural menopause.One-way ANOVA was used to compare the ages at natural menopause of the women with different birth years. Multiple linear regression analysis were used to examine the influencing factors of the ages at natural menopause. Results The mean and median ages at natural menopause were (49.11±4.19)years and 50.00 years,respectively.There were 4 881 cases of postmenopausal women,among them the women with age at natural menopause<40 years,40 year≤age at natural menopause≤45 years,46 years≤ age at natural menopause≤53 years,age at natural menopause≥54 years and age at natural menopause missing accounted for 2.27%(111 cases),13.17%(643 cases),71.97%(3 513 cases),11.74% (573 cases),and 0.85%(41 cases),respectively.Converted to birth years by age,70-79 years old was 1933-1942 birth years,60-69 years old was 1943-1952 birth years and 57-59 years old was 1953-1955 birth years.The age at natural menopause in Jilin province was statistically significant among the women with different birth years(F=21.178,P<0.001).By SNK-q test among three different birth year groups, the age at natural menopause was different between any two groups among three different birth year groups and the ages at natural menopause of 1953-1955 birth year group,1943-1952 birth year group and 1943-1952 birth year group were 50.38 years,49.51 years and 48.81 years.The age at natural menopause in urban of Jilin province was statistically significant among the women with different birth years(F=16.633,P<0.001).By SNK-q test among three different birth year groups,the age at natural menopause was different between any two groups among three different birth year groups and the ages at natural menopause of 1953-1955 birth year group,1943-1952 birth year group and 1943-1952 birth year group were 50.77 years,49.73 years,and 48.85 years,respectively.The age at natural menopause in rural of Jilin province was statistically significant among the women with different birth years(F=7.400,P=0.001 ). By SNK-q test among three different birth year groups, the age at natural menopause was different between 1953-1955 birth year group and the other two groups and the ages at natural menopause of 1953-1955 birth year group,1943-1952 birth year group and 1943-1952 birth year group were 50.09 years,49.33 years,and 48.74 years,respectively.The multiple linear regression results indicated that BMI and exercise were positively correlated with the age at natural menopause,but smoking and mental health evaluation were negatively.Consumption frequency of vegetables,fruits,bean products,and meat was no correlated with the age at natural menopause.Conclusion The differences of the ages at natural menopause between the women with different birth years are statistically significant in Jilin Province;BMI, smoking, exercise,and mental health are the influencing factors of the age at natural menopause.
