OBJECTIVETo obtain 20(S)-ginsenoside Rh1 by the method of enzymolysis with the protopananxtriol saponins, and to provide the theory for large-scale preparation of 20(S)-ginsenoside Rh1.
METHODAB-8 macroporous resin was used to isolate the total saponins of the stems and leaves from Panax ginseng and the protopanaxtriol saponins (mainly included Rg1 and Re) were obtained. Then, we used enzymic hydrolysis (helicase) with the protopanaxtriol saponins to get the secondary ginsenoside 20(S)-Rh1. High performance liquid chromatography analysis method was established to determine the conversion with the YMC C18 column at the 25 degrees C. The flow rate was 1 mL x min(-1) and detective wavelength was 203 nm. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile(A)-water(B) was eluted by the way of 0-29 min,19%-26% A, 29-30 min, 26%-30% A, 30-55 min, 30%-38% A, 55-60 min, 38%-40% A.
RESULTHighly purified protopanaxtriol saponins were obtained through AB-8 macroporous resin. The average conversion was 36.7%. The method was simple and stable.
CONCLUSIONThe method is able to obtain secondary ginsenoside 20 (S)-Rh1 with high efficiency. This study develop the preparation resource for the ginsenoside 20(S)-Rh1.

AIM:To clarify the relationship between serum copper/zinc ratio(CZR) and histopathological classification as well as prognosis of Hodgkin's disease (HD). METHODS:The serum copper level(SCL),serum zinc level(SZL)and CZR were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry(AAS)in 135 patients with HD and 100 healthy individuals.RESULTS:The results showed that SCL and CZR were higher and SZL was lower in patients with HD than in healthy individuals (P<0.01). SCL and CZR were significantly higher in the patients with lymphocyte depleted type(LD)than mixed cellulal type(MC), SCL and CZR were higher in MC type than nodular sclerosis type(NS)and lymphocyte predominance type (LP)(P<0.01). It was also found that with the development of the disease, the SCL and CZR elevated but SZL dropped. And with the alleviation of the disease, the SCL and CZR rose while SZL dropped. While the illness is relieved and the SCL and CZR markedly dropped and SCZ rose. SCL and CZR were strongly correlated with histopathologic type and clinical stage of tumor.CONCLUSION:SCL, SZL and CZR are parameters useful for clarifying histopathological classification, clinical stage and prognosis of HD.

OBJECTIVETo prepare cinnamic acid derivatives-g-CTS and to study its antioxidation activity.
METHODThe ability of catching oxygen of the products and raw material were determined through two methods, Marklund method and trace pyrogallic acid method, with autoxidation reaction of pyrogallol as the oxygen anion source.
RESULTThe antioxidation activities of all products were better than the raw material.
CONCLUSIONCinnamic acid derivatives-g-CTS is suitable as the O2-* -capture agent.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of single-session plasmapheresis therapy alone for the treatment of toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN),and to investigate its adverse reactions. Methods Patients with TEN receiving single-session plasmapheresis therapy alone were collected from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University between September 2010 and December 2017.Clinical data on the disease severity, clinical efficacy, hospitalization duration and adverse reactions were analyzed. Results A total of 17 patients with TEN were enrolled into this study, including 9 males and 8 female, with an average age of 36.1 ± 25.4 years.Their initial SCORTEN and STENS scores were 2.1 ± 1.24 and 29.9 ± 6.6 respectively. After treatment, the STENS score decreased to 3.5 ± 1.8.Of the 17 patients,15 were cured after single-session plasmapheresis therapy,1 showed response to the treatment, and 1 died. The duration of intensive care unit stay was 6.4 ± 1.8 days, and the total hospitalization duration was 12.1 ± 5.7 days. There was no significant difference in the STENS score among the day 1,4,7,10 and 20 after hospital admission (F =18.569,P < 0.05).No severe adverse reactions were observed, except 2 cases of plasma allergy. Conclusion Single-session plasmapheresis therapy alone is effective for the treatment of TEN without obvious adverse reactions.
