1.Progress of study on the KAI1 gene in gynecological tumor
Cancer Research and Clinic 2010;22(z1):64-66
KAI1 is a recently identified metastasis suppressor gene located at human chromosome 11 p11.2. KAI1 protein is a member of the structurally distinct family of cell surface glycoprotein and belongs to transmembrane 4 protein superfamily. KAI1 expression is down-regulated in many metastatic tumor cells. Down-regulation of KAI1 expression also plays an important role in the genesis and development of gynecological tumor.

Results The results of 6 min walking experiments (543.5 ±69.3) vs (492.7 ± 72.7),left ventricular ejection fraction (44.3 ± 8.6) vs (49.8 ± 9.5) and C-reactive protein content (5.2 ± 0.7) vs (8.9 ± 1.1) in observation group were better than control group. Conclusion Additional Trimetazidine could improve cardiac function by improving cardiacenergy metabolism and anti-inflammatory effect on alcohol cardiomyopathy patients ,Trimetazidine was of great value to generalization.
4.Gradual Community-based Rehabilitation for Schizophrenia in Changping Countryside: A Comparative Study
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(9):885-886
Objective To explore the effect of gradual community-based rehabilitation on schizophrenia in the countryside. Methods 60 rural patients with schizophrenias were randomly sampled and divided into two groups: the rehabilitation group and the control group. The patients in the rehabilitation group were intervened with comprehensive rehabilitation by specialist, while those in the control group were intervened with follow-up survey. They were assessed with the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS), Scale for Assessment of Negative Symptoms (SANS) and Social Disability Screening Schedule (SDSS) before and 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 20 months after the rehabilitation. Results The differences in scores of BPRS, SDSS and SANS were more significant with the time of rehabilitation. Conclusion The outcome of the community-based rehabilitation for schizophrenias may associate with the persistence in the countryside.
5.Rehabilitation Training on Family Caregiver of Schizophrenic in Rural Areas
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(12):1192-1194
ObjectiveTo observe the effect of rehabilitation training on family caregiver of schizophrenic in rural areas.Methods60 schizophrenic patients in rural area were divided into rehabilitation group and control group. The rehabilitation group and their caregivers received training of family rehabilitation for 12 months. The caregivers in the control group only received interview. Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) and Social Disability Screening Schedule(SDSS) were used to assess the patients before, 6 months and 12 months after training. The self-made caregiver questionnaire was to assess mental knowledge and family harmony of the caregivers.ResultsPsychiatric knowledge and family harmony for caregivers significantly changed in the rehabilitation group after the family rehabilitation training. There were significant differences in the BPRS and SDSS score between the rehabilitation group and the control group.ConclusionThe family rehabilitation training can benefit the rural schizophrenic patients and their caregivers.
6.The effect of breast-feeding on newborns' pain caused by heel prick
Chinese Journal of Nursing 2010;45(5):429-431
Objective To evaluate the effect of breast-feeding on newborns' pain caused by heel prick. Methods A convenient sample of sixty newborns from a hospital in Beijing undergoing heel prick for the Newborn Screening Program Blood Test were enrolled. They were randomly divided into breast-feeding group and control group. The newborns in the breast-feeding group began to receive breast-feeding at two minutes before the heel prick until 8 minutes after the heel prick finished. The newborns' grimace, cry, heart rate (HR) and oxygen saturation (SaO_2) were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results There were significant differences on the starting time and lasting time of grimace and cry caused by pain, numbers of crying neonates,SaO_2 during and 1 to 4 minutes after heel stick,as well as the recovery time of SaO_2 after heel stick between the two groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion Breast-feeding can relieve newborns' pain caused by heel prick.
7.Clinical applications of blood biomarkers in ischemic stroke
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;37(7):497-500
Early diagnosis and timely treatment are two critical factors in reducing the cerebral damage and improving prognosis for ischemic stroke patients. The only proved effective way is to intravenously administer recombinant tissue plasminogen activator for thrombolytic therapy. However, the narrow time window restricts its application. One rapid and effective blood test,or auxiliary examinations such as computer tomography which may aid early diagnosis of ischemic stroke would contribute to treatment and intervention promptly, then take a pivotal role for the disease prognosis.Herein, the reported proteins and RNA markers are summarized and analysed in clinical application of acute ischemic stroke likewise.

OBJECTIVE:To probe into the effects of ?-1bIFN on the development process from the hepatitis gravis to postnecrotic cirrhosis.METHODS:The change of serum liver fibrosis markers and hepatic function were observed in treatment group and control group before and after treatment.RESULTS:(1)In treatment group, all the serum liver fibrosis markers were decreased after treatment and were significantly different from those in control group(P0.05).(2)After treatment, the levels of serum albumin, globulin and count of platelet reverted to normal in treatment group and the levels were significantly different from those in control group(P
9.The impact of intraoperative conversion on mortality in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting
Journal of Clinical Surgery 2017;25(5):363-365
Objective To analyze the incidence, risk factors, and impact of intraoperative conversion on the mortality in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting. Methods This retrospective observational study included 207 patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting.According to whether intraoperative conversion,207 patients were randomly divided into intraoperative unchanged group(191 cases)and intraoperative changed group(16 cases). The incidence, patient characteristics, cause of intraoperative conversion, and its impact on outcome were studied. Results Intraoperative conversion increases odds for mortality to 25.0%,while the other group was 1.0%.The most common cause for intraoperative conversion was hemodynamic disturbances during grafting to the obtuse marginal artery. On multivariate logistic regression analysis, left main disease, mitral regurgitation and higher EuroSCORE II independently predicted intraoperative conversion. Conclusion Intraoperative conversion to on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting is independently associated with higher mortality in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting.Identification of high risk group of intraoperative conversion may improve the outcome.
10.The relationship between preoperative hemoglobin concentration and use of hospital resources in cardiac surgery
Journal of Clinical Surgery 2017;25(7):544-546
Objective To explore the relationship of preoperative hemoglobin concentration and use of hospital resources. Methods 108 patients receiving cardiac surgery in the central hospital of wuhan were included. The relationship of preoperative hemoglobin concentration was explored on blood transfusion rates, return to the operating room for bleeding and/or cardiac tamponade, postoperative intensive care unit(ICU)and in-hospital length of stay, and mortality. Results For every 10-unit increase in hemoglobin(g/L),blood transfusion requirements were reduced by 8.0%,6.0%,and 3.0% for red blood cell units, platelet pools, and fresh frozen plasma units, respectively. For each 10-unit decrease in hemoglobin(g/L),the probability(over time)of discharge from the ICU and hospital increased 7.0%,16.0% respectively. Conclusion A lower preoperative hemoglobin concentration resulted in increased use of hospital resources after cardiac surgery. Therefore, the correction of decreasing preoperative hemoglobin concentration could improve the use of hospital resources after cardiac surgery.
